Judge Orders Unprecedented Release in
Comey Case

Original Article

Posted By: earlybird, 11/23/2025 12:17:41 PM

A federal judge ordered the Department of Justice to release grand jury documents to attorneys working for former FBI Director James Comey. “[T]he Court finds the record in this case requires the full disclosure of grand jury materials,” wrote U.S. Magistrate Judge William Fitzpatrick. He argued that “government misconduct may have tainted the grand jury proceedings,” and as a result, “disclosure of grand jury materials under these unique circumstances is necessary to fully protect the rights of the accused.” Fitzpatrick noted that the decision is an “extraordinary remedy.”

Comments:

A previous article said it was the magistrate judge who messed up after one charge of the three was rejected and removed.

A Magistrate judge. Just like the the Inferior Court Black Robed Insurrectionist that granted the raid warrant on Trump's home. Not even a confirmed judge. One picked by the Turbo Insurrectionist DC Circus panel of judges. Only goes to show that there is no privilege, no precedent, or rule of law that the Judicial Branch Inferior Court Black Robed Insurrectionist will honor. Congress should pass a law that all Inferior Court Black Robed Insurrectionist must, at all times, wear an armband with bananas on it so the country will know who could care less about the rule of law and the constitution.

This might be a case of "be careful, judge, what you wish for". If all the grand jury info is released, it might show the living-brain world how far Saint Comey went to stab Trump in the back.

#1 is mostly correct. a federal magistrate judge us voted on by fellow attorneys, and approved by the circuit court. Some magistrate judges go on to regular judge appointments. And strange things happen. Susan Paradise Baxter was a federal magistrate in western pennsylvania and a vocal Hillary Clinton supporter. Yet she was nominated by DJTduring his first term and confirmed as a federal district court judge.

Kennedy Center president Ric Grenell and Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island are clashing over the center's spending and operations records, after Trump allies were appointed to key roles at the Kennedy Center earlier this year, and President Trump was elected chairman of the board. In a letter to Grenell, Whitehouse said that under Grenell's stewardship, "The Center is being looted to the tune of millions of dollars in foregone revenue, cancelled programming, unpaid use of its facilities, and wasteful spending on luxury restaurants and hotels." He called it "an unprecedented pattern of self-dealing, favoritism, and waste."

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia announced on X Friday she will resign from Congress early next year, after a weekslong falling-out with President Trump and much of her party. Her last day will be Jan. 5, 2026, Greene said. In a statement, the hard-right congresswoman expressed frustration with her party and with the change of pace in Congress, writing that GOP leadership had refused to work on addressing health care costs, and bills that she drafted on immigration and other issues had sat "collecting dust." She said the "legislature has been mostly sidelined."

Earlier this week, the American people were “reliably” informed by the left-wing press that the full grand jury that indicted disgraced former FBI Director James Comey did not see the final indictment. “Judge grills government over apparent lapses in Comey indictment,” ABC News’ Peter Charalambous, Alexander Mallin, Katherine Faulders, and Nicholas Kerr wrote on November 19. According to the quartet, U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan “told a judge … that the full grand jury that indicted Comey did not see the final indictment — only the foreperson and another grand juror did.” (snip)The only problem? It’s not true.

A bicameral group of Republicans in Congress is grilling James Boasberg, the U.S. district chief judge for Washington, D.C., on his decision to allow lawfare activist Jack Smith to spy on the Senate, offering him the “opportunity to explain yourself publicly” for a decision that almost certainly violated federal law. As The Federalist reported, Boasberg approved a scheme under the Department of Justice’s Arctic Frost weaponization against Republicans in which Smith could subpoena the phone records of House and Senate Republicans and attach a nondisclosure order (NDO) so that the congressional bodies could not find out about it from the telecommunications providers being subpoenaed.

Pennsylvania will lose $75 million in federal roads funds unless it gets into compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) licensing requirements for non-domiciled commercial learner’s permits (CLP) and non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses (CDL). That is according to an alarming letter DOT sent Wednesday to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Secretary Mike Carroll and Gov. Josh Shapiro. The threatened loss of funding comes on the heels of the recent Kansas arrest of an illegal alien wanted in Uzbekistan for belonging to a terrorist organization, according to ICE. As The Federalist previously reported, the alleged terrorist Akhror Bozorov was issued a non-domiciled CDL in Pennsylvania.

The newly proposed objective is to empower European soldiers to make independent decisions without having to fill out the customary paperwork, requiring prior approval from the European Commission before affixing their bayonets.

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Justice Department said in court on Nov. 19 that the full grand jury in former FBI Director James Comey’s case never saw the final indictment used to charge him, an issue Comey’s attorney described as fatal to the prosecution. The revelation was made amid scrutiny of the grand jury proceedings, but this particular hearing was focused on Comey’s argument that the prosecution should be dismissed as vindictive and unconstitutional. After some argument about the motion, Judge Michael Nachmanoff of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia asked Justice Department attorney Tyler Lemons for further details about the indictment.

The Trump administration has done an admirable job of stopping border crossings by illegals since taking control of the executive branch in January, but as many Americans who voted for President Donald Trump know, stopping those people is only half the battle. The other half is efficient and effective mass deportations to the tune of 1 million per monthThe Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced in late October that more than 2 million illegals had left the country, most of whom self-deported, while DHS forcibly removed 500,000. DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said the Trump administration was on pace to deport 600,000 by the end of Trump’s first year back in office.

Trump did not adequately show that CNN defamed him when it reported that he promoted what it described as the “Big Lie” when challenging results from the 2020 presidential election, judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit concluded. Trump said that the phrase was intended to link him to Adolf Hitler and propaganda used by the Nazis in Germany, but the term is ambiguous enough to cast doubt on that allegation, according to the new ruling.

It ain’t so much the things we don’t know that — Mark Twain (attributed) What’s the one thing everyone knows about capitalism? Why, that it started out as a mean, nasty tool of greedy industrialists, of course. “The Industrial Revolution,” we all learned, was a terrible Moloch that devoured children, put profits before people, and, though it made great fortunes (or, perhaps, partly because it made great fortunes), was a wicked development. The Industrial Revolution, we’ve all been taught, was the original sin of capitalism, necessary, perhaps, to prime the engine of economic progress, but lamentable nevertheless.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is laying down the law for Bill and Hillary Clinton: show up in person for depositions in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation, or face prison. Comer warned the former president and his twice-failed presidential candidate wife that dodging these subpoenas with written answers will not cut it—it's a clear no-go, and could invite contempt of Congress charges. Originally subpoenaed in August, the Clintons asked their lawyer to request that the committee accept written statements rather than require them to sit for live depositions. Their attorney, David Kendall, claimed that written answers would be the “most efficient and equitable” approach. Comer shot that down.
