U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers discovered more than $6.8 million worth of cocaine hidden inside a Valentine’s rose shipment at the Texas-Mexico border.
The massive drug bust at Laredo’s World Trade Bridge on February 10 yielded approximately 516 pounds of cocaine concealed among fresh flowers.
Officials reported the haul contained enough cocaine for roughly 190,000 lethal doses. A CBP officer flagged the tractor-trailer for secondary inspection after it arrived at the crossing. The driver had declared the cargo as roses and fresh flowers.
Officers deployed a canine team and non-intrusive imaging technology during their search. They discovered 211 packages of alleged cocaine tucked within the floral shipment.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is making it clear to the world’s migrants that they do not have a right to immigrate to the United States.
During a press conference in Budapest, Hungary, alongside Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Rubio said that the U.S. under the Trump administration is singularly focused on what benefits and does not benefit the national interest.
Part of that, Rubio said, is ensuring that foreign nationals are aware that they do not have a right to a visa in the U.S.
“My job at the State Department is, if I identify someone who I believe — someone who is a visitor, a guest in the United States —

The United States once regularly resettled migrants from the most corrupt nations in the world across American communities, a new analysis details. Last year, though, President Donald Trump halted much of this immigration via executive orders.
The analysis, published by the Center for Immigration Studies, looked at countries whose nationals Trump’s executive orders have either entirely or partially banned from immigrating to the United States.
In particular, the analysis highlights corruption levels on a nation-by-nation basis, showing that in Fiscal Year 2024, and likely prior years, the U.S. issued visas to tens of thousands of foreign nationals from the most corrupt countries in the world.
South Sudan, for example, is ranked as

WASHINGTON — Far-left New York City Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is being widely mocked for erroneously claiming that Venezuela is “below the equator” while trying to show off her foreign-policy chops in Germany.
Venezuela sits just above the equator, but that didn’t stop the Democratic socialist — who majored in international relations at Boston University — from making the embarrassing gaffe while speaking at a Technical University of Berlin panel Sunday.
“[Nicolas] Maduro canceled elections. He was an anti-democratic leader,” Ocasio-Cortez said, describing the Venezuela elections that took place under the Maduro regime and which many international organizations have said were rigged. “That doesn’t mean that we can kidnap a head of state

A federal court in Chicago indicted two Pakistani nationals for their alleged participation in a $10 million Medicare scam on Thursday, a Department of Justice (DOJ) press release stated.
According to the press release, Burzhan Mirza and Kashif Iqbal used “nominee-owned laboratories” and “durable medical equipment providers” to make fraudulent Medicare and insurance claims “for items and services that were not provided.”
Mirza, 31, lived in Pakistan and allegedly “obtained the identifying information of individuals, providers, and insurers without their knowledge,” using the information to support claims being submitted through “nominee-owned companies." Iqbal, 48, lived in Lavon, Texas,

Last year's deadly midair collision at Reagan National Airport, which killed all 67 people aboard an American Airlines plane and a U.S. Army helicopter, was a wake-up call that many on the left refused to hear. President Donald Trump, however, understood the problem and sought to fix it. He pointed directly at the Barack Obama and Joe Biden DEI policies that prioritized checkbox diversity over actual competence in air traffic control.
He was absolutely right.
Air traffic control whistleblowers confirmed that the FAA's obsession with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives has led to a shortage of qualified personnel. These disastrous policies began under Obama, were reversed during Trump’s first term, and then

An internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement memo proposes a sweeping “detention reengineering” initiative aimed at fixing the system’s most chronic failures — overcrowded facilities, slow transfers, and deportation backlogs that allow criminal aliens to cycle repeatedly through American communities. The proposal, backed by frontline ICE personnel and major law enforcement groups, would expand detention capacity, streamline processing, and accelerate removals of offenders who currently linger in local jails for weeks or walk free due to lack of space.
The February 13 memo, marked “For Official Use Only” and published on the New Hampshire governor’s website, states that the initiative is needed to address the agency’s orders

A new report accuses the social studies curriculum of the School District of Philadelphia as being anti-Semitic and anti-American due to the curriculum’s new focus on looking at history through oppressor and oppressed categories.
The Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis published a report Wednesday criticizing the SDP’s social studies curriculum for allegedly attacking Western values and institutions, specifically “capitalism, racism, and settler colonialism.” The report alleged the move toward “anti-racist, decolonizing curriculum” encouraged teachers to openly attack America, Zionism, and Israel in their classrooms, according to a Wednesday X post by CAMERA’s account.

While in Germany for the Munich Security Conference, Hillary Clinton participated in a panel titled, “The West-West Divide: What Remains of Common Values.”
During the panel, Clinton appeared to take a stronger approach to her previous stance on border security.
“There is a legitimate reason to have a debate about things like migration,” Clinton said.
“It went too far, it’s been disruptive and destabilizing, and it needs to be fixed in a humane way with secure borders that don’t torture and kill people and how we’re going to have a strong family structure because it is at the base of civilization,” she added.
Clinton acknowledged that there are places where a physical barrier is

It happened again. Another Democratic politician posed for a photo while attempting to cook meat on a grill. This time it was Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D., Va.) who tried to look normal by grilling a substance some claim was intended to represent "beef." The governor posted a photo of herself on X along with the caption "Order up!" and a steak emoji. Many remarked upon the hideous appearance of the alleged meat, as well as the deranged grin on Spanberger's face—the manic visage of an overmedicated wine mom about to mow down a rival's goldendoodle with her luxury SUV. It was a disastrous grill-related performance from the Democrats, but

SEOUL, South Korea — South Korea’s spy agency told lawmakers on Thursday that it believes the teenage daughter of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is close to being designated as the country’s future leader as he moves to extend the family dynasty to a fourth generation.
The assessment by the National Intelligence Service comes as North Korea is preparing to hold its biggest political conference later this month, where Kim is expected to outline his major policy goals for the next five years and take steps to tighten his authoritarian grip.
In a closed-door briefing, NIS officials said they are closely monitoring whether Kim’s daughter

Judge Boasberg strikes again! On Thursday, he issued a follow-up to his December 22, 2025, order commanding the Trump administration to facilitate the return of those Tren de Aragua members who were removed from the U.S. in March and sent to El Salvador so that they can contest that removal. This one spells out what Boasberg expects the administration to do to remedy the situation. To review that December ruling, Boasberg, after determining that he has jurisdiction over the matter, ordered the administration to facilitate the plaintiffs' return to the U.S. to provide them "a meaningful opportunity" to contest their designation as TdA members and the proclamation’s validity.
