Mamdani Is Collapsing Faster Than We Thought

You can’t say we didn’t warn New York what was going to happen if it elected Zohran Mamdani, but I gotta say, I don’t think anyone predicted it would start collapsing so quickly. But, alas, it has. That socialist utopia that Mamdani was supposed to deliver has instead turned into a slow-motion fiscal catastrophe a mere two months in — and even the liberal media is starting to notice. Mamdani unveiled a $127 billion budget for fiscal year 2027 this week — a staggering $5 billion increase over the prior year. But what's $5 billion between socialists, right? To put that into perspective, Mamdani’s proposed budget is

NYC has always been hemorrhaging money. Mamdani has done the equivalent of removing a body part without applying a tourniquet first. The sickening part is there are people enriching themselves, mostly in government or well connected, while everything is collapsing. It's self-inflicted.

Mamdani will blame everyone else, it's the Socialist way. Consider Mr. Potato Head, Joe Bidet; the media and the Left blamed others and denied his ineptitude. Bidet's admin was doing everything right, more time was needed, and a few laws needed to be changed to set things right. Trump's policies exposed their lies. Even people who won't help Mamdani, like Hochul, will agree that others are to blame. People who voted for Mamdani and Bidet DESPERATELY need to believe it's someone else's fault and that the policies they support are correct. Their self image REQUIRES they be correct. In Socialist countries, they have no other choice, it's Socialism and nothing else. Right now the awfulness of the situation in NYC is becoming apparent. The switcheroos and the blame game are starting. The city will collapse into ruin. We will have to build a wall around NYC to keep the destitute and criminals in. Oh, wait, that was a movie. Hmm, maybe not a bad idea. Give the Socialists NYC & LA and wall them in to marinate in their stupidity and bad ideas. Let them figure it out, if they can, and suffer the consequences, which they will. Maybe we could toss Minnesota into the mix as well, Timmy for sure.

The New York City leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats, along with the unknowing, no doubt utilized both illegal and legal votes to elect Mamdani, who really had no experience even as a politically elected high level dog catcher. So Common Sense should have told those illegal and legal voters that Mamdani would end up crashing and burning. It looks like Mamdani is just crashing and burning faster than thought. So let the voters of New York City who elected Mamdani live with all that up until the next election there!

Thinking the same thing #1. Z performed miserably during the last snowstorm. I've seen videos where residential areas were not plowed or poorly plowed. There were drifts several feet high making it next to impossible for either vehicles or pedestrians to navigate. Trash trucks couldn't pick up trash so there were piles of trash on top of the drifts. What comes after trash? RATS!!! They could be seen running over the drifts to get to the garbage. One of the YouTubers said he was 6' tall and he was unable to see over the snow/trash piles. The snow from the last storm is mostly gone now but it looks like NYers will have to handle another one. Z will most likely not be prepared for it ... or care ... as long as the streets around Gracie Mansion are pristine that's all that counts. Time for the peasants to storm the mansion; bring pitchforks.

The Democratic Socialists of America believe voter identification laws are “racist,” but DSA comrade and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani wants you to provide a grip of IDs to have the honor of being an “emergency snow shoveler.” How many IDs are we talking about? The NYC website for aspirational shoveler’s asks for the following documents on its application page: Two small photos Two “original forms of ID, plus copies” Social Security card That seems like a lot, but then again, shovelers who get hired make up to $28.71 per hour. Ed wrote this morning about reports that Trump is considering limited strikes on Iran in order to prod them to move to our position on disarmament. He rightly notes that "limited" strikes are exactly the wrong way to go, which is why I believe these reports are basically disinformation, meant to suggest that massive strikes are not imminent. The rational order of battle should be the opposite. First, take out the anti-aircraft and radar systems in Iran with stealth bombers and fighters, and immediately after start going after the launchers on a massive first wave. We wouldn't get all of them or even most of them the first time,

In a 6-3 Friday, the Supreme Court blocked President Donald Trump’s imposition of reciprocal tariffs, which the president had successfully used to raise much-needed government revenue and level the playing field with countries charging exorbitant tariffs on U.S. goods. The decision upheld rulings by lower courts declaring Trump’s use of a presidential emergency power provision to unilaterally impose the tariffs unconstitutional. The ruling invalidating Trump’s tariffs immediately sparked extravagant conjecture and commentary about the implications of the decision. “It is important to be clear about what the Supreme Court’s decision on IEEPA does — and does not — do,” Rep. Don’t worry: Friday’s Supreme Court decision limiting some of President Donald Trump’s tariff powers won’t derail his larger, vital project of rebalancing US trade relations, boosting US industry and safeguarding US supply chains — nor should it. Yes, he’ll need to find other ways (more permanent and legally airtight) to pursue those goals, but the high court’s ruling against his across-the-board tariffs illegal also made it clear he has many such tools at his disposal — including other tariff powers. Even many of his allies warned that imposing import duties under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act was legally dubious;
