Leftist Prime Minister Mark Carney might not be as prissy and preposterous as his predecessor, Justin Trudeau, but he is just as tyrannical. He’s told Canadian companies that there will be penalties for those that don’t conduct business in the way he wants them to. We don’t think he’s building gulags in Nunavut for refusenik executives, but we see the hammer and sickle he’s trying to hide behind his back. Before he was prime minister, Carney claimed that “climate change is an existential threat” and “we all recognize that,” both of which are untrue, but that’s the way authoritarians operate

Canada turns into a block of solid ice six months of the year. Carney should be the last person complaining about global warming.

#1 is right, a bit of warming, which is NOT caused by the activities of humans, should be welcomed by those in their frozen country.

It is amazing watching Carney preen about how actions taken by Canada's government will somehow save the planet from global warming. And he isn't the only one... there is video footage available of Liberal Party members blowing gaskets on the floor speeches in the Parliament about how important it was to make sure that families shouldn't travel on vacation using an SUV. Canada's incremental annual carbon emissions are something like 0.4% of the global total. India and China together are over 50%. In the recent federal election, CPC leader Poilievre noted that Canada could best help the planet to reduce carbon emissions by supplanting the burning of coal in India with the use of liquefied natural gas exported from Canada instead. Simple common sense, but Canadians didn't vote for common sense... they voted to stick their elbows up their posteriors in a futile gesture to oppose Orange Man Bad...

#5: Not me, man. Nobody in Canada is listening to me, anyway. What bothers me most about Canada is that it will, de facto, function like a blue state that has been destroyed by its electorate where some of its electorate will escape to well-run red states. In this case, Canada is the blue state and the U.S. is the red state. I think we should put in place immigration policies for Canadians that deny Liberal Party voters (we'll do a polygraph for verification and not take their word for it) the ability to come to the U.S. for employment and residence. Elections *should* have consequences, and Canadians who voted Liberal should be forced to bear the brunt of those consequences. Those who voted Conservative will be welcome.

Common sense is that Canada does not have a problem with climate warming. Just look at its population verse its land. Its urban areas are less than 1% of its land.

I welcome the Western provinces in their efforts to leave Canada and join the USA. Maybe not as states. Territories or something. Form your own country, western Canadians. Stop being abused by morons from Toronto and Ottawa. You like beef and oil, just like the majority of sane Americans. IF you embrace our constitution and are ready to wave the Stars and Stripes, join the party. Leave the 1984 Orwell land of freaks.

If you want an accurate gauge of future economic conditions, look no further than Paul “Nobel-Prize-Winning-Economist” Krugman. He has a solid record of being exactly wrong, as the above quotations show. So, the fact that he is now predicting stagflation should give everyone a boost of confidence that we are headed for a second Trump boom. Krugman’s new prediction comes, in fact, just as signs are looking up. The stock market is back in positive territory since President Donald Trump took office, and is up 7% compared with a year ago. Federal judges have recently halted a number of President Donald Trump’s executive orders and White House initiatives, setting off a firestorm of debate over how far judges’ power should go. As it turns out, most Americans of virtually all political persuasions think that judges should have the power to delay a president’s moves, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. In its April 30-May 2 national online poll of 1,400 voters, I&I/TIPP posed the following statement and question: “Federal district judges are appointed by the president, confirmed by the Senate, and serve lifetime terms. There are currently 677 such judges in the U.S.

Media reports are laced with unsubstantiated claims that man is overheating his planet. Every time climate change is mentioned in a story, even features in a newspaper’s food or fashion pages, it is understood that humans are turning Earth into a muggy greenhouse by burning fossil fuel. No evidence is provided to corroborate the claim. Man-made global warming just is and skeptics are deplorables. But the facts tell a different story. Roy Spencer, a University of Alabama-Huntsville climate scientist, has determined that “65% of the U.S. linear warming trend between 1895 and 2023 was due to increasing population density at the suburban and urban stations;

As soon as Republicans mentioned cutting spending on Medicaid as part of their “reconciliation” bill, the usual suspects started rolling out their standard talking points. They’re cutting health care for the poor to pay for tax cuts for the rich! Millions will lose coverage! The disabled will suffer! Oh, the humanity! Well, if the GOP is going to be accused of destroying Medicaid when all they are proposing is a minor haircut, why not go all out and scrap this hopelessly flawed, fraud-riddled, budget-busting disaster of a program and start over from scratch? First, let’s dispense with the claim of

For Democrats, green policies are a blunt object to be used for taking down capitalism and controlling the economy. They are also a magnificent vehicle for graft. It’s encouraging to see the Trump administration cracking down on the latter. As his last days in the White House were nearing, Joe Biden, or whoever controlled his autopen, handed out $100 billion in loans and other financial commitments to bolster what’s been called the “Green New Deal wish list.” The funds were dispersed by the Energy Department’s Loan Programs Office in the 76 days after Kamala Harris lost the election. To understand how extraordinary and suspicious this was,

Not long after Michelino Sunseri, a professional mountain runner, finished a race across Grand Teton last fall, he found himself on the receiving end of a Justice Department criminal charge. His offense? Running on a closed trail, for which he could end up serving six months in jail. We are not making this up. Last Friday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order designed to prevent such gross abuses. It is one of the most important – and underappreciated – actions he’s taken. The “crime” Sunseri committed wasn’t a federal law passed by Congress. It was a crime invented by the National Park Service – one of some 300,000

With hot debate over tariffs ongoing and current talks with trade partners, tariffs have been in the media spotlight this year. Seeking to find out how Americans see tariffs, the I&I/TIPP Poll posed the following statement to respondents: “President Trump recently stated that tariffs could lower or even eliminate income taxes

Left-wing media very much wants President Donald Trump to have dementia. At first, they began peddling this narrative to distract from former President Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline. Now, they are likely using it for a similar reason. The Insider published a so-called “investigation” into Trump’s supposed cognitive issues during his second term. It enlisted several mental health professionals to support their narrative. Dr. Bandy Lee, formerly of Yale University, claimed the president is showing clear signs of early dementia. These signs include reduced vocabulary, incoherence, impulsivity, and “paraphasias,”

Spanish authorities were experimenting with how far they could push their reliance on renewable energy before the Iberian Peninsula was hit with a massive power outage last month, it has been suggested. As people wait for more answers on what caused the power cut that disrupted tens of millions of lives across Spain and Portugal, several have questioned Spain's heavy reliance on renewable energy sources as it plans to phase out nuclear reactors. Spain's socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has rejected such criticism, asking for patience while the government investigates the causes of the historic blackout.

He was the face behind the infamous "hockey stick" graph, a man lauded by progressives, featured in Al Gore's documentary, and embraced by a media eager to label skeptics as dangerous deniers. But the courtroom, as it turns out, is no place for manufactured myths or moral grandstanding. A Washington, D.C. court just handed Mann a bruising legal defeat. After more than a decade of litigation, he has been ordered to pay over $1 million in attorney's fees to the very people he accused of defamation:

Coupled with the glacial pace of U.S. talks with Iran on its nuclear program, and the state of readiness of Israeli strike forces, some analysts have concluded that Israel is prepared to strike Iranian nuclear facilities in a matter of days.
