Dead heat gets even hotter for Harris

Original Article

A dead heat is getting even hotter for Kamala Harris. To see it, you can look at the slightly tightening polls; to appreciate you must look inside them. However, to fully understand it, you must look at what Harris did last week: she visited the southern border, she gave an economic speech and she held another softball interview. For a campaign centered on not saying anything, Harris’ playing to her weaknesses says a lot. The polls say the race is tightening slightly. According to RealClearPolitics’ Sept. 29 average of national polling in a two-way race, Harris leads Trump 49.1 percent to 47.1 percent.

Whether the polls cited here are accurate or not, it is clear that, at the least, nearly 50% of the voters in the country find Harris/Walz acceptable. Mark Steyn has said that a nation, where half the population is voting for a ticket like Harris Walz, is not a serious country.

The polls are not tightening. They are doing just the opposite. Trump is pulling away and any news organization that refuses to see it isn't a real news organization, but a inside the beltway mouthpiece. It's so bad for the Dems, that they have to resort to ignoring storm victims in Trump country to keep them from getting to the polling places.

Another fake story. There is no dead heat in this election. There is definitely heat with cheating by the democrats going on, and some foolishly believe it, but there has never been a day when this contest was a dead heat.

Look at the source. A Democrat mouthpiece. It may backfire and cause even more Trump supporters to make sure that they vote. That said, if half the country will actually votes for Harris and the liar Waltz, stick a fork in this country...we are done.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz sought to distance Vice President Kamala Harris from laws he himself signed that granted benefits to illegal immigrants in Minnesota on Sunday. Walz made the comments during a wide-ranging interview on Fox News Sunday with host Shannon Bream. Bream pressed Walz on his military history and his record on abortion in addition to questioning him on legislation he signed in Minnesota that allows illegal immigrants to obtain driver's licenses and receive state-funded tuition assistance, among other benefits. "Are those not magnets to draw people here, many times on dangerous journeys for themselves? And why should your taxpayers in Minnesota or across the states pay

Hamas’s October 7 massacre was shocking, not just due to its barbarity, but the reaction it elicited on the streets of liberal democracies, with masses of westerners actively cheering on the slaughter of innocent civilians and siding with a genocidal terrorist organization. As the first anniversary of that horrific day approaches, a new book sheds light on the morally bankrupt ideology that has caused many of our elites to turn their backs on liberal values and forge an unholy alliance with religious extremists.
Untapped Relief: FEMA Is Sitting on Billions
of Unused Disaster Funds

Although the Federal Emergency Management Agency told Congress last month that it had $4 billion in its Disaster Relief Fund, officials also warned that the Fund could have a shortfall of $6 billion by year’s end, a situation FEMA says could deteriorate in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. While FEMA is expected to ask Congress for new money, budget experts note a surprising fact: FEMA is currently sitting on untapped reserves appropriated for past disasters stretching back decades. An August report from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General noted that in 2022, FEMA “estimated that 847 disaster declarations with approximately $73 billion in unliquidated funds remained open.”

With just about four weeks to go before the presidential election, various people are predictably rolling out their “October Surprise” scenarios. The most prominent such person is Hillary Clinton. That is not a shock to many who believe her to be behind the “Russia Collusion” surprise unleashed on Donald Trump in summer 2016. That “surprise” was a known and proven hoax, orchestrated to take down the Trump campaign. For those who may have forgotten that sordid episode — or who seek to pretend it never happened — I suggest they read the Durham Report, released in May 2023.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is facing heavy criticism after sending mixed messages on whether the Biden-Harris administration has been using FEMA resources to support migrants last week.Jean-Pierre flatly denied that FEMA resources were going to migrants in a press conference last week, but she stated the opposite when asked about the issue in the fall of 2022. "Former President Trump is accusing the Biden administration of using FEMA funding to support undocumented migrants. How is the White House responding to that?" a reporter asked during a Friday press conference.

For months, many countries have warned of an escalation in the war in the Middle East. These concerns are now magnified in the wake of Iran's latest attack on Israel. Iran is one of the regional powers in the Middle East. Another is Turkey, and Ankara has been on the side of the Palestinian people since Israel's offensive on the Gaza Strip in response to the October 7, 2023 attack by the terrorist organization Hamas. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly accused Israel of committing "genocide." He has also repeatedly emphasized that he does not see Hamas as a terrorist organization and often speaks of his "Palestinian brothers."

