A mob of far-left agitators heckled U.S. Defense Secretary-designate Pete Hegseth as he appeared before the Senate Armed Services Committee at a hearing Tuesday to confirm his nomination. Sporting pink faux-military uniforms, they looked exactly how you'd expect: [Tweet] Prior to the proceedings, members of the group CodePink, an anti-Israel instigator known for organizing pro-Hamas protests on Capitol Hill, jeered at President-elect Donald Trump's pick to lead the Pentagon. Interrupting a Senate proceeding seems a little insurrection-y to me! Where are the charges??

"X" is a monogram for "Christos" (the Christ). It is also the St. Andrew's cross, which appears on the flag of Scotland.

Democrats In Minnesota Have Gone Insane

Yesterday I wrote about the Democrats in Minnesota (their party is officially called the Democrat-Farmer-Labour Party, but that is just the name; they are Democrats) pulling some very insurrection-y shenanigans in an attempt to avoid having to deal with being in the minority due to one of their members having been ruled ineligible to serve because he broke election law. If the Democrats followed election law, there would be a tie between Republicans and Democrats, but until there is a special election to fill the seat, the Republicans have a one-vote majority, and they are using it to good effect,

When a politician says "don't politicize" a significant event like the fires that have swept Los Angeles County, it's a good bet they are attempting to divert attention and shield themselves from the consequences of their inaction. Such is the case with California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who seem to be blaming others. Bass traveled to Ghana for a wedding after the National Weather Service issued a fire watch, citing "critical fire conditions." The following day, the watches were upgraded to warnings. Meteorologists advised that a "particularly dangerous situation" was developing. Upon her return, Bass refused to answer a reporter's questions.

WASHINGTON — President Biden touted his infamous decision to end the American military presence in Afghanistan during an end-of-term foreign policy speech Monday, saying he “saw no reason to keep thousands of servicemen” there — despite top generals warning him against the move. “Today, I can also report to the American people [as] the first president in decades who’s not leaving a war in Afghanistan to his successor,” the 82-year-old boasted at the State Department, arguing that “the primary objective of war had been accomplished” when SEAL Team Six took out Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden during a daring Pakistan raid in 2011.

It has been two months since Vice President Kamala Harris lost to President-elect Donald Trump, but a new report reveals that some Democrat donors are still being charged. As Democrats continue to reel from the decisive Republican victory in November, recurring charges are adding insult to injury for some who donated to help steer Harris toward victory. According to a report from Politico, a joint fundraising committee that worked with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) still has some donors enrolled in recurring payments. This is causing some strife among those who gave to the campaign.

Green radicals from the Just Stop Oil activist collective defaced Charles Darwin’s grave on Monday, claiming that humanity will not be able to adapt to the supposed climate crisis. Members of the climate change alarmist Just Stop Oil group used orange spray paint to deface ‘Father of Evolution’ Charles Darwin’s grave memorial in Westminster Abbey, with the message “1.5 is dead”, a reference to the 2015 Paris Agreement, which called on governments to prevent the world from increasing temperatures beyond 1.5 degrees Celsius. “Two Just Stop Oil supporters have painted Charles Darwin’s grave to demand that the UK government

Before we get to the gist of the article, we can all agree that nobody trolls better than President-elect Donald Trump. The guy's not only a master at trolling; he often uses the Democrats' own words to reduce them to rubble, which he did throughout the 2024 presidential campaign. In the two most memorable examples, Trump hopped a ride in a Wisconsin garbage truck in response to outgoing President Joe Biden calling his supporters "garbage." And in response to Vice President Kamala Harris' unsubstantiated claim (lie) that she once worked at McDonald's, Trump responded by working a short shift at a McDonald's drive-through window.

During the California leg of a year-long journey across America, I devoted a day to visiting two presidential libraries within a short distance of each other. I started that morning at the Richard Nixon Presidential Museum and Library and a few hours later proceeded to that of Ronald Reagan. Some months earlier I had also stopped at the Harry Truman Library and Museum in Missouri. Every president is actively encouraged to plan and construct an official repository of his documents from his time in office. The resulting library is more than the collection of the paperwork generated during his tenure, however.

It looks like Kamala Harris's classy streak is over. For awhile there, we thought something had changed in her when she graciously certified the 2024 election in the Senate and put on a decent appearance at Jimmy Carter's funeral. It seemed like a politically smart way of distinguishing herself from bitter Joe Biden and preserving her political viability. But now the old Kamala is back, classless as ever, refusing to give the incoming vice president, J.D. Michelle Obama is skipping Donald Trump’s inauguration because she’s “no phony,” we’re told. While her husband appears to be playing nice with the president-elect, Michelle won’t do the same. Former President Barack Obama and Trump appeared chummy at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral, but Michelle was nowhere in sight because she was reportedly on an “extended holiday vacation” in Hawaii. (Photo) She isn’t even giving an excuse for Jan. 20. The Office of Barack and Michelle Obama simply announced that Michelle “will not attend the upcoming inauguration,” in a statement to the Associated Press on Tuesday. And a source familiar with the Obamas’ circle told Page Six it’s “deliberate.”

WASHINGTON - U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith concluded that Donald Trump engaged in an "unprecedented criminal effort" to hold on to power after losing the 2020 election, but was thwarted in bringing the case to trial by the president-elect's November election victory, according to a report published on Tuesday. The report details Smith's decision to bring a four-count indictment against Trump, accusing him of plotting to obstruct the collection and certification of votes following his 2020 defeat by Democratic President Joe Biden. It concludes that the evidence would have been enough to convict Trump at trial, but his imminent return to the presidency, set for Jan. 20, made that impossible.

WASHINGTON — Retiring President Biden lifted Cuba’s designation as a state sponsor of terrorism Tuesday, less than a week before leaving office — outraging Republican members of Congress who believe more stringent sanctions should remain in effect. Biden, 82, made the decision in deference to the Catholic Church’s talks with the island’s Communist authorities on releasing political prisoners, the White House said. “We view this as an opportune moment to do so, given the important dialogue that is taking place between Cuba and the Catholic Church with respect to political prisoners,” a Biden administration official told reporters.

Mediators from the United States and Qatar said Israel and the Palestinian militant group were at the closest point yet to sealing a deal to bring them a step closer to ending 15 months of war. The Associated Press obtained a copy of the proposed agreement, and an Egyptian official and a Hamas official confirmed its authenticity. An Israeli official said progress has been made, but the details are being finalized. All three officials spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the talks.

Officials have expressed cautious optimism that a deal could soon be announced to halt 15 months of fighting that has destabilized the Middle East and devastated Gaza, allow for more aid into the besieged Palestinian enclave, and ensure the return of dozens of hostages held by Hamas since its attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

And when Fidel Castro died in 2016, she whined loudly about what “a great loss to the Cuban people” the passing of their “commander in chief” was.
