The Man Setting Fire to the GOP

While audiences are eagerly awaiting broadcast of the conversation between U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee and Tucker Carlson, the podcaster has already scored a decisive win. Carlson and his team leaked to a friendly reporter that after the interview with Huckabee at Ben Gurion Airport, Israeli airport authorities detained and harassed them. (Snip) Not true, explained embassy staff and airport officials. The American media celebrity wasn’t detained, and the questions asked of him and his team in the airport’s VIP lounge were routine. On Thursday, video of Carlson posing for photographs with airport staff surfaced, evidence that he’d fabricated his account.

Comments:

This is about much more than the airport incident, or Israel.

I stopped listening to Carlson not long after he was booted from FOX. Something has either gone terribly wrong with him, or he was restrained from making a complete fool of himself by his producers. Carlson unleashed is a crap show of unhinged lunacy.

I believe Tucker Carlson has been threatened with great harm to him and his family if he kept exposing the ruling Elites corruption. So he has had to gone in a new direction.

Podcasts have become a home for people fired from high profile positions who still crave attention. Tucker, Candace Owens, Don Lemon, Jim Acosta, Steve Bannon, Megyn Kelly. There are many and all of them have at least some followers. None of them are influential.

Tucker Carlson is starting to look more like Lindsey Graham, both running around the world and sticking their face in front of every issue to get publicity, and make their worthless lives relevant to themselves.

FTA: According to former Fox News broadcaster Melissa Francis, who is taking credit for brokering the Huckabee interview, Carlson told her that Trump “asked him to rein in the fight within the Republican Party over Israel, out of a concern that it was helping the Democratic Party.” I read that Trump comment as politely asking Tucker to use his influence to unite rather than divide the GOP. Imo, Tucker is leading that ego-driven “fight” within the GOP in the first place. He should use his influence with his followers to unite with the GOP on the greater number of beneficial issues where there are no disagreements. Focusing on defeating the Democrats, whose communistic intent is destroying our Constitutional Republic, is the most important issue facing America. We have been granted that opportunity for restoration of our founding precepts and principles by the grace of Almighty God. I pray for His providence to protect US from influences that will undermine that restoration. A return to the godless, anti-American policies of the past will mean absolute destruction of the American Ideal. That could easily happen if the focus of voters becomes distracted by prejudicial disagreements when it comes time to vote.

Tucker is all about taking the US down a notch or two. Our Israel relationship isn't the only thing. He had a guy on his podcast that said WWII was Churchill's and our fault. Hitler just wanted a little more land and if we had left him alone WWII would have never happened. I'll admit that the US has made mistakes over the years, the CIA has overstepped its bounds, but Tucker has gone off the deep end in his criticism our country.

A viral clip is making the rounds showing Christopher Hitchens, who passed away in 2011, giving a talk in 2005. (Snip)In it, he discusses the Barbary slave trade that captured an estimated 1.5 million Europeans and Americans over several hundred years. (Snip)all of this has been driven by religious imperatives and duties written into the Koran. That is reality, not “Islamophobia,” a word the left recently invented to protect their radical Islamist allies in the West. The threat of destruction from radical Islamists, as we term them today, has always been real and as imminent as their abilities allow.

Oh no, the America First/MAGA coalition is completely falling apart because--and I want to make sure I’ve got this correct–Donald Trump has systematically destroyed a bunch of Third World semi-human pagan savages who have been murdering Americans for nearly 50 years before they could top a missile with a hot rock and nuke Philadelphia. Yeah, the coalition is gravely disappointed–but not in Trump. It’s disappointed that a small component of his coalition that, for reasons that remain elusive and probably involve extreme greed, a psychotic break, gross stupidity, and/or libertarianism,(Snip)has decided to adopt views that are functionally identical to those of the damn communists.

Western sources, always careful not to offend, describe Ramadan as “a month of intense spiritual renewal, focused on devotion.” In contrast, Islamic sources and clerics instruct devout Muslims to view it as a time for jihad, conquest, and martyrdom. (Snip) In fact, the common belief is that the call to wage jihad intensifies during Ramadan and that the divine reward for martyrdom during the daylight fasting month is greater. Therefore, it is troubling that government offices, military bases, public schools, and many corporate-run businesses across America celebrate Ramadan, and have been doing so for decades. This persists even though the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits favoring one religion

So it was the end of Ramadan yesterday or early this morning. I didn’t to know this. I don’t care about this. My position is that if people want to not eat during daylight hours because a psychopathic 7th century bandit and child rapist thought that was a good idea, or because imams subsequent to Mohammed have done so, it’s their primitive business and not a particular concern of mine. But I don’t get a choice about whether I engage with this nonsense. Duckworth also warned that the policy was likely implemented "without meaningful consultation with TSA," citing an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security's inspector general that found it created a new security vulnerability in airport screening systems. The IG's classified report found that TSA scanners are unable to effectively screen shoes, raising concerns that threat items could evade detection. The report was allegedly buried

In a development raising red flags across the Atlantic, Britain’s Labour government has appointed the UK’s first “anti-Muslim hostility tsar” and adopted a new definition of anti-Muslim hostility — reframed from “Islamophobia” — as part of its £4 million social cohesion strategy. The definition describes such hostility as “a type of racism” targeting “expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness,” including prejudicial stereotyping that could incite hatred. Officials claim it addresses record-high anti-Muslim hate crimes while protecting free speech. Critics, however, see it as a potential censorship tool that could limit scrutiny of Islamic extremism, grooming gangs, or integration challenges.

President Donald Trump on Friday proposed to begin privatizing airport security operations handled by the Transportation Security Administration, in an effort to save money. The White House budget proposes cutting funding for the federal agency created after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks by $52 million and would require small airports to enroll in a program in which TSA pays for private screeners. TSA has about 50,000 federal employees who handle screening at nearly all U.S. airports. Budget documents released on Friday said airports currently using the privatization program have demonstrated savings compared to federal screening operations. In recent weeks, major U.S. airports suffered massive disruptions after TSA security officers went unpaid since mid-February
