Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, the suspect identified in Thursday’s deadly shooting at Old Dominion University, previously pleaded guilty to terrorism charges in 2016 for attempting to provide materials to the Islamic State. The suspect killed one person and injured two others on the university’s campus, according to Old Dominion University Police Chief Garrett Shelton. FBI Director Kash Patel said the shooting is being investigated as an act of terrorism. “The shooter is now deceased thanks to a group of brave students who stepped in and subdued him – actions that undoubtedly saved lives along with the quick response of law enforcement,” Patel said in a post on X.

The Trump administration’s latest move appears to continue its promise to put America first. Americans have long paid the highest drug prices in the world, while patients in Europe and Canada receive the same medicines for a fraction of the cost. The Trump administration’s TrumpRx initiative aims to correct that imbalance. Last May, President Trump issued an executive order directing pharmaceutical companies to offer Americans “most-favored-nation” pricing – or the lowest price charged in other developed countries. This order came with an ultimatum to major drug manufacturers that they would face “aggressive action” from the U.S. government should they not comply.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr discussed the Federal Communications Commission’s ongoing deregulation initiative during a policy discussion hosted by Breitbart News on Tuesday, March 10, outlining an effort he said has already removed more than a thousand regulations and reduced hundreds of pages of the agency’s rulebook as part of a broader review of federal communications rules. Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle asked Carr to explain the FCC’s “delete, delete, delete” initiative aimed at removing outdated regulations from the agency’s rulebook. “This is the biggest deregulatory effort in the FCC’s history,” Carr declared. “We’ve gone through the FCC Code of Federal Regulations, which is our rule book.

A Trump administration official told Breitbart News that Chinese officials have now threatened to detain Panamanian-flagged vessels in China, something that could disrupt global commerce and represents retaliation against Panama for recent developments taking control of the two ports on either end of the Panama Canal out of the hands of a Hong Kong company controlled by the Chinese Communist Party. The threat, which was relayed to the Panamanian consulate in Greece by a major Greek shipping company and reported back to the American government —

Former President Barack Obama long ago surpassed the Rev. Jesse Jackson and the Rev. Al Sharpton as America's most influential race hustler. The country got a reminder when Obama spoke at Jackson's funeral, even though Jackson's son urged the speakers "not to bring their politics" to the service. Obama said, "Every day you wake up to things you just didn't think were possible. Each day, we're told by those in high office to fear each other, and to turn on each other. And that some Americans count more than others." Same old Obama. In his 2004 Democratic National Convention speech, he famously declared,

For decades, the United States poured billions into Lebanon, hoping to build a sovereign and stable ally in the Middle East. American aid was meant to strengthen the state, empower its army, and ensure that no weapons existed outside government control. Washington believed that with enough financial support, training, and diplomatic backing, Lebanon could become a functioning democracy and a reliable partner. By 2025, the latest version of this experiment was underway. Former army chief Joseph Aoun, widely viewed as aligned with the United States, was elected president. Nawaf Salam, a respected former judge of the International Court of Justice, became prime minister.

Iran could use drones to make a deadly strike on California at any time, a top US Army expert says — and we’re nowhere near ready for what could happen. Iranian forces have the technology, the ability and the motivation to launch withering drone attacks on targets in California, according to Brett Velicovich, a former US Army intelligence and special operations soldier who spent years using drones to hunt and kill the leaders of ISIS and other terrorist groups. Velicovich said America’s enemy is almost certainly trying to launch an attack on Californian shores with the use of drones. The FBI’s warning to local law enforcement,

