On the first day of Hanukkah, 2025, the world witnessed another needless, avoidable tragedy — this time an Islamic mass shooting, which erupted on the coast of Bondi Beach, Australia.
Twenty-two lives were gunned down mercilessly by a father-son duo of destruction, radical militants who had immigrated to the Land Down Under not looking for a better life, but committed to taking others in the furtherance of jihad.
Both tragic and outrageous, Western leaders have been welcoming a massive invasion of violent third-world peasants with no interest in integrating into their host countries.

For years, we have been writing about the fact that China’s dominance of critical mineral mining and, especially, processing is a threat to our national security. It is also a scandal: we have plenty of minerals in the U.S., but we don’t mine them–or, at least, we don’t develop new mines to take advantage of our resources. Because environmentalists–the Democratic Party–won’t allow it. Thus, we have abdicated control over our economy and our children’s future to the Chinese Communist Party.

As RedState's Katie Jerkovich reported just a few weeks back, the White House announced that The Kennedy Center would officially be rebranded as The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts – or the Trump-Kennedy Center for short – after its board of trustees voted to rename it. The move came after Trump and Ric Grenell, Trump's handpicked interim president of the storied performing arts center, have spent much of 2025 working to modernize and upgrade the facility and its offerings.
If there's one thing the fraud scandals in Minnesota have affirmed for us beyond how deep the fraud and corruption go in the Democrat-run state, it's how utterly rotten to the core the corporate media industrial complex truly is.
Oh, they'll be quick to tell you how much "reporting" they've done on some of the scandals, some of which date back several years. But what they'll leave out is that in most cases it was either bare minimum reporting, stories that came in response to investigative digging done by others, or reporting designed to discredit the accusers and cast doubt on the allegations against the Somali community and their Democrat

In terms of the laws of physics and economics, hybrid vehicles make much more sense than pure battery-powered cars. And unlike EVs, they have found a viable market niche. But data from the U.K. suggest that hybrids are unusually dangerous. From the London Times: “Fatal crash risk ‘three times higher’ in hybrid cars than petrol.”
Motorists in hybrid cars are substantially more likely to die in road collisions than those in conventional petrol vehicles, according to statistics from the Department for Transport.

The culture wars are raging, but on at least one front the forces of good are winning. The “trans” ideology is crumbling fast. The latest evidence is this piece in Newsweek, written by two of the authors of the Department of Health and Human Services’ recent paper, “Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria: Review of Evidence and Best Practices.”
The authors begin with a ritual denunciation of HHS and an assurance that “we, along with most of the other authors, are liberals.” But they go on to break the news to their fellow lefties:

I came of age during the beginning of the Disco era. I bought Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” (1978) as a single and subsequently the album Love Tracks, on which it is found. I still have both.
Even if you weren’t there, like me, at the beginning when disco music went from being played exclusively in the underground gay and black clubs to being listened to and played by the mainstream media, most, if not all of us, know the song.

With the arrest of Nick Reiner for the alleged murder of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michelle Singer, commentators have taken to simultaneously pitying the accused for his mental illness while condemning him for his evil actions.
This is logically contradictory.
On the one hand, if it is illness that explains why Nick Reiner committed a crime, then he cannot be held morally responsible for his actions. It is just to hold him morally responsible for his actions only if he could have chosen, on the basis of reasons, not impulses or compulsions, to have done other than what he allegedly did.

Mali and Burkina Faso have said they are imposing a travel ban on US citizens in response to an equivalent measure announced by the Trump administration earlier this month. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy hammered California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) on Tuesday, accusing him of lying about a supposed extension for revoking thousands of commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) issued to non-citizens.
Duffy has long been trying to crack down on the practice of issuing CDLs to truckers who, at times, struggle to understand English or read basic road signs. As common sense would dictate, having such drivers on the road is a dangerous (and sometimes deadly) proposition.

Terrifying footage from a southern Nevada home surveillance video shows the moment a car crashes through a backyard wall, goes airborne and ejects the driver into a private swimming pool.
The incident happened late Dec. 15 in Laughlin, according to FOX 5 Las Vegas. According to police and a crash report seen by the outlet, the driver was allegedly speeding moments before failing to stop and slammed into and through the concrete wall.
Footage also shows the impact sending the white vehicle rotating through the air in the dark.
