The moguls’ effort, dubbed Building a Better California, points anew to state government’s failure to prioritize the public good over gluttonous special interests. It also affirms the need for Gov. The SEIU should be deemed a communist organization and banned from the United States. They are all Marxists. They prey upon the most vulnerable of workers, those making minimum wage, and steal union dues from those that can hardly afford their rent. They use the good intentions of people and turn it against them. The SEIU is only for its leaders, its members are soon forgotten once they win a unionization vote.

Unless they manage to remove and replace the Dem total control over the state, nothing that they want will happen. As I understand it, these "tech titans" all shoveled money to Dems for many years, as Dems destroyed the economy of the state. NOW, they see the light? I wonder.

Newsome and the SEIU don't care about California or its people. They care only for money and power. I had close dealings with the SEIU once, and I could barely stand the stench. They bamboozle the most vulnerable workers into "unionizing", then profit off the dues from folks making minimum wage while they do nothing for them. Broken promises are all they have to offer. The SEIU should be declared a terrorist organization.

Most rich people became rich because they were smart, worked hard, and understood their customers. The left wans everyone to believe that the rich either inherited their wealth or acquired it by ripping off the workers. Most of these leftists have never run a successful business in their lives.

Don’t count on California voters to stop this. Liberals love the idea of robbing the rich. They are incapable of understanding the consequences. Newsom will do his best to kill it. Not because he doesn’t love it. Because it would be the end of his Presidential ambitions. This is a direct attack on the people whose money he needs to run a campaign. It would also be constitutionally challenged in court and likely be killed off by the SC. Altogether an exercise in stupidity.

The Trump administration has quietly decided to allow employers to import 65,000 extra H-2B visa migrants for jobs that would otherwise pay decent wages to ordinary American who vote in the midterm elections. The visa giveaway is part of President Trump’s zig-zagging between the two sides of his coalition — the voters he needs on election day, and the business donors who provide the funds for political campaigns. Meanwhile, the national media is ignoring the visa giveaway to business because it is focused on the left-wing street groups who are trying to block the deportation of criminal and wage-cutting illegal migrants from Minneapolis.

Left-wing bias in education. It has been following my son through every school he has attended and has once again raised its ugly head at his current college in Bedfordshire. My son is currently studying three A-level subjects there, having joined in September last year. One of those subjects is A-level law – evidence-based, focusing on factual information without fear, favour or prejudice, right? Not quite, it seems. Although he has been at the college for less than a year, he (and we as parents) have noticed extreme Left-wing agendas and beliefs being pushed onto the students. Many, if not most, of the students either swallow it unthinkingly –

Public corruption charges tied to the governor’s inner circle. “Behested payments” to politicians’ pet causes and to charities run by their families. A recent and troubling example involves lobbyist Greg Campbell, who pleaded guilty to federal charges last December, and, allegedly, Dana Williamson, Governor Gavin Newsom’s former chief of staff. Both Campbell and Williamson were publicly celebrated for their political skills before their respective falls from grace.

Democrats in the Washington state legislature are pushing a proposal that establishes a list of demographic groups that are presumed to be “socially disadvantaged” for the purposes of state business certification. Based on the breadth of those categories, roughly 70 percent of Washington state residents would fall under the bill’s definition of “socially disadvantaged.” Under existing statute, the Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) defines a “socially disadvantaged individual” as someone who has experienced racial or ethnic prejudice or cultural bias within American society due to group identity, stemming from circumstances beyond the individual’s control. The agency may also determine social disadvantage on a case-by-case basis.

The board was established after the first phase of Trump’s 20-point peace plan to rehabilitate Gaza after Israel and Hamas reached a fragile ceasefire deal following two years of conflict that destroyed much of the territory’s infrastructure and killed tens of thousands of Palestinians. The Trump administration launched the board at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and issued invitations for 60 countries to join the board.