The former FBI agent who ran the bureau’s warrantless spying program said this week that he personally witnessed the director and other senior officials recruiting agents based on political leanings, not qualifications, during Director James Comey’s tenure. Bassem Youssef, a retired special agent who ran the FBI’s Communications Analysis Unit from late 2004 until his retirement in late 2014, also says he warned senior officials about the potential for civil liberties abuses in the surveillance program that he oversaw, but said neither Comey nor the White House took his warnings seriously.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, two male Islamist terrorists threw a homemade bomb in an attempt to kill protesters at an anti-Islam rally outside Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s official residence on Saturday. The bomb was laced with metal and powerful explosives, according to the New York Times. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. It’s not just New York and California: All across the nation, blue states are committing political and economic suicide by targeting millionaires with high taxes. Who will suffer most from this ideologically driven push to punish the wealthy? Wage workers and the poor. Leftist Democratic pols demanding new state tax-the-rich measures are ignoring economic reality: Wealthy residents can and do move in response to unreasonable taxes — taking jobs, revenue and even congressional representation with them. In Washington state this week, a slim Democratic majority is on the verge of passing a 9.9% income tax on millionaires.

In a video posted to Instagram, Biden stated: I entered the role of first lady in a unique time in our nation’s history, in the midst of a pandemic and the shadow of an insurrection. Those days tested all of us—our resilience, our compassion, and our belief in one another—but we persevered. Serving in the historic East Wing was the honor of my life.

Japanese automaker Honda just cancelled the production of three planned made-in-the-U.S.A. electric cars, including the 0-Series SUV, the 0-Series Saloon, and the Acura RSX — and the company says it will write off massive losses as a result. Still, better than building EVs nobody wants to buy. The company said the EVs had to go to avoid future losses, complaining about the “current business environment where the demand for EVs is declining significantly.” I follow these things, and I'd somehow never even heard of Honda's 0-Series vehicles — assuredly for "zero emissions" — introduced at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and were

The first six days of war in Iran cost U.S. taxpayers at least $11.3 billion in munitions alone, according to Pentagon estimates reviewed by lawmakers, and experts say the final cost will only increase. That total does not include the cost of operating and maintaining the military force engaged in the war or battle damage sustained from Iran’s attacks. The military used about $5.6 billion in munitions in the first two days of the conflict, according to a person with knowledge of the estimate. The munitions cost was first reported by The Washington Post. The money spent on munitions, and the added expense of any damage done to U.S. military infrastructure

The uncontrollable kids went on the terrifying spree of violence at the Allerton Key Food at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday — and are still at large after a melee that sent customers scrambling for safety. “This is a supermarket. For years, the British £5 note has carried the face of Winston Churchill. The wartime prime minister who rallied Britain during its darkest hour has stared out from wallets and cash registers across the country, a constant reminder of the man who helped lead Britain through World War II. Now the Bank of England is considering scrapping that tradition. And what might replace one of Britain’s most consequential leaders says quite a lot about where parts of the country’s cultural establishment think Britain should be headed. Animals. Plants. Landscapes. Not the people who shaped the nation’s history. Wildlife. The idea surfaced after the Bank of England asked the public what themes they

“Islam is largely alien to American history—it certainly didn’t come into the United States on the Mayflower,” freshman Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Tex.) observed last month. Gill continued: “It’s something that we deliberately imported as a matter of immigration policy into our country.” Quite right. But who, exactly, is the “we” who implemented such a reckless—indeed, suicidal—act of mass cultural importation? It’s a frustratingly difficult question—and one we ought to be asking, especially in light of recent events. For two years after the Hamas pogrom of Oct. 7, 2023, keffiyeh-clad Muslim students did their best Hitler Youth impressions on American university campuses, clamoring to eliminate the State of Israel and “globalize the intifada”

Occasionally I hear credentialed professionals with prestigious titles whine about the so-called “war on expertise.” It really bothers people who see themselves as “experts” that a growing share of society ignores them. A psychologist might intuit something revealing from the lack of self-confidence plaguing our “expert” class. If all the fancy degrees, voluminous curricula vitae, and lofty career positions have failed to instill a resilient modicum of self-esteem, then perhaps all those things are not the true measures of a person’s worth. “Experts” do not like to be challenged. They say things such as, “I have a PhD in this,”
