No One Wants A Biden Presidential Library

Original Article

During the California leg of a year-long journey across America, I devoted a day to visiting two presidential libraries within a short distance of each other. I started that morning at the Richard Nixon Presidential Museum and Library and a few hours later proceeded to that of Ronald Reagan. Some months earlier I had also stopped at the Harry Truman Library and Museum in Missouri. Every president is actively encouraged to plan and construct an official repository of his documents from his time in office. The resulting library is more than the collection of the paperwork generated during his tenure, however.

A Biden Presidential Library would turn into a sinecure for Biden’s family in which they would ensconce themselves in long term, well paying no-show jobs just like they are already doing with the scam Beau Biden Foundation. Not one adult in the Biden Crime Family has a real job.

I love Presidential Libraries, and Presidential history as well. Last year I visited the FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, Carter, and Reagan Libraries. But I have little interest in a potential Biden Library. If past is prologue, if he does get one, it will be a cardboard box in his garage next to his Corvette. Or else it could just be one of those Little Libraries planted on his front lawn stocked with vacation brochures.

The Trump Library should be in a big open place so a city can be built around it. Kinda like what Orlando was like 50 years ago. Everything was built after Disneyland.

The article encapsulates how I perceive Joe Biden's career. He is offensively mediocre. I'd argue that it actually takes a certain level of skill and charisma to attain the title of "The Worst". He's a big nothing. And the article reminded me of when Senator Ted Kennedy died. It was meant to be a big deal, but nobody was lining the streets as his casket passed by. And the media had to keep the camera tight on it to hide the fact nobody was there and nobody cared.

I've visited the Nixon, Reagan and Carter libraries and they are all informative and enlightening. Hope to go to more and don't care if it's a D or an R either. Suggest you go if you can. That’s what our purportedly most astute and seasoned political commentators would have you believe about the ceasefire agreement that was reached just a day or so ago between Hamas and Israel. These pearl-clutching, handwringing, anxiety filled savants have now become 2025’s Doomsday Squad. But it sounds to me like they all participated in the same Zoom session, so similar are their dire messages and predictions. And so wrong-headed! The esteemed Harvard Law professor emeritus, Alan Dershowitz, opined that “it wasn’t a deal; it was a crime.” “This was not the result of a negotiation between equals. The ceasefire between Hamas and Israel will go into effect in less than 24 hours, said Qatar’s foreign ministry on Saturday. In a post on X, Qatar’s foreign minister Majid al-Ansari, said the ceasefire will start at 8:30 a.m. (0630 GMT) Sunday. He advised people to exercise caution when the agreement goes into effect and wait for directions from officials. Early Saturday morning, Israel’s Cabinet approved the deal for a ceasefire in Gaza that would release dozens of hostages and pause the 15-month war with Hamas, bringing the sides a step closer to ending their deadliest and most destructive fighting ever.

The Israeli security cabinet has officially approved the long-awaited cease-fire deal with Hamas, putting a pause to the fighting in Gaza and allowing for the release of dozens of hostages held captive by the terrorist group for 15 months. The 11 voting members of the security cabinet approved the deal with a simple majority vote, the Prime Minister’s Office said. The full, 33-member Israeli cabinet will meet to approve the agreement at 3:30 p.m. local time (8:30 a.m. ET). Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s security cabinet and the Israeli government accepted the peace agreement after negotiators for the Jewish state and Hamas signed off on the deal.

At the behest of President Donald Trump, House Speaker Mike Johnson has removed House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) Chairman Mike Turner from his position. The cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas is meant to be a first step, and we don’t know what happens next, or the promises that were made behind the scenes. It is possible that President-elect Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have agreed on this move merely as a tactical prelude to a set of far-reaching measures that will yet transform the Middle East. And, most importantly, the idea of dozens of Israelis — including toddlers — returning home after more than a year in purgatory is enough to dull even the most hawkish observer’s concerns.

Independence Day, observed annually on July 4, is a national holiday that honors the ratification of the Declaration of Independence. This pivotal document marked the founding of the United States of America and its liberation from British tyranny and oppression. In the mid-1990s, a song with the same title was awarded Country Music Song of the Year. Performed by Martina McBride, it celebrates a woman’s liberation from her abusive husband. What are the commonalities? Oppression and abuse. Is anyone else sensing a strong stench of these in America, what used to be a shining city on a hill?

Instead of fixing their economies, the European Union bureaucrats want to kneecap America's tech success stories with lawsuits and regulatory barbed wire fences to keep American firms from competing on a level playing field. Europeans have long been dripping with jealousy that American firms dominate the tech sector -- cellphones, search engines, social media platforms, artificial intelligence and robotics. Our "magnificent seven" tech companies -- including Google, Nvidia, Apple and Amazon -- saw massive stocks market gains in 2024. Meanwhile, Europe has flatlined.
