On Nov. 5, Americans spoke loud and clear: They wanted an end to the bloated bureaucracy and a halt to the reckless, unchecked spending that’s drained the coffers of our republic. And what did they get? A Republican victory. Now it’s time for House Republicans to start acting like they won. Late Tuesday evening, congressional leaders released their 1,547-page monstrosity of a spending bill — a so-called “continuing resolution” that purports to fund the government through March of 2025. It’s business as usual in Washington despite the November mandate.

The problem with this thinking--that the Republicans won and the Dims lost--is that the majority of Congress doesn't accept it or believe it. Because of that, they're going to do what they've always done, which is serve their own interests and the interests of those who pay them the most (via bribery). We don't have representatives in Congress; we have criminals. Every state should have a way to repeal them!

Johnson has showed that he is a weak establishment wimpy Republican politician. Certainly he is not going to be hunky-dorky with Trump. If Johnson is smart he should regress as quickly as possible to the back benches of Congress.

Whelp. Time to face facts, folks. We know the Bidet Regime is a criminal operation. We know the Demonrat Party as a whole is one of the worst collection of reprobates ever assembled. We know bureaucrats are self serving, lying, cheating, and stealing individuals. There's one other cabal which needs to be recognized by all and disassembled. That would be the Corrupt Congress! Both sides of the aisle. Elon Musk has the right idea, which is to FINALLY do something about these two faced clowns by primarying them. The means now exist to go around the very corrupt Enemedia to get information out to people who are a little slow on the uptake as far as who they are voting for. Maybe some criminal charges can be brought against them, both Demonrat, Rino, and perhaps some of these "media" types and that way we could get rid of some of them sooner than later.

Vance seems to be helping Johnson grow a spine and figure out what to do. I'm not certain that Johnson is very bright, he may be overwhelmed by the whole mess, and needs a smart person to plan out his actions for him. Vance is a smart guy, maybe he can set Johnson on the right course. Johnson seems to have made a mess of it on his own.

If you've been reading political news over the last several days, you know Democrats have a new talking point. As the tale goes, far from the humble, people-led affair of the Biden administration, the federal government has now become an "oligarchy" ruled by Elon Musk. Why? Because the billionaire said Congress shouldn't pass a pork-filled 1,500-page continuing resolution. The horror, right? Naturally, the attacks on Musk and incoming president Donald Trump, who is now being touted as a "puppet," were picked up by CNN's liberal analysts. What they forgot is that Scott Jennings exists, and for the time being, there's some actual truth being shared on the left-wing network.

When I was a kid, my parents taught me that any apology followed by the word “but” was no apology at all. In fact, they said, you might as well not even try. When I became a parent, my wife and I instilled that same point into our children - no justification, no buts - just say you’re sorry. So when I heard Senator Elizabeth Warren say in an interview on MSNBC, “Violence is never the answer but people can be pushed only so far,” I harkened back to the words of my parents. What exactly was the Senator saying?

President-elect Donald Trump will face a “big mess” once his term as president starts in the aftermath of a spending bill passed to avoid a government shutdown. Under the spending bill, which was passed in the Senate on Saturday, the government will remain open until March 14, 2025, according to NBC News. The bill’s passage in the Senate comes after the House passed the spending bill on Friday night. NBC noted that in addition to the incoming Trump administration needing to address “another government funding deadline and a debt limit,” Trump’s cabinet picks need to be confirmed “through the Senate,” among other things.

It includes a nursing home and jail infirmary, Long Island’s only burn unit and its largest inpatient psychiatric treatment center.

The NYPD’s highest-paid employee — who shoveled in more than $400,000 last year — filed for retirement this week and then was suspended amid an internal affairs probe into her astronomical overtime, The Post has learned. Lt. Quathisha Epps will retire just shy of 20 years with the department, sources said — an early exit that will impact her pension and cost her a $12,000-a-year supplement for cops who reach the two-decade mark. Leaving money on the table is seemingly uncharacteristic for Epps, who raised eyebrows by pulling in roughly $204,000 in overtime last year for her administrative job in NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey’s office, payroll records show.

Congress’s latest spending scam is not receiving the glowing reviews weak-kneed Speaker Mike Johnson was hoping for. On Tuesday evening, congressional leaders released the text of a 1,547-page omnibus package designed to fund the federal government through March 2025. Like those that have come before it, the bill is stacked with pork provisions championed by the D.C. establishment and loathed by everyday Americans. Among the worst included in the end-of-year spending spree are provisions extending the State Department’s censorship-loving Global Engagement Center, opening the door for congressional members to receive a pay raise, and allowing members of Congress to opt out of Obamacare.

CBS News’ Lesley Stahl is having a bit of heartburn after the 2024 election. Donald Trump is coming back. The GOP retained control of Congress. The media establishment was once again skinned alive by the tens of millions of Americans who rightly rejected, ignored, or outright dismissed their shoddy narratives against Trump and the ones manufactured to prop up Vice President Kamala Harris. After negotiating, lawmakers agreed to trim the funding bill to just under 600 pages after the initial draft was more than 1,300 pages and included unnecessary spending, such as a pay increase for Congress members.

Earlier this year, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) began requiring all unmanned aircraft systems to be equipped with Remote ID technology, which makes every equipped drone uniquely identifiable to authorities, like a license plate on a car. The FAA announced that it would provide a database that could be accessed by local law enforcement, but nearly one year later, local authorities still can't get into it themselves.
