Elon Musk and Alexander Vindman, who came to relevance with his involvement as a witness in the first impeachment against then President Donald Trump, are now feuding over X, with some pretty serious charges flying around. Back in October, Vindman gave an interview to MSNBC that is once more circulating, in which he took shots at Musk and Trump by claiming he was working for Russian President Vladimir Putin. Do liberals really have nothing else? As Brett T covered at our sister site of Twitchy, there's plenty of clips circulating, with many users pointing out that Musk should sue Vindman for defamation.

It's not easy being George Clooney these days.
The realization has finally hit him that Obama, his best friend forever, used him for a patsy in the recent election.
First he had him hold a fundraiser for Joe Biden, where he could clearly see Joe's senilkity, and then he had Clooney write the editorial for the New York Times calling on Democrats to get that guy out of there. Now that the electoral disaster has happened for the Democrats as a result, Obama has left Clooney holding the bag.

Over at Quillette our friend Heather Mac Donald is having fun with academic David W. Blight of Yale and his piece in the New York Times:
Academia must grapple with its blind spots, he argues, in order to understand why blue-collar workers voted for an “authoritarian in a red tie” in the recent US presidential election.
But Blight, “a scholar of American race relations and the Civil War,” believes “that MAGA enthusiasts are the ‘equivalent of the 1850s Slave Power who seek to spread a ‘deadly poison’ of authoritarianism throughout the body politic.”
He should know. Blight is the author of a 350-page report on “Yale and Slavery.”

Outgoing President Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, just weeks before he leaves office, after initially promising not to do so.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)'s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has released its annual report identifying the top management and performance challenges currently facing the federal agency.
Among the OIG's findings, a lack of public trust in the DOJ remains a "longstanding" problem, Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz announced Monday, and strengthening such trust poses "a significant challenge."
However, in its 59-page report highlighting incidents that have contributed to the department's confidence crisis, the DOJ watchdog largely overlooked transgressions under the Biden-Harris administration, which still reigns.

Now that Trump has won the election against all odds, by the wildest of coincidences, two of these dumpster fire cases, brought on from the flimsiest of charges, have been scrapped. Everyone knows they don't hold water.

President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter despite the White House saying over and over he would not do it.
The pardon includes charges Hunter faced or might have faced from January 1, 2014, through December 1, 2024.
Yes, ten years. Absolute insanity. That means anything else that pops up in that time period doesn’t count. Hunter cannot face any charges. Hunter pleaded guilty to tax evasion. He was going to face sentencing on December 16 for lying on a federal form by saying he was not using drugs or addicted to drugs when trying to buy a gun.

America is about to go to war over whether the government has the power to deport entire families of illegal aliens. That question involves “birthright citizenship”—that is, whether a child born in the U.S. to illegal alien parents is automatically a U.S. citizen and, thus, an “anchor baby?”
