Washington, D.C. – The acting head of the Secret Service admitted at a congressional hearing Tuesday that he “cannot defend” the security failures that allowed would-be Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks to carry out the shooting at the former president’s rally earlier this month.
Acting Secret Service director Ronald Rowe candidly discussed with Senate lawmakers the agency’s failures at the Trump rally and the various reforms he will implement to ensure nothing like it happens again, a contrast to former director Kimberly Cheatle’s refusal to answer basic questions when she testified before the House Oversight Committee last week. She has since resigned.

He did not ‘candidly discuss” agency’s failures. He obfuscated and blamed local law enforcement.

I watched some of the hearing. He was extremely combative and evasive refusing to answer questions.

They did not know he had a gun?
People were standing nearby pointing at the guy on the roof and saying, "He has a gun!"

The more I hear and read about the July 13th assassination attempt on President Trump and the Secret Service's action, I believe it was INTENTIONAL because security was lax, was almost absent, and that the higher ups in the government wanted what happened to happen. Prove me wrong!
Lord God Almighty, we appeal to heaven that You Lord will protect our President Trump from any and all attempts to kill/assassinate him. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I reread the article and believe Acting Secret Service director Ronald Rowe is lying to cover up something very evil going on in the upper management of the Secret Service/Homeland Security. Will we ever find out the Truth?

Blaming local law enforcement was not a mature move. This is the responsibility of the Secret Service and they failed. Saying that "this will never happen again" does not work for the people who were shot, especially for Corey Comparatore and his family. Way too much evidence and information is still in hiding. Wray is a conniving bureaucrat.

Their only hope is to throw all leadership under the bus and vow to restart their organization.
They need to bring in retirees, who knew what their priorities were before DEI, to retrain agents.

If the Congress wants to get a nearly clear and true picture of what occurred at the Butler, PA rally leading up to the time that Trump was wounded, and came with an inch of being murdered, they will forget about calling Biden appointed DC Secret Service headquarters based bureaucrats, and instead will identify, contact, and question the specific Secret Service Supervisory Special Agents and Secret Service Special Agents who were actually on the ground before and at the Butler rally. It is clear already that the Biden run Secret Service was at least up to the Butler rally providing Trump with the least amount of personal protection as they could get away with based upon their political reasoning. In addition the Secret Service Agents who were on the ground in Butler can explain the rules of engagement from the Biden bureaucrats that they were required to operate under, which may explain the reasons why Thomas Crook was not brought under physical control until right after he got off eight rounds from his rifle with the motive of taking Trump out for good. Clearly by spending a lot of time arguing with Biden bureaucrats the Congress is wasting their time trying to get the true story of what occurred that fateful day at the Butler, PA rally.

There are so many inexplicable "failures" on the part of the Secret Service that it is almost statistically impossible for them to be unintentional.
One idea I have yet to see explored is the possible link between the attempted assassination and the lengthy disappearance of Joe Biden from public view shortly thereafter.
Joe Biden has been known to pubicly blurt out things that were meant to be hidden.
Could it be that the disappearance of Joe Biden was not just because of Covid, or the need to persuade him to exit the presidential race, but perhaps to spend a lengthy "coaching" session to prevent him from saying something that SHOULD NOT BE SAID about the attempted assassination?
Could Biden's recent comment about Speaker Johnson "being dead on arrival" actually be a result of something in the back of Biden's head related to what actually happened to Donald Trump?
Did Biden, or others, have foreknowledge of the events at Butler?

After two weeks, about the only thing we know about the attempt to kill Trump is the TV footage and attendee interviews. The Secret Service and FBI have been stonewalling the congress committee trying to get answers. They refuse to identify who was in charge of the protection operation. When asked why they refused to identify this person the committee was given the answer that this person was currently in charge of another security operation. After such a major screwup, the person should have been put on suspicion or on office duty until this was sorted out. When asked why the federal-locale coordination meeting did not take place because the federals were a no show, no answer was given.
With all the stonewalling and evasion, people are wondering what are they trying to hide. With all of the drama this election season, expect conspiracy theories to abound.
