'It's Over': Dem Panic Over 2024 Curdles
Into Despair

How do I know that the reports over Democrat despair are credible? This one comes from Politico, but the New York Times has covered it wall-to-wall for the past two weeks as well. This isn't just conservative schadenfreude, but a real phenomenon unfolding on and being reported by the Left. Before we get to Politico's more explicit report, we can certainly extrapolate establishment Democrat despair from this NYT report about Joe Biden's appearance in Michigan. He drew a crowd, but not any other high-ranking Democrat officeholder: Conspicuously absent, however, were many of Michigan’s highest-profile Democrats, including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, whose popularity

It's not over. Never underestimate the criminality of the Democrats in their lust for total power. I am willing to bet that they realize they can't get the legal votes now to win and will resort to even more massive cheating. If we can't stop the steal, this country is done.

After Whitmers compassionate handling of Covid 2020, I'm surprised she wasn't run out of the state in tar and feathers, and not popular! I hated her actions then and I don't live there.

President Biden struggled Monday to explain his recent demand that Democrats put former President Donald Trump in the “bull’s-eye,” saying it was a mistake but also saying he could have said worse. In a clip from an interview with NBC Mr. Biden was asked about the words he used in a phone call with campaign supporters earlier this month. “It was a mistake to use the — I didn’t use crosshairs, I meant bull’s-eye, I meant focus on him,” Mr. Biden said. According to the report in Politico, Mr. Biden was defending his continued campaign in the face of questions about his abilities. “I have one job, and that’s to beat Donald Trump.

Perhaps the only surprise here is that it's not a surprise. As many people had predicted, Donald Trump selected Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) to run on the GOP presidential ticket. Vance had appeared to have the inside position on the veepstakes track for weeks, and didn't get eclipsed by the events of this weekend: After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the Great State of Ohio. J.D. honorably served our Country in the Marine Corps, graduated from Ohio State

Former president Donald Trump is officially the Republican party’s presidential nominee for the third consecutive election cycle, an outcome that was effectively decided months ago after Trump dominated his primary challengers in the early-state contests. Trump received enough delegates to officially become the GOP nominee when son Eric Trump allocated Florida’s delegates for Trump, to a rousing ovation from the crowd in Milwaukee, Wis. on Monday. Eric Trump made the announcement flanked by brother Don Jr. and sister Tiffany, and wife Lara Trump, a co-chair of the Republican party. Pennsylvania, once reasonably believed to be a lost cost, has come full circle, and now this is just the latest of many polls showing the former president up big there. A years-long collapse in support for Democrats among young Gen Z "Zoomer" males accelerated to a dizzying speed during the Presidentish Joe Biden administration — and that's before Donald Trump's display of sheer damn manliness in the moments after Saturday's assassination attempt. The collapse began in 2016, the same year Donald Trump was elected to his first term in office — and, looking back, it seems almost inevitable. That was the year the American Left went from merely unhinged to flying off the rails like Doc Brown and Clara Clayton at the very end of "Back to the Future Part III."

Law enforcement officials admitted it was “surprising” how the gunman was able to get so many shots off in the attempted assassination on former President Donald Trump before he was taken out by Secret Service snipers. During a press conference early Sunday, officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police deferred several questions about security to the Secret Service — who were notably absent. When asked if he was surprised at the number of shots the gunman was able to take at a former president, Kevin Rojek, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Pittsburgh field office, said:

The gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump Saturday was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, sources told The Post. Crooks, of Bethel Park, Pa., squeezed off shots — one of which grazed Trump in the ear — at an outdoor rally in Butler, just outside Pittsburgh. Sources said Crooks was planted on a roof of a manufacturing plant more than 130 yards away from the stage at Butler Farm Show grounds. He was killed by Secret Service snipers. An AR-style rifle was later recovered. Bethel Park is a village 40 miles south of where the Butler rally was held. Why Crooks fired on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is unclear.

BUTLER, Pa. — The Secret Service blamed local police for failing to secure the rooftop from which gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump, insisting it was outside the perimeter the federal agency was tasked with protecting. Instead, securing and patrolling the factory grounds of AGR International Inc. — located about 130 yards from the stage where Trump was speaking Saturday — was the responsibility of local Pennsylvania police, Secret Service representative Anthony Gugliemi said, according to the New York Times. The Secret Service was only tasked with covering the grounds where Trump’s rally took place, with local police being recruited to assist with those efforts and
