Should America’s constitutional republic ever fall, the most likely cause of death will be its corrupt institutions. When citizens lose faith in the “system” and have exhausted all available remedies to “fix” that “system,” they will feel wholly disconnected from the government that rules over them. A cascade of institutional crises will exacerbate public distrust in the “system” until the “system’s” legitimacy collapses. Should that foreboding and chaotic event come, a primary driver will have been the public’s complete loss of faith in the courts of the United States.

The recent news cycle has showcased stunning examples of leftists earning near-constant ridicule as their fabrications blow up in their faces. The Left's moral posturing crumbles under even cursory scrutiny and reveals a consistent pattern of hypocrisy, fabrication, and embrace of extremism. References to pots and kettles, glass houses, specks, beams, rakes, and petards are all getting a workout, and it's glorious to behold. As you've heard, there is a governor's race in Virginia. It looked like an easy victory for the Democrats a few weeks ago, and then some texts surfaced and things changed. It's a lot more competitive, and the Democrats are sending former President Obama to the rescue:

Former Secretary of Education, Senator and university president, Lamar Alexander, declared in the Wall Street Journal that “Donald Trump Isn’t a University President.”
The old-school political insider and prior university administrator, goes on to criticize President Trump’s “Compact for Higher Education,” which would establish a national board of trustees for the 6,000 universities and colleges across the United States.
Mr. Alexander tells readers that this will have the apparently distasteful consequence of establishing admissions guidelines, managing university costs, creating testing standards for faculty competence and hiring, and setting criteria for international student admissions. He asserts that this is an example of federal overreach.
Barack Obama really should follow the lead of old-time presidents and, instead of seeking the limelight, opt for a rocking chair on his front porch. Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania was hospitalized early Thursday after suffering a fall near his home in Braddock, according to a statement from his office.
“During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock,” the statement, which his office posted to X, read. “Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh.”
The statement continued, “Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries. Senator Fetterman had this to say:

We hear that there is a lot of conflict on the other side. Some call it generational, or reminiscent of “Wild in the Streets”, or that movie about not trusting anyone over 30. Others say it’s ideological, or a desperate battle between center-left Democrats and the crazy left. I am not sure what to call it, but they sure are angry over there.
Well, we saw the first battle over the shutdown, and now get ready for the next episode over free buses. The New York City mayor-elect promised free buses, and the governor of New York responded with “we can’t afford it.”
