Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib had a fiery back-and-forth with Florida's Byron Donalds during a House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday. The outspoken Democrat blasted President Donald Trump's Washington DC crime crackdown, slipping in a jab about the National Guard decision by the Trump administration as "fascist" during the hearing with Mayor Muriel Bowser and other DC leaders. "We can't be passive right now ... nobody over there should take this personally," she said, motioning at the Republican side of the chamber. "It's really important we stand up against this fascist takeover - that's not a bad word, it's a fact." (snip) At that point, Donalds interjected, bringing up the fascist remark.

When Dems have no argument, they hurl the word "fascist," and they do not even know the meaning of the word, let alone looking it up, or the history of fascism. Do they know who Mussolini and Franco are? Have they read Rise and Fall of the Third Reich or other history?

When Democrats use the word fascist it goes without saying that they don't have facts, evidence or even common sense on their side. It has become routine in public dialogue. Similarly, the words "our democracy" invariably mean one party left wing rule.

It wonderful that Refublicans are pushing back. Note, it isn't the usual RINO white males. First, the most successful fascist leader wasn't Hitler or Franco. In fact, the most successful fascist leader was praise by Mussolini. And that fascist leader was FDR. The New Deal was a classic fascist economic policy. And sending Americans to concentration camps was copy catting Hitler when FDR sent Japanese Americans to concentration camps. The optics of calling blacks fascist is priceless. I love Rep Donalds and others. They are the future, not RINOs in white satin.

Yes #1, it is usually the females. That fits the pattern in society as a whole. Even the Republican women like Green and Mace can get into these shouting matches (usually with Dem wonen). My theory is that woman have gotten so accustomed to men controlling their emotions that they assume that will always be their case, so they shout and become verbally and physically abusive relying on the men not to slap the crap out of them in response. It should be noted that Tlaib's time had expired and she was shouting over Daniel's. So she was not only vile, rude, disrespectful, loud, abusive and shrill, she felt that the rules did not apply to her and was ignoring the chairman. And she appeared racist against Daniels. In short, this woman is a hysterical lunatic.

Well, Biden’s former chief of staff, Jeff Zients, revealed during his House Oversight Committee testimony this week that Hunter Biden wasn't just sitting on the sidelines during those crucial final weeks of his father's presidency—he was actively participating in pardon discussions, attending multiple meetings with White House aides.

Yep, they demand that much added spending, which means $1.5 trillion in new federal debt over the next decade. To add a single month of uninterupted federal operations, the GOP must agree to: 1) permanently extend Biden-era ObamaCare subsidies that now sunset Dec. 31, and 2) gut the health savings just passed in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and 3) unfreeze $5 billion in foreign aid that President Donald Trump recently stopped while Congress was on (yet another) vacation.
