Charlie Kirk was a one-off, it seems. His assassination and the turning over of TPUSA to his wife Erika may prove that his legacy handoff is more than she is able to effectively manage. So much of what I saw at this week’s Am Fest triggered by Tucker Carlson (and Jack Posobiec’s cosplaying Jesus Christ Superstar while posting with a disgusting anti-Semite) undercuts -- indeed denigrates -- what Charlie and TPUSA once stood for. While Vice President J.D. Vance used his opportunity there to respond to groyper Nick Fuentes’ attacks on his charming wife Usha,

Clarice is normally spot on! I hope her take on these latest developments are not quite as dire as she portrays! The Fuentes and Roberts debacles seem more like Democrap subversion. How did any antisemite ever even join Conservatives let alone gain positions of influence?

Here we go again, another word that shuts down the entire thing. It used to be racist, homophobe, transphobe misogynist or whatever overused word made the entire article null and void. Now we have anti-semite. If one has to blindly approve of everything Israel does to avoid that label, I guess I'll accept that label too. Nobody is above criticism, not even the holy and virtuous perfection that is Israel.

Conservatives don’t agree with the idea that diversity is strength. We seek a line consistency, based on reason, faith, history, the constitution. Liberals are based on feelings, and tolerate inconsistencies. They don’t think in straight lines. If it feels good, do it. Do what you will, even if it’s misguided nonsense. They take that as a license to stand up for gays in Palestine, for hardworking people to support the lazy, they demand we support corrupt countries like Venezuela and Honduras, run by oligarchies rather than emerging democracies like Hungary and Poland. They think a society can support trans and LGBT ideology, without considering instability it creates. Welcome to the New Brave New World.

I firmly believe that the bedrock of TPUSA was Charlies one on one with young people at various venues. Looking a questionnaire in the eye and debating issues was what made Charlie what he was. Greeting supporters in a 30,000 seat auditorium will not prolong the idea that was Kirk. I don't know if there is an individual in that organization capable of duplicating Charlies talent for discourse. I would hope there is because we, the United States, need people like that in order to survive.

Clarice woke up with a big burr under her saddle. Hopefully she will get things back in sync. Much of the world has hated Jews, especially since the Nazi propaganda machine did such an effective job of disparaging them to deflect their own evil but Israel's success in the Middle East keeps the Arabs in a permanent snit. It's something that the world will have to fight for a long time and one or two people with twisted minds will not make much of a difference. Erika may not have Charlie's fiery personality but she is a good person who is doing the right things.

#2...The most criticized people/nation on this planet from the highest pulpits to the lowest street thug is Israel. They are not above reproach or cause of guilt. The following praise from those people for muslim woes caused by muslims themselves yet pointed at the tiny nation of Israel combined with any lunatic comparison of Israel democratic government to the islamist is pure willful ignorance. Or maybe just maybe anti -semitism.

Good grief! Some people just won't allow that any org that loses it's amazing leader will necessarily take a bit to reset & recover. Of course no can can 'replace' Charlie. No one can replace any one of us. Give it a bit of time. That doesn't mean that TPUSA should be shuttered--though clearly some would welcome that. Gracious, some people are impatient. Instead of being Debbie Downers, let's look for the lights and those who have been toiling in the shadows heretofore. They're there. Maybe go back and read "An Army of Davids". Encourage them. Encourage Erika, Jack, JD and those like Nick Shirley.

Reading this, I'm thinking that Clarice may have been too emotionally invested in TPUSA and Heritage. I know little about both, admire what they have done that was good, but know that the Second Law of Thermodynamics applies to, well, everything. With that said, if Tucker/Candace/Roberts have picked up an RFK Jr. style brain parasite, confront them and challenge them to change and, failing that, drop them like the distractions and impediments that they are. And if Fuentes is a royal rectal orfice... denounce and move on. What I saw in the last few days was a lower inflation rate, a big (starting) drop in federal employment which leads to a big drop in the size of the deficit. Significant? I think a great amount of the GDP 'growth' under Biden was that huge pile of deficit spending. That's being reversed but, Boy Howdy, the GDP was up 4.3%? In spite of that? Doggone, bro. Pour me some more egg nog and don't spare the Evan Williams. And there are ripples from the acknowledgement that 315k votes were certified out of stupidity or.... wait. ALL in Fulton County? Yeah. Fraud. Rudy Guiliani call your broker. I think you are going to get a refund. Lastly, we have been watching the slow moving genocide of Christians in Nigeria. Looks like something will be happening there... and it will be good. Lastly, I read the Bible and it is constantly being proven accurate as archeology advances. So I believe that God chose the Jews. They're his people. If I'm going to be Christian, they're mine, too. I bought a (hahah) LED menorah last week. I'll put it up next year where it can be seen by all. Maybe I'll even get a mezzuzah for the front door. That's my response.

