Team Trump and other Republicans decided to use Valentine's Day as an excuse to have a lighthearted time of things on social media, with simple parodies of classic holiday greeting cards to complex videos with policy messaging included within their love letter-esque form. We'll start with the least engaging posts first, as well-meaning and good-natured in spirit as they might be.
Republicans on the House Oversight Committee reminded everyone with their missive for the holiday that former President Joe Biden (or someone at the White House acting on his behalf) used that autopen a little too often:

Former Secretary of State and twice-filed presidential candidate headlined a panel at the Munich Security Conference Saturday called “Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights: Fighting the Global Pushback.”
After railing against supposed “anti-gender” and "anti-rights” movements that threaten females, Clinton turned the microphone over to her second guest — the first "female" one — openly transgender lawmaker Rep. Sarah McBride (DE-at-large). Clinton said McBride is someone who tried "to explain and truly bring people together around issues of gender.”
“She’s a gender rights champion,” the one-time First Lady proclaimed.
McBride wasted no time in blasting the United States for its supposed war on transgenders:

"What are you doing? You should probably go do your job where your job lives."
These are only some of the actual words a boorish, self-entitled woke woman told a deputy sheriff while interrogating him about why he was sitting in his car outside of a school in Thurston County, Wash. It was an exchange she recorded and consciously put on social media to show the world her "bravery" in speaking truth to power. And it completely backfired on her.
We have every right to ask questions of law enforcement, but this woman's moment of "bravery" instead outside of Seven Oaks Elementary School looked studied and mean. What she actually

This week’s major developments include a number of secondary explosions: government bureaucrats who censored free speech on internet platforms using NGOs as covers will be facing court action; the fallout from the boomeranging Epstein disclosures keep damaging the Democrats and their foreign allies; the media’s promotion of the moronic Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez only served to highlight that she’s is ill-informed and too lazy to prepare for interviews; and DOGE and Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent are making it very hard to keep hiding Democratic corruption.

I have a hard time resisting Monty Python references these days, which is why I used one of the more famous lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail as my headline, despite the fact that it only sorta fits my essay. Monty Python caught the absurdity of modern leftist ideology well before most people did, with its famous scenes like this one: (X) Not to mention "Loretta," which predicted the alphabet movement long before it burst out into the mainstream, and again linked it to the Anarcho-Marxist line of thinking.

I am calling for a complete and total shutdown of all Super Bowl halftime shows until we can figure out what the hell is going on. Moreover, I am calling for President Trump to appoint a bipartisan commission of inquiry chaired by Bugs Bunny, with full subpoena power over Bad Bunny, Good Bunny, and Okay Bunny. Also Roger Goodell, who I am renaming Roger Badell. I vote for next year’s halftime show to be Bugs Bunny and Weird Al Yankovic. Just be sure to check everyone’s ID before they vote.

"A million here, a million there, and pretty soon you’re talking real money," Sen. Everett Dirksen is supposed to have said more than 50 years ago, and if you do that 370 times, according to California Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton, you might have enough to cover the Golden State taxpayer dollars diverted into Democrat "voter machines."
The details get a little technical — money laundering isn't supposed to be easy to follow, after all — so I'll break down Hilton's allegations as quickly and cleanly as possible before we get to the big picture.

Climate alarmist Michael Mann was for quite a few years the go-to “climate scientist” in the left-wing press. But the Associated Press’s sub silentio deletion of Mann from its story on the Trump administration’s revocation of the Obama administration’s CO2 endangerment finding suggests that Mann may have lost that status.
The Associated Press is, of course, on the Democratic Party’s team on this issue. They are wrong, but that isn’t the point here. The AP’s story is titled “Trump set to gut U.S. climate change policy and environmental regulations: White House official.” It begins:
The Trump administration is expected this week to revoke a scientific finding that long has been

You had to figure that Disney's live(ish)-action Snow White reboot would lose money, but even my eyes watered when I read this morning that the oft-derided musical lost about $170 million. But get this, had Disney not produced the movie in the U.K. — and received a reported $65 million (!!!) in tax credits — then Snow White would have lost the Mouse House a jaw-dropping $235 million...
...and entered the Hollywood Hall of Shame as one of the 10 biggest money-losing movie of all time, somewhere between Disney's 2012 stinker, John Carter, and Peter Berg's Battleship from the same year.

A horrible tragedy occurred yesterday in Canada when a killer, later identified as a “trans identifying woman,” shot nine people to death and injured 27 others, before turning the gun on himself. The Canadian establishment has been desperate to hide the truth about the shooter, but this was not a secret the establishment could sit on.
The shooting took place at the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in tiny Tumbler Ridge, a remote rural community in British Columbia. The killer began by murdering two people at a home, then headed for the secondary school (grades 7-12), where he opened fire. Six people died on school grounds, and one died en route

Today must be my day for trashing Pravda. Already, I have trashed Peggy Noonan's lament for the Washington Post, and contrasted her fantastical idea of what the media's relationship to truth is with the fact that the Post lionizes Adam Schiff as a model Democrat who is trying to save democracy.
Noonan writes for The Wall Street Journal, so I trashed it. The Washington Post is the "gold standard" for political coverage, and I trashed them.
So next, I need to trash the New York Times to complete a trifecta.
Jamelle Bouie gives me that opportunity, as it happens. He is a columnist for the Times and has been called

Global warming morphed into climate change so that liberals could complain about any inconvenient weather and blame it on free enterprise. Thus, we have the absurd situation where liberals claim that “climate change” causes both excessive heat and excessive cold, whichever happens to be occurring at the moment.
This makes no sense. Saying that climate change causes warmer (or colder) weather is circular. It is like saying that my weight change caused me to get heavier. Blaming both heat and cold on climate change is like saying that my weight change caused me to get both heavier and lighter, at different times.
In any event, it isn’t true. Both extreme heat
