From Mediator to Target: Qatar’s Gamble
With Hamas Backfires

For decades, Qatar has held itself out as a U.S. ally while simultaneously acting as a patron of Hamas, a U.S. government-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization. Qatar housed Hamas’s leadership, financed its operations, and used the Al Jazeera network, the mouthpiece of the Qatari government, to spin Hamas’s terrorism as “resistance” or a “struggle for freedom.” Qatar’s doublespeak and double-dealing have finally come to an end. Predictably, Arab media and official statements rushed to frame Qatar as a “victim” of Israeli aggression. Talking heads lamented: how could Israel dare to strike inside the borders of Qatar, which had been “helping” to secure the release of Israeli hostages? The irony is unbearable.

Some mediator, proposing trades that result in 200 fake palestinians being released in exchange for one Israeli hostage that has been starved and tortured. In muslim society that is a fair trade. It's like dealing with the devil. So far Qatar has lost only a couple of luxury apartment buildings. There will be more. Gaza belongs to Israel since they have fought to clear every square inch of it. NO two state solution unless another "palestine" is created somewhere in Africa, which is already a dumpster fire. Muslims want to live like savages? There you go.

#1, when dealing with islam, you ARE dealing with satan. islam is satan's way to being 'higher than God'. It was the 7th beast and is now the 8th beast named in Bible.

I have never felt the Qatar was anything but an honest broker. They have nothing to offer the west other than sinful indulgence. The hypocritical Imams give em a pass, proving that all Islam is nothing but GARBAGE and the world will be so much better of once it is erased form earthly memory!

Arab countries do what is best for Arab countries. Calling themselves an ally does not change that.

I've had similar problems with spellcheck, handicap. You write one thing, and your post says something else... And always favorable to the side you are critiquing. I had to reread THIS comment three times before posting. Once while typing, once to correct where it changed words, and then to correct the changes.

Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! President DJT. Kirk had remarked on X in 2017, “Jimmy Kimmel isn’t funny.” His observation gained attention again on social media as users reacted to the network’s decision to remove Kimmel following backlash over his on-air comments about Kirk’s assassination.

Jimmy Kimmel is reportedly “absolutely f–king livid” over ABC’s decision to axe his late-night night show following backlash to his remarks about Charlie Kirk’s assassination – while President Trump cheered the move as “great news for America.” The comedian, 57, was left fuming over the network’s Wednesday decision to suspend him and pull “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” off the air “indefinitely” after he unleashed a hateful tirade against the gunned down conservative activist during Monday night’s monologue, sources and producers told the Daily Mail.

There's bias in the media, and then there's next-level, full-throated love of the most extreme parts of the leftist movement, as exhibited by ABC News reporter Matt Gutman. Gutman, as many are aware, went on an unhinged romanticization of text messages revealed by Charlie Kirk's assassin to his love interest, where he seemingly admitted to and attempted to justify his actions. The reporter thoroughly embarrassed himself with the gushing sentiments. He felt the need to highlight the "duality" of a deranged killer and how he spoke "so lovingly" to his partner. "It was very touching in a way that I think many of us didn’t expect," Gutman said.

We are talking about a very dystopian future if we allow central banks to issue central bank digital currencies. I think the power would be abused, if not by the original generation of launchers, then by the next generation.... It will be a completely totalitarian system of such frightening proportions,

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Monday called for Israel to be banned from sports events after pro-Palestinian activists disrupted the end of the Spanish Vuelta cycling race in chaotic scenes in Madrid. Israel’s foreign minister responded by calling Sánchez an “antisemite and a liar.” Tensions between the countries have escalated in recent weeks as Spain’s left-wing government expressed support for protesters who interrupted several stages of the Vuelta, including Sunday’s final stage in Madrid, because an Israeli team was taking part. Speaking to members of his Socialist Party, Sánchez said Israel, just like Russia, should not be allowed to compete in international sports because of its military campaign in Gaza.

The FBI has reportedly widened its investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk to include radical leftist groups in Utah to determine whether they helped the suspect or had foreknowledge of his plan. Several transgender social media accounts made self-incriminating comments before and after suspect Tyler Robinson murdered Kirk at a TPUSA event at Utah Valley University in Orem on September 10. The ammunition inside the rifle used to shoot Kirk was engraved with cryptic messages of transgender and antifascist ideology. Robinson was arrested on Friday in connection with the murder after his father persuaded him to turn himself in. The 22-year-old is reportedly not cooperating with investigators.

President Trump’s nominee to join the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors, Stephen Miran, was confirmed by the full Senate on Monday — while an appeals court denied the commander in chief’s effort to remove embattled central banker Lisa Cook ahead of a key meeting on interest rates. The Senate voted 48-47 to confirm Miran’s nomination — with Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) joining all Democrats in voting against Trump’s pick for the central bank. The president tapped Miran, head of the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA), to replace Adriana Kugler, a Biden appointee who abruptly stepped down last month.

Doubtlessly, a new age has just begun. Most of Gen Z was nothing more than a twinkle in their parents’ eyes when 9/11 occurred. They never lived in a version of America without the Transportation Security Administration or looming terrorist threats. They were born into the aftermath, a world filled with warnings. Don’t play outside unsupervised, don’t take candy from strangers, don’t sit on a bus with your headphones on. Zoomers are well accustomed to a world where safety is the primary concern because threats are always dangling nearby. They were raised in the era of “cancel culture” and closed dialogue.

As President Donald Trump tries to force Lisa Cook out of her job at the Federal Reserve, her lawyers have pointed to a similar event in history — one where the president lost at the Supreme Court. On October 7, 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt fired William E. Humphrey from his post at the Federal Trade Commission. The reason was purely political: The president wanted someone who could advance his priorities.. "I do not feel that your mind and my mind go along together," Roosevelt told Humphrey in a letter. His term at the FTC was supposed to last until 1938. When Humphrey refused to resign, Roosevelt fired him.
