FRTA In 2020, Maduro and 14 other Venezuelan officials were charged with narco-terrorism, corruption, drug trafficking and other charges in New York City, Miami, and Washington, D.C. ****** Jonathan Turley reporteed on Fox that this 2020 indictment was the hasis for what he desdribed as "the snatch and grab of an indicted criminal". Turley further added that Maduro was hot an elected head of state so has no immunity.

Heh. Maduro is charged with a bunch of drug related offenses is all well and good. However, if there is any possibility Maduro could spill the beans about the 2020 election being stolen, some of the Americans he may have dealt with to throw that election might not take kindly to him still walking and talking, especially someone like say Hillary? Not the best of news for Maduro or his wife.

Not a lot of info about the wife's role in all this. She is being charged with the same crimes as her husband, but few details on her actions. Am reminded of Lorraine Bracco's role in Good Fellows. When her husband was arrested she said repeatedly "I don't know anything!".

The legacy media have been viscerally angry over President Trump and the United States daring to conduct a successful law enforcement operation resulting in the arrest of socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. So, naturally, Margaret Brennan of CBS’s "Face the Nation" wanted to know why they hadn't made more arrests. There's just no winning with these people. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in an appearance with Brennan on Sunday morning, nearly had to stifle laughter as he pointed out how "absurd" the premise of the argument was. The host wondered why others, such as Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello and Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez, hadn't been swept up

It's official. Minnesota's scandal-plagued Democrat governor, Tim Walz, will not be seeking reelection. RedState's Rusty Weiss reported earlier Monday morning that rumors were swirling of an imminent Walz announcement, with pundits speculating that Walz's political future was indeed bleak after the massive fraud scandal involving the state's Somali community was blown wide open. From Rusty's reporting: Walz has been reeling for weeks now from ongoing fraud probes plaguing Minnesota's social services programs. That alleged fraud exploded after a viral video, extensively covered here at RedState, reportedly showed empty "daycare" facilities with misspelled signs, locked doors, and no trace of children.

I was inspired to write this by a more than routinely interesting article by Wayne Root, “Trump Brings Back Maduro to USA. Why? It impelled me to talk about some things I have mainly kept on the down low, including the story of why I resigned from The Epoch Times, and how a recent book of mine had to be printed twice, and why that might relate to the secrets of dictators. Mr. Root writes of several things, which you should read at the link, but what most caught my attention was this: “Was this strike

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has called a press conference at 11:00 a.m. (Central) this morning. He has not specified the subject. Those usually in the know speculate that he will announce the abandonment of his campaign for reelection to a third term despite the stellar job he has done, at least by his own lights. Walz is guilty of an old-fashioned kind of political corruption magnified to the nth degree by an absurdly creative welfare state. He has compiled the worst record of any governor in the history of Minnesota. It has surpassed his ability to talk his way out of it in his accusomed Joe Isuzu style. He should ride

My family plays a regular Dungeons & Dragons game, which I’ve referenced before in A Knight’s Tale. For those who have never played, D&D is essentially a shared story constrained by rules, terrific fun for people who enjoy storytelling. In our game, we kept running into cultists devoted to Orcus, a demon king. Eventually, it became clear that something more ambitious was going on. These cultists were not merely serving a powerful demon. They were advancing his attempt to become something more. Alongside Orcus the demon existed Orcus the Roman god, a judge of the dead associated with oaths, punishment, and the underworld. By infiltrating temples meant for the god,

Christmas week was rather a slow week, with the big news being the further unraveling of the corruption in Minnesota, Washington state, California, and other Democrat redoubts. But like George Washington crossing the Delaware to beat the Hessians as they rested on Christmas, the U.S. pulled off an incredible military operation capturing Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro in his pajamas and bringing him back here to answer to criminal charges. The Venezuelan military was largely on Christmas leave and Maduro’s international protectors --- the Chinese and Russian forces in Venezuela -- were caught flatfooted, diminishing their credibility in the Western Hemisphere. The impact of this operation was enormous.

Jack Smith, the special prosecutor who attempted to put President Trump in prison for acknowledging that the 2020 election was tainted by fraud, testified before the House Judiciary Committee the week before Christmas. Here are the video and transcript of his deposition. Smith’s testimony is disturbing because his argument in favor of prosecuting the president boils down to this: (1) Every sensible person knows that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. (2) For President Trump to pretend otherwise reveals that he is knowingly telling a “lie.” (3) By using this “lie” to undermine the 2020 election results, Trump committed fraud against the U.S. government

Public education has been undergoing a type of ideological and administrative mutilation for many decades. Under the guise of new educational paradigms that will supposedly both increasingly democratize education and improve learning, we see in the schools a collapse in student cooperation, an increase in violence and disruptive behaviors, a decline in academic achievement, and an increase in teacher turnover. We have seen a shift away from individual work to cooperative learning where students work together in groups. “Learning together” is a mantra opposed to classical individual learning and individual responsibility. Other strategies intended to motivate students

It is no secret that the Democrats, and many Republicans!, aggressively blocked President Trump’s desire to protect the American people and build a border wall on the southern border with Mexico during his first term. Kids are arriving on college campuses with fewer skills and diminished attention spans. But, rather than challenge students, many colleges are lowering institutional standards to accommodate them. Colleges around the country have English courses that require students to read a single book all semester. Ivy League schools are rolling out remedial math classes. And some schools are teaching kids skills as basic as structuring sentences. Colleges surely have a challenge on their hands as high schools graduate less distinguished classes, but lowering the bar is the sort of coddling that keeps kids from reaching their potential. College is meant to stretch you to your intellectual max. It’s not a time for hand-holding.
