Is Prince William really a shy Christian?

Original Article

So Prince William is a good Anglican after all. He has told the Times, through an aide, of his commitment to the Church, on the eve of attending the installation of the new Archbishop of Canterbury. But does he consider himself a Christian believer? The statement awkwardly dances around that question. It leaves the impression that he does not really consider himself a Christian, but knows that he must keep this semi-veiled. The statement is difficult to analyse because the words are not quite his. They come from an aide; he presumably signed them off, but there is an air of vagueness and deniability in such a not-quite-statement.

Comments:

While I know that this doesn’t exactly pertain to our own political system, it does shed light on the value of separation of church and state, not least for Prince William.

Well if he is a true C of E Anglican, then he’s not a Christian as they have women priests, Bishops and now an Archbishop. They believe more in the sanctity of abortion than scripture or the Eucharist. They believe more English and American churches have split the Anglican Communion

The way it is looking population wise in the UK with unlimited huge numbers of foreign Muslims being waved into the UK it should not be long before the UK will be transformed into an Islamic Caliphate and William will be told to convert to Islam or face death in accordance with Islamic law.

One can be both, according to the Catholic Church. How many priests were suddenly transferred for getting too chummy with the altar boys?

While thousands of little English girls are raped systematically by Islamic immigrants and King Charles celebrates Eid Al-Fatr and “great Muslim contributions to British society” while not a word about the resurrection and Christian contributions at Easter it has to be said that the Christian underpinnings of the British monarchy are severely frayed and tattered if not worn completely away. While English citizens are beat up, decapitated, stabbed, blown up and sexually assaulted by Muslim immigrants and the King speaks only of “unity” and his role as the “protector of ‘faith’” rather than justice it would appear that the Windsors have abandoned their roles as British monarchs and become some sort of hybrids, unbelievers or simply outright Muslims hardly worth the price of one crown jewel. I’d throw them out of their multiple gilded thieves’ dens on their ears and replace them with the House of Hopkins or Murray or Robinson but my ancestors left England 400 years ago.

Useful idiots visit Cuba, right on time 0 replies

Leftists from around the world descended on Cuba over the weekend for a “humanitarian” trip aimed at protesting the United States’ oil blockade, and they played the role of useful idiots perfectly. Nothing says solidarity like going to an impoverished country and staying at a five-star hotel. Hundreds of delegates from dozens of countries brought several tons of food, medicine and other supplies to the island, which is struggling through an energy crisis. The best way to help the Cuban people, of course, would be to free them from a dictatorship that has failed to meet their needs for more than half a century. Yet the roster of attendees was more

President Trump is clear: Long-standing threats like the one emanating from the Iranian regime cannot be managed indefinitely. At some point, they must be confronted directly. That moment has arrived. The region is under attack. Missiles and drones are targeting infrastructure, economies, and civilian life. But this is not a story of a region breaking. It is a story of a region proving the resilience of what it has built. Because what is being tested right now is not just security. It is the economic and strategic model the Gulf has spent years, and in some cases decades, building. And under pressure, it is holding up remarkably well.

Politics, they say, makes strange bedfellows. War apparently makes even stranger enemies. Donald Trump’s decision to fulfill the promise of eight American presidents since 1979 to bring justice to the Iranian terror-sponsoring regime has not just elicited predictable outrage on the left, it has ripped apart the uneasy conservative alliance which brought Trump back to power last year. The resignation last week of Joe Kent as the director of the National Counterterrorism Center brought into sharp focus the deep divide between Trump and many of those who supported him on the false assumption that he opposed the use of force against foreign enemies, when in fact he has consistently treated it

The far-left mocked, belittled, and, in Hollywood productions (from Archie Bunker to Al Bundy to Charlie Sheen’s character Charlie Harper in "Two and a Half Men") parodied manliness into a thin cultural stereotype. With this accomplished, they began to blame masculinity (what they denounce as "toxic masculinity") for everything they’ve done to men, and/or, especially, to boys. The left next conveniently spun this into a political and marketing scheme: They defined the enemy as knuckle-dragging Neanderthals on the right, and presented themselves as the ones who could solve the now well-established crisis with boys. This is a clever political scheme, as manly men don’t tend to vote for Democrats

The assassination of Ali Larijani on March 17 has shattered what remained of Iran’s fragile leadership, accelerating its descent into a fractured autocracy—defiant in ideology but paralyzed in function. Just weeks after the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Larijani’s elimination removed the last credible link between the clerics, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and President Masoud Pezeshkian’s reformist‑leaning government. With no unifying authority and relentless bombardment underway, Tehran now faces its most vulnerable moment.

In politics, it is often the people who you think have your back who end up stabbing you there. Nobody knows that better than Donald Trump, who has been stabbed in the back more times than Julius Caesar — yet has still survived. This week, part of the noisy right-wing online podcast-sphere again turned on the president. Leading the virtual charge, again, was Trump’s one-time cheerleader, Tucker Carlson. There was a time when Carlson was fully Team Trump. Carlson often appeared at Trump rallies as part of the warmup act. But in the past year, he has tried to lead the MAGA base away from Trump and down a very dark path.

