Indian illegal alien truck drivers aren't just killing Americans with their reckless driving; they're running drugs nationwide, too.
Gupreet Singh of Fresno, CA, and Jasveer Singh of Santa Clara, CA were arrested in Putnam County, Indiana on Saturday on a charge of dealing narcotics after over 300 pounds of cocaine were found in the sleeper berth of the semi tractor-trailer during a routine DOT inspection. Now those both those drugs and the truckers are off the street, and both Mr. Singhs are subject to ICE deportation holds.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is real, and it's infected the Democratic Party in ways that defy all understanding. One of the most TDS-afflicted Democrats is Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, who hasn't met an illegal immigrant he didn't want to have margaritas with, but who has scant time for the victims of Biden's open-borders policies, including Maryland mom Rachel Morin, who was raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant named Victor Martinez-Hernandez.
Like most of his fellow Democrats, Van Hollen is upset his communist comrade in Venezuela was deposed and captured by President Trump. Van Hollen issued a statement on X about it earlier on Saturday.

In a panic over the United States arresting Nicolás Maduro this weekend, Colombia's President Gustavo Petro and Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva called an emergency meeting of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) on Sunday, with the support of Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum.
For those who don't know, CELAC is an alternative to the Organization of American States (OAS) that includes 33 countries from the Caribbean and Latin America. Unlike OAS, it excludes the United States and Canada, citing a desire for regional autonomy.
Petro, Lula, and Sheinbaum had the idea that they were going to issue a CELAC communiqué

On June 21, 2020, Joe Biden posted the following on X:
Trump talks tough on Venezuela, but admires thugs and dictators like Nicolas Maduro. As President, I will stand with the Venezuelan people and for democracy.
Here's the actual post. [Tweet]
Let's just say that here we are five and a half years later, and that didn't age well. [Tweets]
The fact is that no one has been tougher on Nicolás Maduro than Donald Trump; even in the days leading up to Maduro's arrest on Saturday, the Trump administration had already:

Secretary of State Marco Rubio made the rounds on the Sunday shows this morning to talk about the recent developments in Venezuela, including the capture and arrest of Nicolás Maduro and what's next for Venezuela and for our involvement in this situation.
I'll be the first to admit that even I, who has never seen a Marco Rubio interview I didn't like, was a little frustrated with some of his answers, but I also recognize that this is kind of a sensitive situation, especially in the moment, and the secretary probably can't share too much just yet. I'm not usually a "trust your government kind of girl,"

The alleged truck driver behind a fatal two-car accident in Virginia that left three people dead was identified as a legalized migrant.
Fox News’s Bill Melugin reported that a “federal law enforcement source” told him that the driver of a tractor-trailer, El Hadji Karamoko Quattara, 58, is a “naturalized U.S. citizen from the Ivory Coast.”
Melugin added that he “had been in the U.S. illegally in the 90s,” but later got a green card before becoming “a naturalized U.S. citizen.”
“I’m told by a federal law enforcement source that this man is a naturalized U.S. citizen from the Ivory Coast who, at one point, had been in the U.S. illegally in the 90s,

A batch of just-released text messages and other communications between California officials and the Los Angeles Fire Department from the run-up to the Pacific Palisades Fire reveals a system more concerned with a few endangered plants than with massive destruction and death.
Twelve people died in the fires during three weeks of January 2025, with 6,837 structures destroyed (and another thousand or so damaged), more than 23,000 acres burned, and total damages currently estimated at about $25 billion with a B in the Palisades, Topanga, and Malibu areas of Los Angeles County.

Trump White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been keeping one heck of a secret for the past few months: she's expecting a baby girl in May of 2026. Leavitt, 28, made the announcement on Friday, saying she was "thrilled" about growing her family with husband, Nick Riccio, 60, and commenting that motherhood was "the closest thing to Heaven on Earth." The couple welcomed their first child, son Niko, in July 2024.
"My husband and I are thrilled to grow our family and can’t wait to watch our son become a big brother," Leavitt wrote in a post on her personal Instagram account. "My heart is overflowing with gratitude to God

President Donald Trump had some fun talking with kids on the traditional, Christmas Eve NORAD Santa Claus hotline this week. While he joked that they were tracking Santa's movements, he assured the kids that Santa was good. (Snip) But it turns out that 'Santa' did have a little bit of a run-in with the cops when he was going through Ohio with Mrs. Claus. Sgt. Mark Robinson with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office thought that Santa was going a bit too fast, so he pulled him over. However, when he realized it was Santa, he just couldn't help but find the humor in it,

Christmas will be extra special this year for a Texas family who will be bringing their daughter home from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) after more than 300 days.
Luis Torres and Jacklynn Peralta will be bringing home their daughter, Kamillia Peralta, who has been in the NICU since she was born at 35 weeks with an omphalocele, according to KSAT News. Kamillia Peralta was in the NICU at St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas for 305 days.
Kamillia Peralta “was born with an Omphalocele, a congenital defect that caused some of her internal organs to develop outside her abdomen,” according to the outlet.

Consider this a Feel-Good Wednesday story in honor of Christmas Eve, and a testament to a private enterprise that honors and appreciates its customers.
H-E-B is a regional grocery chain headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. In 2025, H-E-B ranked the 5th-largest private company in the U.S. with annual revenues of $49.57 billion. Not too shabby for a concern that only covers parts of Texas and Mexico. This 120-year-old grocer has obviously tapped into their market and found success with their model, but this Christmas, they also tapped into the heart of service in a big way.
On Tuesday, at an H-E-B location in Burleson, TX, the computer system went completely down;

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass was buried under backlash after a tone-deaf post lamenting the “most vulnerable” illegal aliens in her community.
The Democrat’s post on social media last week touted a holiday donation drive for families not feeling “safe” in the California city, and it generated criticism on X that continued to reverberate for days.
“For many immigrant families, this holiday season is marked by absence and fear. Loved ones are missing due to immigration enforcement actions, and many families do not feel safe leaving their homes to participate in holiday traditions,” Bass wrote in the post, accompanied by photos from the toy drive.
