Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein

Original Article

Through the years I didn’t really have much of an opinion of Steve Bannon, I approached any story of interest that surrounded him by simply looking at the factual details of the current event in question. CTH well understood that Bannon, and subsequently his expressed opinion and objective, was simply an outcome of his position – downstream from the billionaire of the moment who paid him. .(snip) That said, with the release of the Epstein files, the relationship between Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein is something CTH did not expect. {HERE} Bannon and Epstein were very close and talked to each other about seemingly everything.

Comments:

Bannpn was never my "type" He seemed to work too hard at being a "mmaverick" and working that image. This exposure (from the released Epstein files) of his very close relationship with Epstein (without any implication about sex) is fascinating. Bannon was no friend of Trump or MAGA.

I have always felt that sowing animosities among those that largely support us are the work of those that want to see us divided and lost. I don't want to get rid of Bannon, Noem, Hegseth, Bessent, or anyone else on our side. My focus is getting rid of Democrats, and it is laser.

The Virginia Supreme Court handed Democrats a massive win Friday, allowing them to move forward with a redistricting referendum that would gerrymander the commonwealth’s U.S. House districts from five Republicans and six Democrats to one Republican and 10 Democrats. Democrats have been looking for a way to push through their referendum, despite legal challenges and court rulings saying the efforts are illegal, in time for an April 21 special election that would allow the gerrymandered map to take effect before the November general election.Early voting i(snip) If the referendum passes, it would allow the Virginia legislature the authority to redraw the congressional maps, instead of its nonpartisan commission.

I find this statement by Andrew Wilson to be generally accurate: “The Epstein files create so much emotional charge that having rational discourse about them is basically impossible. People want arrests but don’t know who they want arrested. They want justice but don’t know who they want justice for. Totally Incoherent outrage. Mob panic.”A mass formation psychosis has fallen upon the Epstein matters and clouded the judgement of reasonable people. It’s the “reasonable people” facet that became the challenge that Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna needed to control.Led by financing from the anti-Trump administrative state allies, they created a controversy. Thomas Massie needed to create a political crisis he could

At some point, you have to ask what exactly the left is fighting for.Because when a man is caught with 57 pounds of meth, this probably isn’t the hill you should die on. Clearly, something has gone very wrong in the Democrat Party. America is drowning in drugs, and families are being ripped apart by addiction. US cities are buckling under fentanyl and meth epidemics, and yet in Minneapolis, left-wing activists showed up to physically try to block ICE from arresting an illegal caught with enough meth to poison entire communities.

In the race for California governor, so many Democratic candidates have crowded into the contest that party insiders have become fearful of a historic calamity in the making. It’s become mathematically possible that Democrats divide their vote so much that two Republicans advance from the June primary to the general election. “It’s the parlor game in Sacramento right now — could this happen?” Democratic consultant Paul Mitchell said. The uncertainty in the outcome stems from the state’s unpredictable “ top two ” primary system. All candidates appear on a single ballot but only the two top finishers advance to the November general election,

In the wake of the Democrats’ successful flipping of a long-held GOP Texas state senate seat, one that President Trump won handily in 2024, many pundits expressed opinions about what happened and who was culpable (Republicans) or commendable (Democrats) for it.(snip)  the pressing question remained: is this a palpable sign that the Democrats’ “Long Game” is beginning to turn red Texas purple? Some thought “yes.” Some thought “no.” I thought of California. California is America’s most populous state and arguably also the most Democrat. Along with New York, it is a cornerstone state of the modern Democrat Party. Texas is the second most populous state and arguably the most Republican.

While much of Europe has spent the last decade apologizing for its own existence, Italy just did something totally different, and it’s got a lot of people applauding. Instead of issuing another tired, failed speech about “shared responsibility” and “global migration flows,” Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has just approved legislation that will use the Italian navy to stop illegals from reaching Italian shores in the first place.

Johnson evaded the direct question with tired talking points and baseless accusations before Jennings got to the meat of the matter. “You’ve yet to lay out HOW,” Jennings said.

Redistricting Betrayal in Virginia 14 replies

Five years ago, two-thirds of Virginia voters passed a referendum that ostensibly eliminated partisan gerrymandering from the congressional redistricting process that follows each decennial census. This amended the commonwealth’s constitution such that redistricting would thence forth be carried out by the Virginia Redistricting Commission (VRC) rather than state politicians burdened by conflicts of interest. This bill of goods was sold to the Old Dominion’s voters as “election reform” by a very expensive public relations campaign run by various Democrat-affiliated activist groups. It was obvious that the VRC would be jettisoned when it no longer served Democrat interests.