As the Islamic Republic trembles under internal dissent and external pressure, a once-theoretical question is becoming urgent: What comes the day after? For decades, Western policymakers focused on how to constrain Iran. Now, as Reza Pahlavi steps forward with a detailed post-regime vision, the conversation is shifting to what comes next and whether anyone is prepared for it. A recent Jerusalem Post report pointed to a striking reality. “Unlike many opposition figures, Pahlavi is not only calling for regime change but presenting a plan for what follows.” That distinction matters. His proposed Iran Prosperity Project outlines a structured transition beginning the moment the Islamic Republic falls

The probe began before Kent resigned this week over the Trump administration's handling of the war with Iran, the sources said. The FBI's Criminal Division is handling the probe, which has been underway for some time, one source said. The FBI declined to comment. Kent did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: We’re just completing the second week of the so-called Iran war — this effort of the United States to bomb the theocracy into submission so they will cancel their missile and nuclear programs and to champion the popular protests on the streets that have some potential to get rid of the regime itself. A Christian couple’s years-long fight to regain custody of their daughters from the Swedish government was dealt a major setback last week after a top European court rejected their plea for help. The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) ruled the case brought by Daniel and Bianca Samson "inadmissible" on March 10, a final decision that cannot be appealed. According to Alliance Defending Freedom International, which is supporting the family’s legal effort, the children have been separated from their parents since December 2022. ADF International said the case began after the couple’s eldest daughter, Sara, then 11, made a false abuse report at school

In March 2021, California principal Jesus Becerra was confronted by a clear and present threat to his school. Standing before him was the culprit — a student apparently so dangerous that Becerra had to act without delay to protect the entire Viejo Elementary School in the Capistrano Unified School District. The little girl is known only as B.B. in federal filings, but her actions were so heinous that a parent alerted Becerra to take all necessary action. Beccera showed B.B. the incriminating evidence: a picture of children holding hands with the words “any life” written under “Black Lives Matter.” Confronting the little girl, Becerra allegedly called the paper “racist.”

The Supreme Court ‘s conservative majority on Monday sounded skeptical of state laws that allow the counting of late-arriving mail ballots, a persistent target of President Donald Trump. The court heard arguments in a case from Mississippi that also could affect voters in 13 other states and the District of Columbia, which have grace periods for ballots cast by mail. An additional 15 states that have more forgiving deadlines for ballots from military and overseas voters also could be impacted. A ruling is expected by late June, early enough to govern the counting of ballots in the 2026 midterm congressional elections.

Intelligence agencies, federal law enforcement, and political operatives were accused of bending the machinery of government toward partisan ends. The promise from President Donald Trump was clear: expose it, clean it up, and drain the swamp. Now more than a year into Trump’s second term, many voters are beginning to ask a simple question: Where are the results?

Mueller, who died at 81 on Friday night, was the special counsel tasked with investigating allegations that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to benefit President Trump – a claim the current administration asserts was part of a “treasonous conspiracy” orchestrated by the Obama administration to “subvert” Trump. “Bob Mueller was one of the finest directors in the history of the FBI, transforming the bureau after 9/11 and saving countless lives,”

Dems have been playing fast and loose with our elections for quite a while now. They keep testing every gimmick they can think of. Whatever they can do to make voting drag on longer, feel less secure, and leave more room for “funny business.” Of course the one thing they don’t want to do is the most obvious: voter ID. Their schemes are always sold as some kind of better “access” or more “convenience,” but what they’re really doing is turning a civic act into a chaotic, messy process that Americans don’t trust.

Only Trump can find leverage in the Democrats' TSA defunding — turning those broke, unpaid TSA agents and the disastrously long lines at the nation's airports into a teachable, brilliant, GOTCHA moment to behold. When Democrats figure out what hit them, they'll be so tattooed with this disaster, even the leftist screechers will lead the effort to restore TSA funding. Things will change soon because local media in the woke cities are covering the increasing freak out by leftists because Donald Trump is replacing missing, unpaid, TSA agents with paid, and perhaps even masked, ICE agents

There are many qualities you look for in a director of the National Counterterrorism Center, but an active imagination isn’t one of them. Joe Kent, though, has shown since his high-profile resignation that he has one, and not the kind of imagination that makes for a great Elizabethan poet or a compelling noir novelist but the sort of fevered fancy that fuels the Candace Owens podcast. Kent says, apparently quite sincerely, that President Trump may have launched the war against Iran because he feels threatened from shadowy forces connected to Israel. There is a cognitive bias called the Dunning–Kruger effect, which -- in my opinion -- would be better called the Obama-Mamdani effect today. Dunning-Kruger describes a delusional mindset where “People with low knowledge or skill in an area tend to overestimate how competent they are.” In biblical terms, this kind of hubris is defined by Paul in Romans 12:3 as one “...think[ing] more highly of oneself than one ought.” That Scripture verse captures the essence of two popular, similar politicians who, despite having little knowledge or skill, have convinced many Americans of an expertise that simply doesn’t exist

And, indeed, this year, nine states – all Republican – either cut their top marginal tax rate or lowered their flat tax rate. Ohio became the 14th state to adopt a flat tax. “Democratic-controlled states are moving the opposite way

When President Trump ordered the attack on Iran, it was inevitable that he would receive considerable criticism from the Democrats and their mouthpieces in the corporate media. It was surprising, however, when he was denounced by various podcasters, most of whom have been stunningly naïve about Iran’s threat and why Trump had to take action. By far the most clueless of them has been Megyn Kelly.
