Iranian Ruling Body Appoints Khamenei's
Son to Succeed Him

Original Article

Iran International, a Persian-language international media outlet with ties to Iranian regime opponents, is reporting that Iran's Assembly of Experts, the only body empowered to appoint or dismiss a supreme leader, has named Mojtaba Khamenei, the second son of current leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as his successor. The outlet also reports that Mojtaba Khamenei may assume the office of supreme leader before his father dies. It's no secret that the 85-year-old Ali Khamenei is in poor health. But the meeting of the Assembly of Experts was called suddenly and with no warning by Khamenei. The 60-member body was instructed to decide on the succession immediately under strict confidentiality.

So the Supreme leader called them and told them who to pick. Then that says the Iran Assembly of Experts doesn't really have a say in who is the Supreme Leader. They are just like the rest of the Iranians, they merely d what this old Mullah tells them to do. The same guy who picks them to be the panel of experts. The Iranian people have no say at all, and seem to be dumb enough to like it that way.

As incredible and providential as Donald Trump’s election victory was, it’s hard not to shake the feeling that we’re living on borrowed time. By now, Democrats were supposed to be well on their way to solidifying a stranglehold on the American electorate, wielding their imagined “permanent Democratic majority” gained through entitlements, race hustling, and illegal immigration to ram through structural changes that would seal them in power forever. Instead, Republicans, with control of every branch of the federal government thanks to Trump’s magnificent run, have been gifted with one more bite at the apple. We squander this chance at our peril.

Marlena Velez, 22, is facing petty theft charges for allegedly stealing more than $500 from the Target store in Cape Coral on Oct. 30, according to the Fort Myers News-Press. The retail chain’s loss prevention team told the Cape Coral police that a shoplifter was allegedly caught on security camera at a self-checkout register, where they scanned a fake barcode that listed lower prices for the items in their cart.

Yet Democrat politicians, both federal and local, vie to be the most strident in denouncing his plans to begin deporting millions of foreign nationals who, over the last four years, have entered the U.S. illegally. Trump pledges to focus initially only on the 400,000 to 500,000 current felons and some 1.4 million additional aliens who have ignored legal summons for their deportation. Weekly we read of thousands of illegal immigrants arriving from areas controlled by violent Mexican cartel gangs or failed, strife-torn South American countries that have emptied their jails to send their felons northwards.

When Florida governor Ron DeSantis was a GOP presidential frontrunner, liberal Democrats dug up every scrap of information suggesting he was an ineffective governor, noting that thousands were fleeing his state as a result of his supposedly poor governance. When Trump became the GOP nominee, the attack on Trump’s adopted home state continued. With the early primary polls on her side, Democrat Party insiders say Kamala Harris is thinking seriously about trying again for the presidency in 2028. “Of course, she’s going to try and run again,” someone the Daily Mail describes as a “well-connected Democratic strategist,” told the outlet. The strategist added that Kamala’s ambition is only one thing driving this decision. “Despite some hesitation, Harris has generated a lot of sympathetic reactions from professional Democrats in Washington,” reports the Daily Mail. “They describe her campaign as ‘near flawless’ but say she struggled to separate herself from President Joe Biden’s record.”

But a host of prosecution witnesses, Penny’s fellow passengers, knocked massive holes in that tale, as one after another veteran subway rider described how terror-stricken they were trapped on the train car with the angry, unstable, threatening Neely.
