Can We Get Out of This Without a Civil War?

America is in crisis, with the left battling the ascendant right, a clash of visions between a socialist nightmare in which America becomes either a feudal, feral combination of California and a communist college campus or we re-make it into something like the glorious, golden country it once was. How does all this end? Leftists in America— and the Democrats are a leftist party that is eagerly embracing admitted communists— seem to be under the impression that normal patriotic Americans have no right to engage in their own self-governance. That’s unsustainable. We’re not giving up our self-determination. The question is whether America resolves this peacefully,

A "Civil War?" Probably not. But bloodshed? Inevitable. The left is convinced that it owns the streets and the violence option, because historically it has. Our side has allowed it. When that changes, and it will, it's game on. They want Trump dead. They want us dead. Fine. I wouldn't mind seeing many on their side dead. Elected and otherwise. I doubt that I'm alone.

If not then good enough. But avoiding it will result in far worse consequences.

Wars are typically "won" when one side is so damaged that it cries "uncle" or absolutely and totally loses the ability to continue fighting. "Winning" a war is something of an oxymoron. But it will always be true that the "winner" is the one who killed more of the "enemy: than the enemy was able to kill of them. So far, the body and destruction count has the Left in clear lead. Which may or may not be the catalyst for a far more comprehensive response from their targets.

As far as I'm concerned, the concerned, the civil war has already started, it just hasn't been declared. Leftists, and their propaganda arm are bent on the destruction of America as we know it. We see unmistakable evidence in that on a nearly weekly basis, and it's not just Trump Derangement Syndrome, although TDS is helping fuel their rage. I think what is really behind their rage is their gravy trains are being derailed. Case in point, USAID is no more, and the leftists fought tooth and nail against its demise. Communism has been tried over and over again, and it has always failed, but each time the proponents say: "This time it's different.", but it's never different, once you peek under the hood. Who was it who said, "History repeats for those who fail to learn from it." Barring unforeseen circumstances, history will soon be repeating in New York State. The residents will learn the hard way that communism "stops working when you run out of other people's money" Margaret Thatcher. I just hope the rest of the leftist enclaves (read blue cities and states) will learn from New York's experience. If not, there's big, really big trouble ahead. I doubt things will change in NY until they are all broken. Eliminating all Federal money going to NY will hasten the decline and failure of communism in NY and other leftist enclaves that insist on trying an experiment that has always and will always fail.

A Civil War? Nope, the country is too centralized for that now. Civil unrest is what'll happen...in blue states. Let LA burn, let Chicago burn, let these blue-haired & useless uncontributing members of society throw their tantrums and burn their own homes down.

Want to avoid a civil war? Stop listening to people calling for one, realize they are not on your side, and don't support them. Both sides are guilty, btw. They will probably get their civil war. I won't be there. More and more, it looks like things cannot be fixed. If that's the case, my main objective will be protecting myself and the people I care about.

They say there is no cure for being a pedophile. IMO there is no cure for the left nor any hope to cure black racism. Blacks are co-joined with the left and both ideologies are too deeply embedded to change. The left and the blacks love violent action until it come back on them. I believe that is a given provable fact. Eventually the violence will reach a point where it will become incumbent on the right to become violent in self-defense. At that point the feces will hit the rotating device.

A cold civil war has already started but is confined to computer keyboards, the msm, government blowhards, social media, and conversations at the office water cooler. Yes, I would expect it to expand in the form of civil unrest in the urban areas. An armed civil war with rampant shooting and killing in the streets? I hope not. If it does happen, it would be short-lived because there wouldn't be any ammo left to buy or steal.

The "Civil War" was two regions with populations largely untouched by actual violence (combat): border cities, e.g, NO, Vicksburg, Atlanta (Sherman); the next civil war will be little blue enclaves residing in a sea of red and every little blue enclave is a single point of failure; 1 minute in - electricity off; all financial services stop; all energy supplies stop; all distribution of goods slows; 1 week in: all water and retail goods are gone; police and fire are noshows at work (staying home to defend). All retail operations are finished. Street War is rampant within these cities; no escape because the red areas have blocked egress/regress. The little blue enclaves are bleeding and tearing themselves apart because their populations are totally dependent on governement and retail operations. One month in, the cities are surrendering en mass. Let them kill their leadership before amnesty. Disruptive? yes. but recoverable quickly? probably.

Re #7, I have read history about our Civil War, and everyone was all gung ho for glory before the war started, and the reality was a lot of dead innocents, maimed people and destroyed infrastructure. Nothing easy, neat, contained, fair or predictable about wars. We should avoid them if at all possible. We have literally know idea how it will play out. Our side WILL win, but at what cost? With the loss of how many innocents? Whose homes, farms and businesses will be destroyed?

The alphabet wars are, as you might think, primarily about sexuality, sex, and sexual morality. When looked at in those terms, as many liberals do or claim to, you can see, if you squint hard enough, the point they make about just letting people live their lives in peace. At least until you start thinking about the impact that allowing men into women's spaces and reality slaps you in the face. Most liberals only like to think about the issue as a question of tolerance. What do we care if some men want to wear dresses? In many cases, that is the limit of their thought process, akin to asking

Four hours of gaslighting and cursing. I've watched most of Newsom's latest venture in podcast politics in a four-hour-long Shawn Ryan Show interview. It was a curse-word-filled apologia of his time as governor and how everything is great in LaLa Land. Here are some highlights. Gavin Newsom is in favor of gun control, but he's not. He presided over and encouraged the dumbest decriminalization of felonies, prompting massive theft rings to prey upon shop owners, causing a mass exodus of people and retail outlets, but California is one of the toughest on crime. He's not running for president, but he is.

Let's kick off this column by paraphrasing Ronald Reagan: there they go again. California Governor Gavin Newsom has been boldly — and annoyingly — trying to make a case to Democrats to be the party's presidential nominee in 2028. Some may say it's a premature bid but, let's be honest, our presidential election cycles are practically endless now. For all intents and purposes, the 2028 primary season starts next Sunday, just after brunch. Don't shoot the messenger. Newsom knows that he has to get a head start because he's attempting to do something that is nigh on impossible in the current Dem electoral climate:
