The Epstein chimera

From The Hill newspaper, Senate unanimously approves bill to force release of Epstein files. No doubt that Pres. Trump will quickly sign the measure. Also from The Hill, The Senate agreed by unanimous consent Tuesday to approve a House-passed bill to require the Justice Department to release all unclassified records and documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, sending the bill to President Trump’s desk for a signature. UNCLASSIFED? What, what? So this entire pointless exercise just got more pointless (pointlesser? pointleast?). What about other government agencies, like the CIA or NSA?

The "cottage industry" aspect of this is what Trump was initially trying to avoid. Legacy media is already spinning lies. Now they will quote some vague nothing from the Epstein files and claim it means this or that. There will be endless back and forth and everything will be as clear as mud, and mud is the distraction Trump was trying to avoid. Since the media and dems have nothing substantive they are happy to wallow in the mud. Trump agreed to the release because the Left, since they had nothing else, was implying his guilt from his resistance. Now that lie has been demolished.

How about The Donald declassify all the documents related to Epstein? For that matter, why are any documents related to Epstein Classified at all? Which dirtbag Senator, Representative, Ambassador, etc is being protected?

Huh. Why would there be classified records then? Dims, you care to comment on this?

Why are records on Epstein classified because 1) he was working with/for various intelligence agencies, domestic and foreign, and/or 2) classifying records you don't want to see the light of day is how you protect damaging information even if the information does not warrant such protection. The classification process in the federal government is so abused.

There may be a few Republicans who made a trip to "Pleasure Island" and they should also be drummed out of society and office. There will also be some big donors on the list to both parties but the vast majority are Dems and their friends. Whoever shows up on this "Hall of Shame" should be socially shunned and lose any political standing or office that they may have had. When you are a teenager, all you can think about is getting in your girlfriend's pants (don't ask me how I know this). As an adult, it's disgusting even if the girl (or boy) has reached the age of consent. These guys 'defense' will be that they didn't 'do anything'. Just had a few drinks and sunned themselves on the beach. The media is preparing their spin right now.

Male inmates at an all-female prison in Fort Worth, Texas, are temporarily restricted from entering or using female-only private areas, a judge decided this week. It is the first time a federal court has ruled that male inmates must be sex-segregated in women’s prisons. The Federal Medical Center, Carswell is a formerly women-only prison in Texas that currently houses several men who identify as women. FMC Carswell recently housed dozens of people who identify as trans or intersex, according to a federal report. Female inmates have for years petitioned the state to separate trans-identifying men from women’s private spaces.

The report marks the first official job tally since the government shutdown ended last week, ending a six-week blackout on labor data. The numbers Economists had forecast payroll gains of 50,000 jobs in September, according to a poll by FactSet. The unemployment rate rose 4.4% in September, up from 4.3% in August and the highest level since Oct. 2021. With robust job growth in September

With a little less than a year to go before the 2026 midterm elections, a Marist Poll shows Democrats leading Republicans by a massive +14 points in the generic ballot. “Democrats currently have a 14-point lead against the Republicans among registered voters nationally on the 2026 generic congressional ballot question,” writes Marist. “This has changed considerably. Since 2022, voters have been divided about which party’s candidate they would support.” This, even though those polled “place most of the blame for the shutdown on congressional Democrats.” Still, “six in ten [blame] either the President or the GOP in Congress.”

Yesterday we learned that a three judge panel had ruled 2-1 that Texas would not be allowed to use newly drawn maps in the midterm elections. U.S. District Judge Jeffrey V. Brown, who is a Trump appointee, joined U.S. District Judge David Guaderrama, an Obama appointee, to demand the state return to its previously drawn maps. The core of their ruling was that the goal of the redistricting was not partisan political advantage, but racial gerrymandering. The state had argued that the entire redistricting process was based on a partisan goal, which the U.S. Supreme Court has previously said courts cannot intervene to prevent. But the plaintiffs pointed to a letter

"I am grateful for the opportunity to have served, excited about the potential of the company, and look forward to following their progress."

Democrat Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03) did the right thing in pushing for a vote on a "disapproval resolution" against one of her leftist colleagues, and now she must pay the price. That is the gist of the latest drama playing out among the House Democrat Caucus after the lower chamber voted on Tuesday in favor of the resolution, with 23 Democrats crossing the aisle to vote with Republicans (236-183-4) in what ended up being a deeply humiliating moment not just for Rep. Jesús "Chuy" Garcia (IL-04) but for Democrat House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), who had urged his caucus to vote against it. In a nutshell,

Similar to the Gaza plan, the proposal would consist of "peace in Ukraine, security guarantees, security in Europe, and future U.S. relations with Russia and Ukraine," Axios reported, citing sources. The U.S. special envoy, Steve Witkoff, is leading the formation of the plan and "has discussed it extensively with Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev," Axios reported, citing a U.S. official.

The program has come under intense scrutiny this year, particularly during the recent government shutdown when a spotlight shone brightly on the massive amount of taxpayer money being wasted on people abusing the system. The SNAP scrutiny kicked off earlier this year when Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., emboldened by the growing Make American Health Again (MAHA) movement, gave permission to West Virginia to ban the use of federal food assistance dollars to purchase soft drinks.
