Trump's Popularity Is Rising -- What Will
the Resistance Do?

Original Article

Dec. 6 was a historic day. It was the first time since July 2015 -- since Donald Trump entered presidential politics -- that more Americans have said they have a favorable impression of Trump than an unfavorable one. All that time, from Trump's first Republican primary campaign to the 2016 general election to his years as president to his defeat in 2020 to his post-presidential years to his comeback in 2024 -- in all that time, Trump has been underwater in the RealClearPolitics average of polls measuring favorability and unfavorability. Now, for the first time, he's above the water, in positive poll territory.

Saturday was the "MAGA Fete" my wife and I had planned since November 5. Thirteen of our Patriot neighbors joined us for snacks, drinks, and four hours of pro-America conversation in our Clearwater, FL, condo. We had hung a giant "UltraMAGA" banner from the street side of our carport and erected a life-size Donald J. Trump cardboard cutout a friend from church loaned us under our staircase--it was the first thing MAGA people spotted coming through our front door. And we had "Alexa" playing that Disco classic and now famous DJT song "YMCA" continuously as visitors entered. It was quite an evening with bright patriot friends and neighbors with plenty to say about what we all trust will be the solid future of our nation now that Donald Trump is president and Traitor Obiden is over and done with. However, the only snag was when someone from the Condo Board of Directors, responding to a whining Leftist neighbor's complaint about our “unauthorized political banner,” interrupted the gathering and told us to remove it. We told him to take a chill pill. We'd take it down come morning, but not before then. Sadly, MAGA America can expect more of the same from nasty, anti-American Leftist Marxocrats continuing Sweet Barry Obama's--our worst mistake as president--fundamental plan to destroy our nation. A major reason that Trump's popularity has gone up is, not only did Trump win the election, he DEFEATED and EMBARRASSED the people that have been attacking him nonstop since he announced he was running in 2015. They have been proven to be liars and evil people. Their credibility has been ruined. Many of them have been banished from the national stage. Biden is still wandering around somewhere and still doing bad stuff but no one is paying attention to him. Most of what Biden has done is about to be erased. Some of Trump's attackers have lost their jobs. ABC has been dragged into court for defamation and is $16 million poorer for the experience. That had to leave a mark. All of the Left is enveloped in a big cry and whine fest with desperation oozing out of their pores. Many are still insisting that their negative views of Trump are correct but they are spitting into the wind. There is an nasty knife fight going on in the dem party over blame and how to reorganize and rebuild, which seems to be an enormous challenge for the fragmented party whose parts are not compatible to and even antithetical to each other. With Trump's opposition crushed, discredited, fragmented, and demoralized, many people are starting to see Trump without the mud that was constantly being thrown at him and they realize that they are OK with what they see.

He's so much more relaxed and seems to be showing a warmer, kinder, and yes---HUMOROUS side of himself which has been carefully hidden from the public until this go-around. The media has no clue how to proceed; their old script doesn't work with this apparent new persona. Now if only we could get him to drop his cheesy attempts at merch selling. I'm sorry but I think when Trump is out hawking his own watches or mugs it cheapens the Presidency and makes him look like some kind of sideshow performer. Yeah, I know Rush did the ties, but he wasn't President.

As part of the current cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas, Israel has agreed to release 90 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for 33 Israeli hostages. On Sunday, the first three hostages were handed over to the Red Cross and they are home in Israel. Their families were able to watch live as they were released. All three of the young women are said to be in decent health and have been reunited with their mothers, who were waiting with members of the Israel Defense Forces.

On Wednesday, we reported that Israel and Hamas had reached a tentative ceasefire deal, which will result in the release of some of the terror group’s hostages. Debate has raged in the ensuing hours over whether it is a good deal for Israel and which American commander-in-chief deserves the credit: lame-duck President Joe Biden or incoming President-elect Donald Trump. While we certainly hope for the release of all the hostages taken in Hamas’ savage Oct. 7, 2023 attack, their newest chief is sounding anything but peaceful. In fact, despite the deal being reached, Hamas leader Khalil al-Haya delivered a sick,

It looks like Kamala Harris's classy streak is over. For awhile there, we thought something had changed in her when she graciously certified the 2024 election in the Senate and put on a decent appearance at Jimmy Carter's funeral. It seemed like a politically smart way of distinguishing herself from bitter Joe Biden and preserving her political viability. But now the old Kamala is back, classless as ever, refusing to give the incoming vice president, J.D. Vance and his young family, a courtesy tour of the Naval Observatory, which serves as the vice presidential residence. She even could have proudly shown him all the renovations she had done.

There was a time when the mere mention of Edward Snowden’s name stirred a visceral reaction in me. I thought he was a traitor who had betrayed his country by leaking classified information from the National Security Agency. Like many Americans, I was swept up in the tide of post-9/11 patriotism, a sentiment that, in hindsight, was both genuine and grossly manipulated. It wasn’t until I heard Snowden speak a year or two after he defected to Russia that I realized how I had been bamboozled by my government. Edward Snowden wasn’t a turncoat;

A federal report, however, reveals details that cast the entire charade in an even worse light. The Granholm tour was to take her from Charlotte, N.C., to Memphis, Tenn., and was intended to justify the billions of taxpayers’ dollars the Biden administration was pouring into green energy initiatives. Many of the larger Trump-supporting accounts on social media are already lashing out at Vance, but it needs to be noted that neither Donald Trump nor JD Vance ever promised a blanket pardon for all those charged over January 6th.

One of the most wonderful things about Christianity is that there’s remarkable diversity in the way we can worship, provided we believe in the essentials of the faith. After the Protestant Reformation, denominations sprang up that allowed for variations in thoughts on secondary theological issues as well as styles of worship. In more recent years, the “mainline” denominations, so called because they were the churches along the main roads in towns, have opted for theological and political liberalism (and downright heresy) and have seen a resulting decline. Denominations still loom large on the landscape of American Christianity, but their influence is on the downslope, according to some new research.

That’s what lawfare is all about, creating public perceptions and using the judicial system to advance political goals. Few people care about the issues and the entire case is likely to be thrown out on a host of appeal reasonings.

President Donald Trump was left in disbelief as he was forced to listen to a woke bishop deliver a stunningly negative sermon calling for him to show 'mercy' to illegal immigrants and transgender children. On the first full day of Trump's presidency Marianne Budde, the left-wing Episcopal Bishop of Washington, unleashed a wild lecture claiming trans kids were 'fearing for their lives' due to him being in the Oval Office. Trump sat stony-faced in the front row, next to First Lady Melania Trump, as the prelate told him illegal immigrants were not criminals and he shouldn't deport those with children.
