From Panic to Therapy: Cycle of Faux Climate Fear

Not long ago, as part of a series of articles on what is being done in response to climate change in all fifty states, a New York Times publication painted a seemingly innocent picture of teenagers gathered at the edge of six wooded, hilly acres in Minnesota. These young people, guided by an environmental group called Green Crew, pulled weeds and tended to local plants. The article framed this collective action as a therapeutic remedy for a generation suffering from profound climate anxiety. A quoted scientist in the piece proposes that engaging in group activities mitigates the depression and negative emotions born from obsessing over changing weather patterns.

The "Climate Crisis" doom sellers are like drug pushers, SELLING a toxic, even potentially deadly product. It poisons individuals and it poisons society by bleeding funds into useless pursuits and diverting them from more useful purposes. It causes anxiety, tension, and confrontation based on lies. It enriches the "pushers" and in doing so, provides validation for them to continue their activities. One of the greatest lies to sell drugs is "it will make you feel better". Cleaning out invasive weeds may actually be a good thing to do but if you have to terrorize people with visions of apocalyptic climate disaster to accomplish it, that's sick. We need to start anew with environment and climate discussions with a foundation of honesty and proven facts. There is a lot we can honestly do to improve our environment. For example, I recently looked up info on paper recycling and found at least 30% of paper related product content is recycled. Further, it saves significant amounts of power and water to use recycled products instead of new wood pulp. So paper recycling seems like an economically smart thing to do. Probably metal and glass as well. Plastics, not so much. In general, are we in danger from or threatened by our environment. NO! Can we continue to make smart changes in our behavior to reduce real human caused damages? Yes, but we need to be honest about what we discover and VERIFY issues before we act.

True justice would be having the Green Crew pulling up Poison Ivy with their bare hands for a couple of hours and showing them Mother Nature's impartial version of therapy.

Mamdani’s Rent Freeze Proposals Ice

Zohran Mamdani met with the “Dealmaker in Chief” during an unexpected visit to the White House in late February to discuss a massive housing project. While plans to increase housing supply could lower rents if implemented, achieving broad affordability might just be an empty promise if socialist ideology prevails in New York City. Solving the housing crisis is a bipartisan issue, but the mayor’s campaign promise of rent control is not the silver bullet. And ever since he stacked the Rent Guidelines Board with a like-minded leftist majority that has the power to freeze rent for nearly 1 million units, disastrous rent-stabilized apartments may come to fruition.

The process of Syria’s radical Islamization and the vulnerability of Christians is ongoing at full speed. Jihadist indoctrination now starts at a very early age, including at kindergartens. Six-year-old girls at “Dar Al-Wahy” school in the city of Homs were recently recorded chanting during their morning assembly, “Welcome to death for the sake of Allah!”The X account Greco-Levantines Worldwide reported on 17 February:Since the fall of the Assad regime in December 2024, jihadist Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS)-led forces have largely controlled Syria. This is an Islamic terrorist group with roots in Al-Qaeda and ISIS (Islamic State).

The U.S. Department of Energy announced on Wednesday that it would be joining a global, coordinated strategic release of crude oil reserves in order to lower oil prices resulting from ongoing hostilities in Iran. “Earlier today, 32 member nations of the International Energy Agency (IEA) unanimously agreed to President Trump’s request to lower energy prices with a coordinated release of 400 million barrels of oil and refined products from their respective reserves,” Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Chris Wright said in a statement. Of the 400 million barrels of oil that will be released, the U.S. will contribute 172 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was hospitalized Friday in an intensive care unit with pneumonia, marking the latest health issue for the 70-year-old. Bolsonaro's eldest son Flávio Bolsonaro said earlier Friday that his father was being transferred from prison to a hospital after waking up with chills and vomiting. One of the former leader's doctors, Brasil Caiado, described the 70-year-old’s medical situation as serious. “Pneumonia in patients over 70 is always serious because it can progress to septicemia, since the bacteria can normally enter the bloodstream and cause an even more severe condition,” Caiado told reporters.

Building tunnels in which to store arms and bombs to kill Jews. Launching balloons of fire into Israel to kill Jews.

The Trump administration’s latest move appears to continue its promise to put America first. Americans have long paid the highest drug prices in the world, while patients in Europe and Canada receive the same medicines for a fraction of the cost. The Trump administration’s TrumpRx initiative aims to correct that imbalance. Last May, President Trump issued an executive order directing pharmaceutical companies to offer Americans “most-favored-nation” pricing – or the lowest price charged in other developed countries. This order came with an ultimatum to major drug manufacturers that they would face “aggressive action” from the U.S. government should they not comply.

Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle asked Carr to explain the FCC’s “delete, delete, delete” initiative aimed at removing outdated regulations from the agency’s rulebook. “This is the biggest deregulatory effort in the FCC’s history,” Carr declared. “We’ve gone through the FCC Code of Federal Regulations, which is our rule book.

Former President Barack Obama long ago surpassed the Rev. Jesse Jackson and the Rev. Al Sharpton as America's most influential race hustler. The country got a reminder when Obama spoke at Jackson's funeral, even though Jackson's son urged the speakers "not to bring their politics" to the service. Obama said, "Every day you wake up to things you just didn't think were possible. Each day, we're told by those in high office to fear each other, and to turn on each other. And that some Americans count more than others." Same old Obama. In his 2004 Democratic National Convention speech, he famously declared,

For decades, the United States poured billions into Lebanon, hoping to build a sovereign and stable ally in the Middle East. American aid was meant to strengthen the state, empower its army, and ensure that no weapons existed outside government control. Washington believed that with enough financial support, training, and diplomatic backing, Lebanon could become a functioning democracy and a reliable partner. By 2025, the latest version of this experiment was underway. Former army chief Joseph Aoun, widely viewed as aligned with the United States, was elected president. Nawaf Salam, a respected former judge of the International Court of Justice, became prime minister.

“Islam is largely alien to American history—it certainly didn’t come into the United States on the Mayflower,” freshman Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Tex.) observed last month. Gill continued: “It’s something that we deliberately imported as a matter of immigration policy into our country.” Quite right. But who, exactly, is the “we” who implemented such a reckless—indeed, suicidal—act of mass cultural importation? It’s a frustratingly difficult question—and one we ought to be asking, especially in light of recent events. For two years after the Hamas pogrom of Oct. 7, 2023, keffiyeh-clad Muslim students did their best Hitler Youth impressions on American university campuses, clamoring to eliminate the State of Israel and “globalize the intifada”

Occasionally I hear credentialed professionals with prestigious titles whine about the so-called “war on expertise.” It really bothers people who see themselves as “experts” that a growing share of society ignores them. A psychologist might intuit something revealing from the lack of self-confidence plaguing our “expert” class. If all the fancy degrees, voluminous curricula vitae, and lofty career positions have failed to instill a resilient modicum of self-esteem, then perhaps all those things are not the true measures of a person’s worth. “Experts” do not like to be challenged. The “Tax Revenue Raising Proposals” document is a wish list containing dozens of different tax hikes that could be employed to bail the Big Apple out, according to Bloomberg.
