I sure hope that guy with the fried chicken joint was able to hire a few American workers so he could stay open. Maybe he should just serve it raw like they do over in Somalia.

The Trump administration has quietly decided to allow employers to import 65,000 extra H-2B visa migrants for jobs that would otherwise pay decent wages to ordinary American who vote in the midterm elections. The visa giveaway is part of President Trump’s zig-zagging between the two sides of his coalition — the voters he needs on election day, and the business donors who provide the funds for political campaigns. Meanwhile, the national media is ignoring the visa giveaway to business because it is focused on the left-wing street groups who are trying to block the deportation of criminal and wage-cutting illegal migrants from Minneapolis.

There are now 650 fewer illegal aliens on the streets of West Virginia after federal officials partnered with state and local law enforcement to arrest them. Donald Trump threatened Monday to begin legal action against “loser” Trevor Noah after the comedian said the president visited convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s island and needs it again to “hang out” with Bill Clinton. The South African provided no evidence for the allegation which has been dismissed outright as a lie and fabrication by Trump. After congratulating Billie Eilish for winning the Grammy for Song of the Year for her track “Wildflower,” host Noah brought up his Trump and Epstein allegation. “Wow. That’s a Grammy that every artist wants — almost as much as Trump wants Greenland,” he quipped, referring to the president’s efforts regarding the Arctic territory.

Asked by reporters for his response to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's remarks, the US president seemed unfazed, asking: "Why wouldn't he say that? Of course, he could say that. "We have the biggest, most powerful ships in the world over there, very close, a couple of days "Hopefully, we'll make a deal. If we don't make a deal, we'll find out whether or not he was right." Left-Wing Bias in Education 5 replies

Left-wing bias in education. It has been following my son through every school he has attended and has once again raised its ugly head at his current college in Bedfordshire. My son is currently studying three A-level subjects there, having joined in September last year. One of those subjects is A-level law – evidence-based, focusing on factual information without fear, favour or prejudice, right? Not quite, it seems. Although he has been at the college for less than a year, he (and we as parents) have noticed extreme Left-wing agendas and beliefs being pushed onto the students. Many, if not most, of the students either swallow it unthinkingly –

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche just destroyed ABC's George Stephanopoulos during a contentious exchange on This Week, calling out the network for what he characterized as biased coverage protecting former CNN anchor Don Lemon following his arrest for involvement in storming a church service in St. Paul.It all started when Stephanopoulos asked when Blanche believed Lemon had crossed the line from journalism into criminal activity. Rather than taking the bait, Blanche immediately went on the offensive, pointing out a glaring omission in ABC's coverage. "Conveniently missing from what you just showed, George,

The Republican National Committee (RNC) enters the 2026 midterms in strong financial shape. The same cannot be said for the Democratic National Committee (DNC). According to a report from The New York Times, the DNC currently has $14 million on hand but is carrying $17.5 million in debt, leaving the party roughly $3.5 million in the red. Party leaders are said to be “privately alarmed” by the state of the finances.By contrast, the RNC is sitting on a $95.1 million war chest and reports no debt. Their report states: Without a president to headline events, the party that does not hold the White House often struggles to raise money in its main national committee.

Tech titans have mobilized against California’s proposed 5% billionaire tax —- and no wonder, as the tax could strip some of the state’s richest inventors of controlling interests in the companies they founded. The moguls’ effort, dubbed Building a Better California, points anew to state government’s failure to prioritize the public good over gluttonous special interests. It also affirms the need for Gov. Gavin Newsom and state legislators — and their voracious public union allies — to stop chasing wealth, jobs and people from the once-Golden State. Already, the proposed billionaire tax, led by SEIU United Healthcare Workers West, has caused a wealth and talent drain as Larry Page,

Somehow, the entertainment media has become even more hateful, bigoted, bubbled, elitist, dishonest, and useless than the corporate political media. Case in point… As of this writing, Melania, a documentary about First Lady Melania Trump, which has already taken the box office crown for the best documentary opening weekend in a decade, has a six percent rotten score over at Rotten Tomatoes. The Normal People score, however, sits at 98 percent fresh. That’s a 92 percent gap between Normal People and Corrupt Critics. It’s Saturday, and I got TV to watch, so I’m not going to do the research, but my memory tells me that is the biggest gap in the history of Rotten Tomatoes.

Sacramento is pervaded by a culture of corruption. Fake non-profit organizations that win public grants. So-called “infrastructure” projects that never get built, but always get funded. Public corruption charges tied to the governor’s inner circle. “Behested payments” to politicians’ pet causes and to charities run by their families. A recent and troubling example involves lobbyist Greg Campbell, who pleaded guilty to federal charges last December, and, allegedly, Dana Williamson, Governor Gavin Newsom’s former chief of staff. Both Campbell and Williamson were publicly celebrated for their political skills before their respective falls from grace.

California drivers and Republican legislators are furious over a Democrat-led proposal that could see motorists taxed for each mile they drive. With the state staring down a budget deficit in the billions and more Californians switching to electric vehicles, Democratic lawmakers are searching for new ways to shore up declining gas tax revenue. Californians pay the second-highest gas price in the nation behind only Hawaii. In January, the average price was $4.23 per gallon, according to the American Automobile Association. On Thursday, state legislators advanced Democrat Lori Wilson’s bill, AB 1421, which would direct the California Transportation Commission and the state Transportation Agency to continue studying options for a mileage-based tax,

Democrats in the Washington state legislature are pushing a proposal that establishes a list of demographic groups that are presumed to be “socially disadvantaged” for the purposes of state business certification. Based on the breadth of those categories, roughly 70 percent of Washington state residents would fall under the bill’s definition of “socially disadvantaged.” Under existing statute, the Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) defines a “socially disadvantaged individual” as someone who has experienced racial or ethnic prejudice or cultural bias within American society due to group identity, stemming from circumstances beyond the individual’s control. The agency may also determine social disadvantage on a case-by-case basis.

But as Bob Dylan famously observed, things have changed. On Jan. 8, GM announced it would take a $7.1 billion hit in charges against its earnings, of which $6 billion is due to Barra’s failed EV strategy. In a filing with the SEC, the company also warned that it would take more write-downs this year as part of a “strategic realignment of EV capacity.”

Spanberger won by double digits and most Virginians thought they were getting a slightly more liberal governor than her predecessor, Glenn Youngkin.
