In more innocent times, teenagers became notorious at various times for swallowing goldfish, seeing how many people they could stuff into a phone booth (look it up, kids), and smoking lots of hash. Now, the latest teen craze has a decidedly more sinister edge: over the last few days, Muslims in their late teens and early twenties have been arrested in Michigan, New Jersey, and Washington state. All of them were at various stages of the planning of jihad mass murder plots. The plots largely revolved around rich kids with plenty of time on their hands and a newfound, brightly burning hatred. Islam has been at war with the world for 1,400 years. They have not stopped but western societies have. We can no longer afford to ignore this blatant hatred the 7th century barbarians have for our way of life. It might be time we start playing Cowboys and Muslims before it is too late. (And it may already be too late.)

This is rising to the level of national security, if it hasn't already. 80 years ago we executed people working for the enemy. It's clear they don't want to go back to their shiteholes, but change us into a caliphate. National Security, Bueller?. Bueller?

After the initial shock wore off, it became quite clear to many of us that something nefarious was behind the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the Capitol Complex. Things were too pat. Narratives were set and eagerly parroted by the media within hours. Buses filled with non-MAGA people were reported and verified by congressional reps. And there were "bombs" found at the Democratic National Committee and later at a club near the RNC. Impeachment talk was openly discussed. Suddenly, questioning the obviously hinky 2020 election was a criminal act against democracy. Trump must go to jail, the left said. And then they went about trying to make that happen.

Democratic officials are reportedly hampering a Justice Department investigation into an individual believed to have doxxed and stalked White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. The case centers on 66-year-old Barbara Wien, a retired professor and activist. She is accused of posting flyers in Miller’s Virginia neighborhood that listed his home address and referred to him as a “Nazi.” The flyers claimed Miller is “wanted for crimes against humanity” and displayed a QR code linking to an activist Instagram account. Until the time that Barack Obama took office, I had a reasonable amount of faith in the U.S. federal government. I knew that those on the Left in positions of leadership, as well as some on the Right, often concocted narratives for their own ends. The mainstream media decidedly leaned Left, and shaded every story, feature, event, and happening in the U.S. and around the world to their own point of view. Still, it was easy enough to get past what they were claiming. Maybe Some Good Could Result With the ascension of Barack Obama and his subsequent election as POTUS, I thought, okay, I’d never vote for him,

I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination. —Jimmy Dean It’s time to adjust our sails. On the heels of Tuesday’s electoral victories, the Democrats are motivated and energized: In their estimation, the so-called “Schumer Shutdown” is working marvelously, because the American people are blaming the Republicans. And the Democrats are reaping the political benefits. That’s because voters know that the White House, Senate, and House are all under GOP control, but they don’t really understand the nuances of parliamentary procedure. (Yawn: boring!) Instead of focusing on the 60-man threshold necessary to overcome a Democratic filibuster, they’re focusing on leadership:

The left always cares more about narrative than the truth. A split-second image can fuel outrage, (Snip) Yet behind the noise lay a moment that said more about leadership than any carefully crafted address could. That moment came during a White House event on Thursday focused on expanding access to obesity treatments. In the middle of the ceremony, a guest suddenly collapsed in the Oval Office as President Trump spoke about making life-saving weight-loss medications more affordable and accessible for Americans struggling with obesity. White House medical staff rushed to assist, and after prompt on-site care, the man is reportedly in stable condition.

California has the trendiest, and most foolish, energy policies in the U.S. The result is a return to the early ’70s, when drivers lined up around the block, hoping and praying the gasoline wouldn’t run out before they got to the pumps. “California’s oil industry now sits at the precipice of complete collapse,” says Edward Ring, director of water and energy policy at the California Policy Center, “and if that happens, more imports will not prevent lines at the pumps.” How could California, which has the sixth most proved crude reserves in the country, be looking over the edge of a gasoline crisis?

With the election of Zohran Mamdani as Mayor of New York, much conversation has been made of his appeal to “affordability.” As I’ve written previously, this is a noble conversation, but one that has been dishonestly framed (by Democrats and media) to date. [snip] First let’s look at the role that government has already played and its effect on affordability. What areas in the economy have seen the greatest increase in costs for the consumer? Education, housing, healthcare, and food. ronically, these are all areas of the economy that the government has interjected itself in the form of subsidies, regulations, government-backed loans, and transfer payments.

As awful as the mayoral election outcome was for sensible New Yorkers, misguided Washington Republicans plan to use the results as a club to further punish the city. If they succeed in hitting Gotham with enormous financial penalties for electing socialist radical Zohran Mamdani, the GOP wackos will end up penalizing all 8 million New Yorkers, including the 1 million who rejected Mamdani to vote for other candidates. The efforts also could turn Mamdani into a martyr, which would boost his popularity and inspire far-leftist copycat candidates across America. Another unintended consequence of the daffy congressional effort could be the death of the election chances of one of their own.

A disastrous shutdown for Democrats got worse Sunday when Senate Democrats folded on government funding while receiving nothing of substance in return. Eight Senate Democrats voted with 42 Republicans Sunday night on a procedural vote to allow a continuing resolution (CR) funding the government to advance. The motion passed 60 to 40, without a single vote to spare, and will enable a future vote on a clean continuing resolution through January 30, 2026, packaged with three relatively non-controversial appropriations bills extending through the fiscal year: agriculture, military construction-Veterans Affairs, and legislative branch.
