America needs to hear ‘You’re fired!’

If the second Trump term turns out to be like “The Apprentice” without “You’re fired!” its ratings are going to resemble Joe Biden’s. That means needlessly big losses in the coming midterms, and an end to — or even reversal of — President Donald Trump’s agenda. President Biden never accepted blame for the Afghanistan debacle, for economic malaise and record inflation or any of his other disasters, such as the endless waves of illegal migrants waved into the country. i do not agree. If he fires Noem, then (i) the donkeys will turn next to another cabinet mmeber - there is no making peace with them or their puppet media so why sacrifice people, and (ii) the Senate will not confirm a replacement without requiring huge changes. Cabinet firings are not easy PR wins! No No. Noem was authentically dong what she thought the election pointed to, and Trump cah redirect that.

Ah NY Post, who created that buzzsaw? It wasn't ICE or DHS but the local and state "leaders" in Minneapolis and Minnesota. Yes, I do blame the victims. ICE agents were not running down Good or Pretti but had to engage with them when they INSERTED themselves into a federal law enforcement event that they should have stayed out of. Stand on the sidewalk and hold your placard and yell but do not interfere.

The NY Post has embarrassed themselves with this editorial. It claims that Trump is blaming the victims in Minneapolis. Who do they consider the victims? Walz and Frey? The paid insurrectionist protesters? Or how about the criminal illegal immigrants? The victims were the ICE agents who had to round these scum up with no police backup and zero cooperation from the State. Then they go on to demand that Trump fire someone. They don’t have the guts to name who this person should be. Or should it just be random? This is garbage.

What have Little Red Riding Hood, Jane Austen’s Emma and prison reformer Elizabeth Fry got in common? They are all female-coded ‘compassionate’ girls and women who can help us understand why young women are veering to the radical Left. The New Statesman has reported on this trend and the predilection of young women to support various perceived victim groups – trans rights and Palestinians, for example – even when these groups clash with their own interests. Explained as “suicidal empathy” by Gad Saad and the “hijacking” of instinctive female care for victims by Eric Kaufmann, the lurch to extreme Left-wing ideology by young women today deserves our full attention.

Bari Weiss — the young, dynamic new head honcho at CBS News — is not at all interested in being accepted by the lefty communist collective clique that has had a stranglehold on American mainstream media seemingly forever. That's what makes her story so interesting, fun to watch, and important. It wouldn't be odd if she was, mind you. Ms. Weiss is decidedly left-leaning in her politics. She is something that we don't see much of anymore, an iconoclast who broke away from the leftist hive mind and survived all subsequent cancel attempts from the bedwetters.

New York’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, is already discovering that governing can be a whole lot harder than campaigning — you actually have to manage a budget, deliver on services, and do so without alienating your key supporters and allies. The grinning socialist is realizing that he and the Big Apple are facing some serious fiscal issues, but he has three answers: 1) It’s all former Mayor Eric Adams' fault (with some help from disgraced former Empire State Governor Andrew Cuomo, and 2) Scare the heck out of everyone by saying we’re risking the next “Great Recession,”

Virginia is the epitome of a swing state, at least over the last few years. From far left Democrats to conservative Republicans and back again, the state seems to swing like an unlatched screen door in a hurricane. Now the state has gone from Glenn Youngkin to Abigail Spanberger, and with her comes a litany of anti-gun proposals that Democrats in the Old Dominion State have long wanted to implement. And as NRA executive director John Commerford notes, this marks a change in the Second Amendment in Virginia.

With voters “weary of soaring energy bills and annoyed by increasingly hysteric and patronising climate rhetoric”, governments from the US to UK, Germany to Australia are waking up to the “simple truth”: “aggressive Net Zero mandates are delivering economic pain for unmeasurable and far-off climate gain”. Lomborg senses “a new pragmatism” entering the climate debate
