An imam told worshippers at a Twin Cities mosque that Muslims are the “replacement” for those who once held positions of privilege in America, declaring during a sermon that “this is our moment.”
Imam Abdul Malik delivered the remarks on Jan. 23 at the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington, where he urged Muslims in Minnesota to seek positions of influence across American institutions — including mayor, police chief, congressional leadership and even the presidency.
“Those that are in opposition to Islam, they’re watching the growth and the development of the Muslim community, and it scares them. You know why? Not because you’re a threat. No,”

The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that Micheál Martin, Ireland’s taoiseach, or prime minister, is planning to discuss investments totaling $6.1 billion geared toward boosting American manufacturing and creating jobs.
This would add to a growing list of world leaders who have pledged to invest billions of dollars into the U.S. economy under President Donald Trump’s administration. “Irish investments in the U.S. being announced Wednesday include $5 billion over five years from sustainable paper-based packaging company Smurfit Westrock, $1 billion from

The Army is offering a fat reward for the capture of two thieves who stole drones from a base — amid fears of a possible Iranian drone strike on US soil.
The Army Criminal Investigation Division is offering a $5,000 reward for info leading to the arrest of the thieves who lifted the drones from Kentucky’s Fort Campbell in November.
The drones were stolen between Nov. 21 and 24, but officials didn’t reveal when they were discovered missing. The drones were Skydio X10D systems — light, long-range quadcopters used for aerial surveillance and reconnaissance.

Gridlock could be a thing of the past for New Yorkers — as the metropolitan area has been selected to become a test zone for high-flying air taxies.
The program will allow Big Apple travelers to shuttle via air transport from places like Manhattan to the local airports for the price of a luxury car service — after the Trump administration on Monday named New York and several other cities to be part of the air taxi tests.
The Port Authority will partner with several aerospace companies to run the three-year test — in which helicopter-like air vehicles will ferry users from short runways and heliports to places such as

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) web of shady family ties goes even deeper than her alleged marriage to her brother — reportedly using her political offices to secure millions of dollars for a Minneapolis health clinic operated by her sister, who is married to a top Somali government official.
Omar’s elder sister, Sahra Noor, states on her LinkedIn profile that she was the CEO of People’s Center Clinics & Services from July 2014 to April 2018. In January 2017, Omar began her two-year term as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives.
People’s Center is in the Minneapolis neighborhood of Cedar-Riverside, nicknamed “Little Mogadishu” for its high Somali

Now that the Virginia General Assembly has passed what it calls “assault weapon ban” legislation, all that’s needed is for Gov. Abigail Spanberger to sign it into law, which is all but a given. Once signed, Senate Bill 749 will likely take effect as soon as July 1, 2026. The law will ban the sale, import, manufacture, purchase, and transfer of what it describes as “assault firearms,” and it will treat high-capacity magazines that can hold 15 rounds or more in the same way. It will make any violations of the law a “Class 1 misdemeanor,” which could mean up to a year in jail and a $2,500

Former first lady Jill Biden announced she will publish a memoir this summer about her time in the White House, including reflections on the end of her husband Joe Biden’s presidency and his decision not to seek re-election.
In a video posted to Instagram, Biden stated:
I entered the role of first lady in a unique time in our nation’s history, in the midst of a pandemic and the shadow of an insurrection. Those days tested all of us—our resilience, our compassion, and our belief in one another—but we persevered. Serving in the historic East Wing was the honor of my life.

A dark money group of left-wing environmental activists has been quietly "training" judges overseeing climate-related lawsuits, hosting them at multi-day, all-expenses-paid seminars in locales like Napa Valley and Palm Beach. Judges who attend these luxury retreats—where they are subject to indoctrination—are not required to report them in ethics disclosures.
At the "Judicial Leaders in Climate Science" seminars, representatives of the activist group, the Climate Judiciary Project, present to the judges contested claims on climate and other environmental issues as settled, scientific fact. Judges who attend the seminars are also expected to make a year-long commitment to participate in CJP events, take online classes, and, perhaps most importantly, help identify and recruit

Three Norwegian brothers of Iraqi descent were arrested Wednesday for allegedly carrying out a “terror bombing” at the US embassy in Oslo over the weekend — as investigators probe whether it was done on behalf of a foreign state.
The three suspects, who have not yet been publicly identified, are accused of setting off an IED that damaged the entrance to the embassy’s consular section around 1 a.m. local time on Sunday, according to authorities. “They are suspected of a terror bombing,” Police Attorney Christian Hatlo told reporters at a news conference.
The three siblings, all in their 20’s, are Norwegian citizens of Iraqi descent. Police had not previously investigated the trio

Knife crime in the United Kingdom‘s capital city has become so commonplace that the London Assembly is backing a plan to install bleed kits at every major bus station and along bus routes experiencing sustained levels of violent crime. Over the weekend, the assembly passed a non-binding resolution asking the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to coordinate with Transport for London (TfL) to distribute the stab wound kits across the bus system. Notably, the motion is non-binding, meaning the London Mayor, Sir Sadiq Khan, is not obligated to act on it. Additionally, TfL—citing National Health Service (NHS) guidance—says it does not plan to publicly advertise the availability of the bleed kits

Well, that’s one way to stage a political comeback.
Tiffany Henyard, the former embattled Democratic mayor of a Chicago suburb, has been known as everything from “super mayor” to the “worst mayor in America.”
And now, it appears Henyard will also be known as a Republican. According to The Hill, the 42-year-old former mayor of Dolton, Illinois, isn’t just switching parties, but switching states, as well.
Henyard is now running as a Republican in the Fulton County Commission race in Georgia. She is the only Republican in that race, as she is currently facing four Democratic opponents.
This about-face comes after Henyard lost re-election bids for both mayor and township

California Republican gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell reportedly rents a single room in a home occupied by a family of three near Fresno — and one of his Democratic opponents says it’s just so the congressman can claim he lives in the Golden state.
The discovery came from Swalwell’s top Democratic opponent, billionaire Tom Steyer. Steyer says Swalwell appears to “live in California on paper only” as the governor race heats up, “making him unlikely to meet the basic residency requirements to run for Governor.”
In a letter from Ryan Hughes, Steyer’s attorney, he called on the Secretary of State Shirley Weber to “enforce a dormant residency requirement in the governor’s race” and