According to London-based investor and environmentalist Adam Sweidan, a “black elephant” is a mix of two metaphors: “a black swan” — an unlikely, unexpected event with enormous ramifications — and the “elephant in the room” — a problem that is visible to everyone, yet no one still wants to address it. The Democratic Party has a “Black Elephant” problem they don’t want to talk about, African Americans to comprehend and voters to respond to on election day. That problem involves the growing support for former President Donald Trump from African Americans. Recent reports reveal that black men in particular are supporting President Trump in record numbers.

“The most stupendous and atrocious fraud.” Those words from federal prosecutors could have been ripped from the filing this week of Special Counsel Jack Smith defending his prosecution of former President Donald Trump. Yet they were actually from a Justice Department filing 184 years ago, just days from the 1840 presidential election. Democratic President Martin Van Buren was struggling for reelection against Whig William Henry Harrison, and his Justice Department waited until just before voters went to the polls to allege that Whig Party officials had paid Pennsylvanians to travel to New York to vote for Whig candidates two years earlier.

Shame on them,” Netanyahu said in a statement. He continued, "Is Iran imposing an arms embargo on Hezbollah, on the Houthis, on Hamas and on its other proxies? Of course not.

When describing the Biden-Harris administration’s policy of allowing millions of illegal border crossers to stay in the United States, it’s absolutely critical to use the word “unvetted.” What government official would let so many people who entered the country illegally remain in the U.S. without even knowing who they are? That would be crazy. And yet that is exactly what the Biden-Harris administration has done for nearly four years. And by the way, administration officials don’t want you to know how often they have done it.

Ohio Sen. JD Vance, as anticipated, easily won the vice-presidential debate Tuesday, October 1, on demeanor, facts, and analysis. But in fairness to a sometimes herky-jerky and nervous Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, he had the harder task of defending the temporary pseudo-conservative make-over of Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris. His additional burdens were her co-culpability for the last three-and-a-half-years of the Biden disaster, and her unwillingness to implement her supposedly "change" agenda in the last months of her vice-presidential tenure. The CBS News moderators, Nora O’Donnell, and, especially, Margaret Brennan, also as expected, ganged up on Vance.

Democratic vice presidential hopeful Tim Walz fessed up to making numerous false statements, but implied that voters aren’t too concerned about his “misspeaking.” When confronted about his various fibs ranging from being in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square massacre to his wife’s reproductive assistance and more, Walz argued that sometimes he gets tripped up by his passion. “I think they heard me the other night speaking passionately about gun violence and misspeaking,” Walz told “Fox News Sunday,” alluding to how he flubbed an answer during the VP debate and sputtered out the unfortunate turn-of-phrase, “I’ve become friends with school shooters.”

California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has continuously denied that the state’s policies have anything to do with sky-high gas prices the state's residents pay, arguing that it’s “Big Oil” driving up gasoline prices. But a new study shows policies have added as much as $1.91 per gallon to what Californians pay at the pump. According to AAA, Americans on Saturday were paying on average $3.177 a gallon for gasoline. Californians were paying $4.676 per gallon on average. The gap can vary. A year ago, the average national price was $3.814 per gallon, while Californians were paying $6.059 per gallon.

Is Bibi Netanyahu making decisions regarding Israel's response to Iran's recent missile attacks in an effort to interfere in the US presidential election? That seems to be Joe BIden's read on the situation, at least based on comments he made this week in the White House press briefing room. Biden clearly appeared to be implying that Netanyahu is less interested in negotiating any sort of peace deal because of the pressure he's under to deliver a strong message to Iran. A peace deal would potentially undermine that message, possibly opening the door to additional aggression by Iran. Why Biden would weigh in on this discussion in such a fashion remains

The better Israel does in its ongoing retaliation against Iran and its terrorist proxies, the more it seems as if their supposed allies have lined up to thwart their efforts in every fashion imaginable. Yesterday, on a French radio program, Macron urged a return to "a political solution" to the ongoing dispute. He clarified what he meant, saying that the West should end arms deliveries to Israel for use in Gaza. The response from Prime Minister Netanyahu was rapid

Vice President Kamala Harris declined to say Sunday whether Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a reliable ally, in a clip released by CBS News’ 60 Minutes. Harris was not clear in her reply, calling diplomatic relations with Israel an “ongoing pursuit.” (X Video) “Do we have a real close ally in Prime Minister Netanyahu?” the interviewer persisted.
