Effective July 2025, teacher licensing rules passed last year in Minnesota under Democrat Gov. Tim Walz will ban practicing Christians, Jews, and Muslims from teaching in public schools. (snip) Starting next July, Minnesota agencies controlled by Walz appointees will require teacher license applicants to affirm transgenderism and race Marxism. Without a teaching license, individuals cannot work in Minnesota public schools, nor in the private schools that require such licenses.
The latest version of the regulations requires teachers to “affirm” students’ “gender identity” and “sexual orientation” to receive a Minnesota teaching license:

With that, Minnesota public education will certainly go down the toilet. Home and private schooling will certainly go up, unless Walz and his minions blocks it.

The anti-Christ Marxists are taking control in MN. and their voters are allowing it. My God have mercy on their souls.

Very well then, the Trump Department of Education should rescind all accreditation for Minnesota public schools.

In other words, if one is a person of faith (unless Buddhist or Hindu) one cannot teach in Minnesota.

The more I read about this idiot Walz, the more I wonder about the intelligence of Minnesota voters. I'm sure somewhere in that state there is a conservative section much like here in Maryland, but the rest of the brain-dead state insists on being led around by the nose.

I am always astonished that publications such as this assume that only those who are Christian, Jewish or Muslim would oppose the trans and LBQT,etc. agenda. One poster here even implies that Hindus and Buddhists are on board with the nonsense. I am an unbeliever in any religion and I find these licensing rules as abhorrent as the sexual propaganda pushed by public schools in every state.

The Walz rules "..... require first-graders to ‘identify examples of ethnicity, equality, liberation and systems of power’ and ‘use those examples to construct meanings for those terms.’" It is not likely that first-graders comprehend the meaning of these terms.

Not public schools, Marxist training camps. Are the people of Minnesota that stupid? I saw no signs of that in my travels throughout the state.

"People who enter teaching with a degree other than in education tend to have significantly higher personal and student academic performance." Something most people believed but nice to see it in print.

So you say what they want you to say, the earth is flat, climate change kill all of us in 3 years, boys are girls and girls are boys, whatever nonsense they want you to affirm, then go teach. Come on, it's not that hard. Even Peter denied Christ, but that didn't stop Christ from entrusting his church to his care. Say what you need to say to stay alive, or to keep your career alive, then go teach truth.

Another wrinkle in the rat's plan....walz has shone his true colors...he should ,move to china and take his tire burning wifey with him....how did Minnesota become so corrupt that they could vote this man into office...or...was it another dead men voting of Chicago fame....the rats never do anything without a plan...so now WE must figure out this move by the democrats headed by obama.....

That's not new. I was a teacher in Illinois twenty-five years ago -- an aide made a lovely Christmas bulletin board and I was told by the Principal that it had to be taken down. No religious bulletin boards in school.

This erodes the little patience I've had for zealous secularists who complain if our parochial school only hires Christians who practice our faith.

Where's the diversity and inclusion Democrats pretend to love? As others have said here, this kind of bigotry cannot possibly be legal. With this country having too few teachers as it is, demanding that new teachers endorse anti-American "values" is foolish and counter productive.

There may be a few Republicans who deny the existence of God, but it would seem only Democrats who are heartily true deniers are drawn all the way into early childhood education. Walz might have a bit of difficulty figuring out the true believers from the CINOs, JINOs and MINOs. I wish him no luck whatsoever in his endeavor.
