The "Rose City Counter-Info" blog, focused mainly on Portland, Oregon, hosts numerous posts purporting to show immigration agents' home addresses, advocating for attacks on law enforcement infrastructure and taking credit for crimes (snip.) "We will prosecute those who dox[x] ICE law enforcement officers to the fullest extent of the law." DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told the DCN in June in response to a Rose City Counter-Info post doxxing three alleged ICE agents in Portland and Washington State.

It should be unacceptable for the federal government to continue to deploy ICE agents in masks that alienate and inflame large sectors of the public "to prevent doxxing" while failing to prosecute actual doxxers. There have been few or no prosecutions by U.S. Attorneys outside of Los Angeles. As this article documents, the mask mandate is not fit for purpose. Instead, doxxing must be countered with the certainty of prosecution.