I have no judgement, good or bad, on Erika as of yet. I can say that the two guys who took over the Charlie Kirk Show on Real America’s Voice are awful, often saying things that directly contradict what Charlie Kirk stood for and advocated. It’s a real shame. Reminds me of Clay & Buck taking over for Rush Limbaugh. Not even close.

While I may not totally agree with Clarice's opinions here, one thing I will say about those of us on the right and conservative side is when one of us is in the wrong, we're willing to call our colleagues out about it. If you're a liberal Democrat, you can be an anti-Semite, pro-drug runners, pro-criminals, and wishing death on your opponents and their infant children. Heck, you can even be elected Attorney General of Virginia for that last one. While we can have disagreements, and there certainly are areas for reasonable people to disagree, there are some lines that we shouldn't cross. Clarice may draw that line a little more tightly than others, but that's okay, too.

#8 is certainly right about the Heritage Foundation chasing $$$. It seems that not a day goes by without something from HF appearing in my mailbox. I no longer even bother to open the envelope; it goes straight to the trash. Concerning Erika, it's only been 3 and a half months since she and we have lost Charlie and I'm sure her grief is still extreme. Additionally, she has two small children who probably still wonder why their dad isn't home with them and they look to her for an explanation. Charlie chose her to lead TPUSA and he knew her better than anyone. IMO, this isn't the time to criticize her for the way things are currently being handled. Let her have some peace and time to become acclimated to her new role.

I want to know what Nick Fuentes thinks. I want to know what Candace Owens thinks. I want to know what Tucker thinks. But more importantly, I want to know why they think what they are thinking. And then I want to hear the logical replies (from people like Claire) to what they are thinking. I do not need to hear names. I don't care about the labels. Just a lot of screeching from both sides. How about "Tucker why did you say .......? Or why would you say? Then discuss. Sorta like what Charlie Kirk did. Is there some validity in the view that some Jews want to take over the world? Sure, just like some Baptists, Catholics, Atheists, Capitalists, Communists, Muslims, Anarchists, ....... in other words, some people. Are the Jews better organized and more effective at it? That's arguable. Sometime it seems so. And sometimes it results in others killing many of them. Question Nick, Candace, Tucker, if you disagree, refute their arguments.. Screeching "anti-semite" ........... Or "I quit because you did not immediately attack someone espousing an idea I disagree with" are not useful in my view.

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a very merry Christmas. That is if you believe murdering Ukrainian civilians is a way to spend a holy day. Five more were killed Christmas Day. Boxing Day was no different. In Kharkiv, two people were killed and three more injured. One of the badly wounded — only hours after celebrating her first Yuletide — was a 9-month-old girl. Putin has now murdered more than 677 Ukrainian children and wounded another 2,310, per Ukraine’s prosecutor-general office. Need perspective? That’s the equivalent of six-plus average American elementary schools.

A key GOP senator is expressing optimism that Republicans and Democrats will agree to a deal that would extend expiring health care subsidies, but the effort faces an uphill climb in winning the backing of leaders in both parties. Without a deal, health insurance premiums are projected to spike by double digits next month, yet Senate leaders John Thune (R-S.D.) and Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) each have reasons to shy away from backing a bipartisan deal. At the same time, failure to pass a bipartisan deal to rein in rising premiums could set the stage for another government -

The bold move signals a sharp and definitive break from years of deference—and even subservience—to Brussels’ ever-increasing, draconian regulatory ambitions. Secretary of State Marco Rubio rightly framed the action as a defense of American free speech against what he described as organized, ideological pressure from abroad.
