Judge Stuns D.C. With Ruling on James
Comey, Letitia James

Original Article

It’s another day ending in “y,” so it’s another day when a federal judge jumps in to thwart the Trump administration. On Monday, Judge Cameron McGowan Currie tossed the cases against Former FBI Director James Comey and current New York Attorney General Letitia James, ruling that Attorney General Pam Bondi's appointment of Lindsey Halligan as interim U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia was invalid. The Department of Justice is almost certain to appeal the ruling. Meanwhile, the case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning the charges could still be refiled, although in the case of Comey, that may be in doubt given that the statute of limitations has since run.

Another Democrat Judge, appointed by Bill Clinton, so what would you expect? They say it’s possible that the Clintons will not comply with a congressional subpoena and if so with be referred to the Department of Justice for prosecution. If that happens look for the Democrats to arrange for this Judge to handle those cases. If not, look for the Democrats to arrange for another Democrat nominated Judge to handle the cases. Then guess what will happen?

I am giving up hope on justice in this country. Even the Dems have to know Comey is guilty but he is one of theirs so they find another liberal judge to thwart a case against the despicable Comey and Tish James. He will have to answer for his corruption in the hereafter. I just wish he would have to pay for it in this life.

This stinks. The case is in a Federal court in the Eastern District of Virginia. Cameron McGowan Currie was nominated by President Bill Clinton and confirmed by the Senate to a Federal judgeship in the District of South Carolina. Furthermore she retired over a decade ago (in 2013) and assumed "senior status," meaning that she retained her full pay but can be assigned cases which she is entirely free to accept or reject. (Senior Judges are the most imperial of the imperial judiciary.) Judge Currie was assigned this case by Circuit Judge Albert Diaz, an Obama Judge. There are a number of issues here that cry out for congressional review and corrective legislation: (1) the judiciary outrageously purporting to overrule an Executive Branch personnel decision by the President (in New Jersey a different Circuit even purported to dictate who should serve as an interim US Attorney; (2) the questionable "senior judge status" which from coast to coast has created a de facto "reserve" available as needed by the Resistance Judiciary; and (3) the suspicious assignment of a Clinton Judge by an Obama Judge to a politically charged case. (At least this wasn't a ruling by a magistrate, a separate scandal.) The Federal Ninth Circuit is jokingly referred to a the "Ninth Circus" but it is merely one "ring" in the national judicial circus Chief Justice John Roberts has allowed to develop.

Just wondering - - is there a limit on the number of times this sort of thing has to happen before “D.C.” is no longer “stunned” by it? The rest of the country came to expect it ages ago. Once D.C. gets over its shock, many of the rest of us would like it to be corrected. Sad to say, we would be stunned and shocked if that were to happen, and not at all surprised if it doesn’t.

This was a first year law student error on the part of Pam Bondi's DOJ. However, the judge is a magistrate judge, and he might be overturned on appeal. If not, Pam Bondi might be able to re- file charges. The underlying problem, is the blue paper hold on federal attorneys, along with filibusters. It is time to get rid of both. And one more suggestion - call Comey back to testify before congress. And trrey the morbidly obese NY AG separately on each act of mortgage fraud.

Though trump is not charged, is not a witness, has no part in the case, even though he IS the primary victim. I expect her determination of the legality of the appointment will be revered by a higher court, then she will have to start over...or have it assigned to a different judge.

I'd like to blame the judge for all the reasons stated but what the court said was that AG Bondi blew it and the appointed prosecutor did not know any better either. Inexperience and ignorance has caused many a fall, but so has political appoints of the unqualified. it may also be the politicking of the persons involved. Hack judges just require the lawyers to up their games or lose. They are not an excuse for losing. Bondi blew this. I don't know what was on her minds but the improper appointment is entirely on her. This case was a loaded gun and Bondi and her ill-prepared, and maybe ill experienced (maybe a DEI appt.), choice allowed the judge to pull the trigger. Some of those old, old, judges are tough old birds and they don't waste time. Some someone inexperienced or unprepared - sloppy work - and they'll kick them to the curb before they can say, "If it pleases the court." It's interesting to note that this failure keeps Bondi's record of doing nothing intact.

Once again, the charges are ignored and the perps, Comey and James, get their cases dismissed on a technicality. The technicality in this case, is the result of silly Senate rules relating to Prosecuting Attorney nominations and time until confirmation. The Senate needs to get rid of archaic rules preventing one or two Senators from holding up confirmation votes (blue slips). Democrats have been using blue slips like some sort of anti Trump game and Republicans just play along.

Legal scholars claim that Bondi is right and I tend to agree. Biden or his Autopen controlled the DOJ for four years with an endless, illegal attack against Donald Trump. He is the Commander in Chief and has the authority to have anybody arrested. This judge should be arrested for malpractice since both Comey and Fattisha both have a pile of evidence backing their crimes and She has no reason to stop the process other than the mental illness of TDS. The DOJ now has six months to go after them again. Comey's statute of limitations has no impact.

