"A million here, a million there, and pretty soon you’re talking real money," Sen. Everett Dirksen is supposed to have said more than 50 years ago, and if you do that 370 times, according to California Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton, you might have enough to cover the Golden State taxpayer dollars diverted into Democrat "voter machines." The details get a little technical — money laundering isn't supposed to be easy to follow, after all — so I'll break down Hilton's allegations as quickly and cleanly as possible before we get to the big picture. Similar to collecting donations for Alcoholics Anonymous and using it to throw a beer party while keeping a chunk to pay the bartenders. Do people really not know that this stuff is going on? A better question, is there not an honest democrat anywhere?

My bet is that this is the tip of an iceberg. Probably FAR more money has been stolen, and NOT ONE PENNY will ever be recovered. Count on that.

Think about it, all of these social programs are designed for one thing and one thing only. Money laundering. And it's mostly democrats. How can one say that? Well just look at every democratic run city and state. All have high taxers that provide zero benefits to the people living there. Everything is below standard and nobody knows where the money went. Look at education. 60 to 70 percent of your taxes go to education. Yet democratic run cities are producing nothing more than functional illiterates. High school kids who can't read, write or do math at an acceptable level. Their schools are crime filled and are falling apart. Again where did the money go. You think democrats care about people, your family, your children, think again. Got it.

I have a hard time resisting Monty Python references these days, which is why I used one of the more famous lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail as my headline, despite the fact that it only sorta fits my essay. Monty Python caught the absurdity of modern leftist ideology well before most people did, with its famous scenes like this one: (X) Not to mention "Loretta," which predicted the alphabet movement long before it burst out into the mainstream, and again linked it to the Anarcho-Marxist line of thinking.

I am calling for a complete and total shutdown of all Super Bowl halftime shows until we can figure out what the hell is going on. Moreover, I am calling for President Trump to appoint a bipartisan commission of inquiry chaired by Bugs Bunny, with full subpoena power over Bad Bunny, Good Bunny, and Okay Bunny. Also Roger Goodell, who I am renaming Roger Badell. I vote for next year’s halftime show to be Bugs Bunny and Weird Al Yankovic. Just be sure to check everyone’s ID before they vote.

Climate alarmist Michael Mann was for quite a few years the go-to “climate scientist” in the left-wing press. But the Associated Press’s sub silentio deletion of Mann from its story on the Trump administration’s revocation of the Obama administration’s CO2 endangerment finding suggests that Mann may have lost that status. The Associated Press is, of course, on the Democratic Party’s team on this issue. They are wrong, but that isn’t the point here. The AP’s story is titled “Trump set to gut U.S. climate change policy and environmental regulations: White House official.” It begins: The Trump administration is expected this week to revoke a scientific finding that long has been

You had to figure that Disney's live(ish)-action Snow White reboot would lose money, but even my eyes watered when I read this morning that the oft-derided musical lost about $170 million. But get this, had Disney not produced the movie in the U.K. — and received a reported $65 million (!!!) in tax credits — then Snow White would have lost the Mouse House a jaw-dropping $235 million... ...and entered the Hollywood Hall of Shame as one of the 10 biggest money-losing movie of all time, somewhere between Disney's 2012 stinker, John Carter, and Peter Berg's Battleship from the same year. I could go over all the reasons

A horrible tragedy occurred yesterday in Canada when a killer, later identified as a “trans identifying woman,” shot nine people to death and injured 27 others, before turning the gun on himself. The Canadian establishment has been desperate to hide the truth about the shooter, but this was not a secret the establishment could sit on. The shooting took place at the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in tiny Tumbler Ridge, a remote rural community in British Columbia. The killer began by murdering two people at a home, then headed for the secondary school (grades 7-12), where he opened fire. Six people died on school grounds, and one died en route

Today must be my day for trashing Pravda. Already, I have trashed Peggy Noonan's lament for the Washington Post, and contrasted her fantastical idea of what the media's relationship to truth is with the fact that the Post lionizes Adam Schiff as a model Democrat who is trying to save democracy. Noonan writes for The Wall Street Journal, so I trashed it. The Washington Post is the "gold standard" for political coverage, and I trashed them. So next, I need to trash the New York Times to complete a trifecta. Jamelle Bouie gives me that opportunity, as it happens. He is a columnist for the Times and has been called

Global warming morphed into climate change so that liberals could complain about any inconvenient weather and blame it on free enterprise. Thus, we have the absurd situation where liberals claim that “climate change” causes both excessive heat and excessive cold, whichever happens to be occurring at the moment. This makes no sense. Saying that climate change causes warmer (or colder) weather is circular. It is like saying that my weight change caused me to get heavier. Blaming both heat and cold on climate change is like saying that my weight change caused me to get both heavier and lighter, at different times. In any event, it isn’t true. Both extreme heat

Lying, performative theatrics, and endless virtue signaling have a way of coming back at you in the modern age, especially when you have platforms like RedState and X bringing you the truth. It's a question that I had not put too much thought into until recently, but in light of the revelations over the past year from DOGE, the current fraud investigations in Minnesota, Oregon, Maine, and California (and I hope that will soon expand to all 50 states), it really has struck me that a huge proportion of our economy is probably just money laudering. Of course, we all understood at some vague level that there had to be a large amount of money laundering going on. The illegal drug trade alone is worth hundreds of billions of dollars, and that is just one portion of a large black market.

It happened again. Another Democratic politician posed for a photo while attempting to cook meat on a grill. This time it was Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D., Va.) who tried to look normal by grilling a substance some claim was intended to represent "beef." The governor posted a photo of herself on X along with the caption "Order up!" and a steak emoji. Many remarked upon the hideous appearance of the alleged meat, as well as the deranged grin on Spanberger's face—the manic visage of an overmedicated wine mom about to mow down a rival's goldendoodle with her luxury SUV. It was a disastrous grill-related performance from the Democrats, but

A child crying as they receive vaccinations, comforted by an adult. The U.S. government is dismantling the legal foundation of numerous climate protection measures from the era of President Barack Obama. The economy is being freed from the shackles of CO2 fixation. For European businesses, this will soon translate into noticeably higher competitive pressure. February 12, 2026, marks the end of a political era in the United States. On Thursday, President Donald Trump, together with EPA administrator Lee Zeldin, repealed the so-called Endangerment Finding. This is one of the largest deregulation measures in recent U.S. history. Legally, the move primarily deregulates the EPA framework. It is not an executive order or a law passed by Congress.

One of the most visible actions after the U.S. Senate failed to pass the House version of a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security this week was Democrats swiftly hightailing it out of Washington, D.C., and heading to Europe for the 62nd Munich Security Conference. Senate Dems were not the only ones eagar to make an appearance at the yearly conference, though, and there's a simple reason for that. The city of Chicago exists on another plane of the universe than the rest of us. It's a place where up is down, black is white, and the basic laws of physics are held in abeyance so that when adding one plus one, any number that's convenient (and politically viable) can be the answer. In Chicago's budget, the "new physics" includes the caveat that nothing is real unless we (the aldermen and the city's hapless Mayor Brandon Johnson) say it is. And even then, nothing is permanent in this alternate plane of the universe. An equation that's "true" today may not be so "true" tomorrow. Do you think I'm being facetious?

Along with New York, it is a cornerstone state of the modern Democrat Party. Texas is the second most populous state and arguably the most Republican.
