Here's One Reason Why FEMA Is Doing Such
a Terrible Job

Original Article

I have long thought that one of the hallmarks of an advanced economy is built-in resilience to shocks to the system. As with so many things these days, that resilience has eroded to the point that, except in certain areas of the country like Florida, it hardly exists. You have probably seen many of the same videos I have, in which North Carolina residents are begging for help and wondering where FEMA is. Aside from funding migrants, that is. It seems to be doing a fine job at that, exhausting the funds that should be going to help Helene's victims. Why is FEMA so awful?

DEI insanity is important to FEMA leaders. Americans dying in North Carolina are unimportant to FEMA. They work on helping trans illegals......and BLOCK aid to Americans in dire need.

As this DEI model makes its way into healthcare, expect to receive NO CARE if you are white, a man, or a Christian.

They are failing because all government agencies with absolute authority fail. Those sorts of jobs attract the petty tyrants who's own lives are train wrecks, and they would dictate ours. Hopefully the good people in the storm area will do attitude adjustments on these scoundrels.

FEMA is full-fledged DEI - Do Expect Incompetency, and full-fledged DEM - Do Expect Malfeasance. The Greek has made it so. Impeach the Greek, if Congress has the cahones.

That's a profound insight, #4. But it can't be a terrible job FEMA is doing. The people are "very happy." What we need is a raging current to take out our bloated government. I can't think of one area of life where it hurts, instead of helps.

Why is FEMA so awful? Is it any more awful than the Justice Department? Than the IRS? The CIA? The State Department? It's run by Democrats, like all the rest of our Government, and it won't get any better as long as one Democrat remains in Office.

He was hospitalized, given the deadly and ineffective remdisivir drug and he died a few weeks later. DEI has already been killing people.

Walz a Laughingstock? Yes, But He’s

In the wake of his disastrous debate performance, Tim Walz has become a laughingstock. That is appropriate. But the relatively benign view expressed by CNN–Walz is a nice guy, but an incompetent governor–doesn’t tell one-quarter of the story. The reality is far worse. I don’t suppose Walz is actually the Manchurian Candidate, but his admiration for Communist China is both obvious and bizarre. Who, after all, would choose the China of 1994 as a honeymoon destination? And go there another 30 times? Walz now says he “misspoke” when he said he had been to China 30 times, and it wasn’t actually that many. Walz “misspeaks” a lot.

Iran grounded all flights until 6 a.m. Monday due to “operational restrictions,” according to reports. This comes after the Islamic Republic launched a missile barrage at Israel on October 2. Not surprisingly, the mullahs offered no details as to why they were taking such dramatic action: Iran’s state media cited a spokesperson for Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization, which announced the flight cancellations. State media said the flights were canceled due to operational restrictions, though no further details were provided. Media in #Iran published a map of potential targets that may be hit in the event of an anticipated attack by #Israel. A Jordanian source denied reports

Israel on Sunday evening prepared to mark the first anniversary of the worst terror attack in its history, as the wounds of the October 7 massacre still feel raw, many of the bereaved continue to seek answers about their loved ones, the plight of the hostages looms over commemorations and fighting still rages on several fronts. President Isaac Herzog vowed to “make space for national mourning,” as military chief Herzi Halevi promised to undergo a deep soul-searching, while the IDF released never-before-seen footage from the October 7 onslaught, as many questions still remain about the chaos and turmoil of that day. “A year has passed

The better Israel does in its ongoing retaliation against Iran and its terrorist proxies, the more it seems as if their supposed allies have lined up to thwart their efforts in every fashion imaginable. The latest to join the parade was French President Emmanuel Macron who is no longer willing to settle for Israel "showing restraint" against Lebanon and other targets. Yesterday, on a French radio program, Macron urged a return to "a political solution" to the ongoing dispute. He clarified what he meant, saying that the West should end arms deliveries to Israel for use in Gaza. The response from Prime Minister Netanyahu was rapid

As the pro-Hamas people let their antisemitic freak flags fly once more with the anniversary of October 7 upon us, one guy evidently decided that lighting his left arm on fire was a great way to protest against Israel's ongoing war against Hamas and Hezbollah. Some journalist named Samuel Mena, Jr., pulled this little stunt yesterday in front of the White House as part of a pro-Palestine demonstration, evidently wanting to copy Aaron Bushnell, the Air Force servicemember who self-immolated in front of the Israeli embassy in February, but without the same level of commitment.

Is Bibi Netanyahu making decisions regarding Israel's response to Iran's recent missile attacks in an effort to interfere in the US presidential election? That seems to be Joe BIden's read on the situation, at least based on comments he made this week in the White House press briefing room. Biden clearly appeared to be implying that Netanyahu is less interested in negotiating any sort of peace deal because of the pressure he's under to deliver a strong message to Iran. A peace deal would potentially undermine that message, possibly opening the door to additional aggression by Iran. Why Biden would weigh in on this discussion in such a fashion remains

FLINT, Michigan — Democrats across the country are fretting about Pennsylvania, a blue wall state that could crumble Vice President Kamala Harris’ most straightforward path to victory. But Michigan Democrats are also warning that their state hangs on a knife’s edge. Party leaders are anxious about the Great Lakes state slipping away as polls continue to show a close race with former President Donald Trump, even with the party’s renewed enthusiasm surrounding Harris’ candidacy. They worry that Trump and his running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, are increasing their presence in Michigan and appealing to a swath of voters Harris is working hard to win over:

Crooks shot at Trump from the top of a nearby building, grazing the former president in the ear, killing firefighter Corey Comperatore, and injuring two others.

The loans are a “critical lifeline” that act as the “largest source of Federal disaster recovery funds,” he said, adding that $1.2 billion is needed to refill the program’s coffers. The art of the traditional signature is becoming a thing of the past thanks to the rise of online contracts, e-signatures and PIN numbers. Surveys show that just a fifth of young adults aged 18 to 24 now have a personal signature, and a similar share of adults use their signature so infrequently, they can't produce the same one consistently. And that matches what teachers are seeing. Dr Lori Koerner, the assistant superintendent for the Riverhead Central School District in New York, told DailyMail.com: 'I have encountered too many secondary students and employment candidates who cannot sign documents relative to their onboarding process.'

We should be used to the idea by now that the Biden administration does not exist in the same time frame of the universe as the rest of us. As of June, exactly eight charging stations had been built. Amazingly, in that same Act, Congress authorized the Commerce Department to create an "Internet For All" scheme, which was supposed to bring broadband internet to everyone in America at an affordable price by 2030.

On Friday, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that votes cast for a pro-ranked-choice voting constitutional amendment in the 2024 election will count — even though nearly 38,000 signatures supporting the amendment proposal were duplicates. In its decision, the Grand Canyon State’s high court rejected a challenge seeking to have votes cast for Proposition 140 voided after a lower court special master disclosed that 37,657 pairs of signatures gathered in support of the measure were duplicates. As previously argued by the Arizona Free Enterprise Club (AZFEC), the finding “place[s] Proposition 140 thousands of signatures under the constitutionally required signature threshold to qualify for the [November] ballot.”

California Democratic Gov. But a new study shows policies have added as much as $1.91 per gallon to what Californians pay at the pump. According to AAA, Americans on Saturday were paying on average $3.177 a gallon for gasoline. Californians were paying $4.676 per gallon on average. The gap can vary. A year ago, the average national price was $3.814 per gallon, while Californians were paying $6.059 per gallon.