I predict this leftist partisan hack-tivist Judge will be overturned at the Appeals Court. It won't make it to the Supreme Court for correction, since even the Court of Appeals won't want another "overturn" on their record. Speaking of which, whenever a Judge's rulings are overturned, why can't we have a system wherein the overturned Judge MUST attend a special court tribunal with the next higher Judges, during which the overturned Judge must is grilled on questions of the Constitution, Federal Statutes, etc. to determine their fitness to sit on the Bench. If they fail review, they're FIRED. If they're called to attend X number of these "sessions," they're FIRED. How else do we get rid of these vile hack-tivist Judges , unless by this mechanism? The normal "Impeach & Remove" procedure is a political endeavor that can turn against the minority Party at any time, but forcing the Courts to clean up their own ranks would have "Judicial authority" behind it first, but with a Legislative "bite," if they fail to address these matters on a constant basis. Start with the "most overturned" Judges in each jurisdiction first, until they've all be interviewed and removed, as required.

In a footnote, Currie indicated that the Justice Department could not bring a similar indictment against him. Last week a radio host in Salt Lake City asked me a question I didn’t expect. We’d been talking about my “jobs Americans won’t do” article, which kind of kicked the anthill, and everything stayed within the usual lanes: illegal immigration, wages, hiring incentives, hollowed-out towns. Then, at the very end, he asked the only question that really matters: “So how do we fix it?” Not describe it or rant about it. Fix it. My answer, essentially, was, "It's complicated." There isn’t a bumper-sticker answer. And there certainly isn’t a partisan one. The problem goes much deeper than illegal immigration, though illegal immigration made it far worse. Ads circulated by Philadelphia-area religious institutions are promoting Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s upcoming participation in a Thanksgiving interfaith event this Tuesday featuring extreme anti-Israel Imam Basheer Bilaal. This controversial gathering, hosted by the Old York Road Temple Beth Am Jewish center, comes on the heels of Shapiro’s $5 million grant to a mosque with a documented record of anti-Semitism – raising serious questions about his judgment and the message he is sending through his radical Muslim alliances. Who Is Basheer Bilaal? Basheer Bilaal is the resident imam of the Muslim Society of Delaware Valley (MSDV), which oversees the Islamic

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicted the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season was going to be above normal. With less than a week left in the season, how has the forecast panned out? It was off by a bit – the storms didn’t develop as predicted, even though we’ve been told for decades that man-caused global warming was going to bring stronger and more frequent storms. In May, NOAA’s forecast called for a 60% chance of an above-normal season, a 30% chance we would see a near-normal season and only a 10% chance that activity would be below normal.

Something stinks in Medford. Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn is racking up do-gooder awards for her environmental crusading, but some elected officials and residents of the Boston suburb are less impressed with her latest effort that will soon see trash pickup reduced to once every two weeks. The new plan, which will see residents’ 64-gallon trash bins collected half as frequently, was announced in tandem with the news that Medford had received a $200,000 “Pay As You Throw” grant from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. “We made a commitment to Zero Waste in that plan and are making it easier for Medford residents and businesses

MELBOURNE, Australia — A man who set fire to a Melbourne synagogue while worshippers were inside was motivated by mental illness rather than antisemitism, an Australian magistrate said on Monday. A v, 35, had pleaded guilty to arson and recklessly placing people at risk of death on July 4 when he doused the front door of the East Melbourne Synagogue with flammable liquid and ignited it. Around 20 worshippers were inside sharing a Shabbat meal, but no one was injured.

The only thing worse than a liar is a liar that’s also a hypocrite! —Tennessee Williams, The Rose Tattoo Question for the audience: If you asked Tucker Carlson if the United States of America should offer Israel an ironclad, open-and-shut, unequivocal war guarantee, how would he respond? You have three options: Option One: “Why, sure! What a wonderful idea! Israel is America’s ally. Hey, what’s the worst that could happen?” Option Two: “Hmm, let me think about it and get back to you.” Option Three: “Absolutely NOT, you anti-American, Israel-first, disloyal neocon! No more forever wars! No more AIPAC influence! No more Middle East entanglements! It’s not in our national interest, you warmonger! For the

Members of the House will soon have access to up to $20,000 a month to pay for personal security while they’re off the Hill — doubling the monthly amount currently available — and access to a mobile duress system, according to the House sergeant-at-arms. Sergeant-at-Arms William McFarland announced the enhancements Monday in a “Dear Colleague” letter. The additional funds will be available Dec. 1 and will allow members to hire security personnel or companies for personal protection. It comes at a time of heightened threats and rising tensions over security for members of Congress. “Covered services include accompanying a Member or providing residential coverage at a member’s home,” McFarland wrote

On Friday, the GOP-controlled House of Representatives did what many thought was unthinkable. In what can only be described as a stunning act of bravery, these bold Republicans - wait for it - passed a resolution that condemns socialism. The entire charade was like watching Olivia Nuzzi try to dish out marital advice. Consider that many of the same Republicans who enthusiastically voted to condemn socialism have had no problem bankrolling Obamacare, programs like SNAP, and every wallet-sucking entitlement program — all with zero intention of reforming or gutting any of them. It’s as ironic as it is comical.

Meta knowingly downplayed the addictive nature of social media products that its own researchers privately compared to drugs as part of a broader effort to conceal the impacts of its platforms on teenage mental health, according to an explosive new court filing. The brief was filed as part of a years-old lawsuit brought by school districts across the country alleging that social media companies including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and Snap knowingly designed products that would addict teenagers and otherwise harm their mental health. A judge ordered the 5,807 page filing to be declassified on October 30.
