The media is aghast, panicked, and shell-shocked over Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance, which might have been the final nail in the coffin of the Biden 2024 campaign. It was a painful 90 minutes where Joe Biden seemed aloof, mentally slow, and incapable of defending his agenda or attacking Trump. In short, everything we’ve been saying about the president regarding his physical and mental health was showcased for the entire nation. There’s no selective editing here—this is Joe. Maybe I’m overthinking this, but many on social media clipped this bit from CNN host Erin Burnett. It seemed as if she was inadvertently admitting that the Biden camp was fed the

The debate Thursday night was a complete and total disaster for the Democratic Party. Joe Biden pounded his chest over the prospect of debating Donald Trump. His side was eager to do it. The party, in general, seemed to be primed for the showdown. But time is a funny thing in politics. It’s the most valuable resource, and often, operatives say there’s not enough to get everything they want done in a campaign. For Biden, too much time has allowed his weaknesses and party fractures to fester, leading to a full-blown stage 4 diagnosis of political cancer that might have undone the president against Donald Trump.

The Biden campaign is going to use at least some of the time on stage at the debate tonight to show how fit the president is. No, Joe Biden will (probably) not be jacked up on uppers. But the old man is going to channel his inner 20-year-old and try to come off as a lot younger than he's shown in public recently. How old has he seemed in public lately? Biden has held only 11 campaign rallies this year in which he spoke. He's held exactly two rallies since March. This "low energy" campaign can, at times, mimic the dead.
has anyone noticed that Biden has only spoken

“Liberty, equality, fraternity, or death; – the last, much the easiest to bestow, O Guillotine!”
—A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens
Every leftist cause is founded on empathy.
The quintessential leftist, no matter how much blood eventually spatters his hands, starts off by caring a great deal about other people. His heart bleeds for the oppressed, the workers and the peasants, for racial and sexual minorities, and for all the oppressed peoples of the world.
The ideological fashions may change but the story is always told the same way.
Somewhere there is an oppressed group to be liberated. And he, she or they is the one to fight for their liberation.

One of the stranger things about the Mar-a-Lago raid was the discussion about whether the surveillance cameras should be on or off.
Eric Trump had previously said that the FBI asked them to turn off surveillance cameras during the raid. And that they refused and the cameras had caught agents entering restricted parts of the estate.
Jack Smith admitted in a recent filing that the cameras were turned off at “out of concern for agent safety” before they were then turned on again by the request of the Trump attorneys.
But what exactly was the nature of the threat to the agents from the cameras being on? Were the Feds worried about

It is chilling to contemplate that, if it had not been for the malign intervention of the CIA in the 2020 election, Donald Trump would have won a second term and the wars raging in Ukraine and Gaza would never have happened.
We now see that the CIA staged a domestic disinformation campaign to protect its favored candidate, the decrepit and pliable Joe Biden, from the political consequences of his corruption.
Now we are told that former CIA Director Gina Haspel was in on the “Dirty 51” letter in October 2020 that falsely claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation. This bombshell, revealed by former CIA chief operating officer Andrew Makridis to

Using their Nobel prize chops as credibility, some 16 economists signed a ridiculous letter put out by radical left-wing economist Joe Stiglitz, claiming that President Trump would wreck the economy if he gets re-elected and usher in runaway inflation. The economists, ummm, seem to have been living in an academic bubble, not noticing Joe Biden's record on the matter. I wrote about that here.
They portrayed themselves as just objective economists practicing their science, and making their pronuncimentos.
But their aim, of course, was to influence the election. They were following the 51 intelligence analysts model, imitating the tactics of the spymasters who signed a letter in 2020 claiming the Hunter

Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio was shot and killed at a Holiday Inn in Tampa early Sunday morning, according to his attorney.
Charles Andrew Jones II, who performs under the stage name Julio Foolio, was celebrating his 26th birthday at a party he advertised on Instagram.
According to his attorney, Lewis Fusco, Jones had too many people at the Airbnb where the party was hosted and had to leave. He got a room at a Holiday Inn across from the University of South Florida, where he was “basically ambushed” in the parking lot, Fusco told News4Jax.
Tampa police tentatively identified the victim in the shooting as Jones

We have been discussing the efforts of the hacks in the mainstream media to create a fictional Joe Biden since the early days of the 2020 campaign. When Biden was given his order — almost certainly by his wife — to run again this year, I immediately pointed out that they were going to have to wear themselves out to prop up what he's become since January of 2021. Michelle Cottle is the national politics writer for the Opinion section of The New York Times, which essentially is a master's degree in creative fiction. Her latest is titled "What Joe Biden Could Learn From Betty White About Aging in Public."

A tiny baby girl died after being left in the back of a hot car just two months after her adoptive parents took her home as a newborn.
Diana Sofia De Los Santos was found unresponsive in the SUV outside her parents' home in Santee, San Diego, about 12.20am on June 13.
She had been left in the car for several hours in 63F weather when a family member found her and called 911. The baby girl was rushed to hospital but did not survive.
San Diego County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating how Diana was forgotten in the car and who left her there. No charges have been filed.

I’ve said before that Joe Biden has never been much of a friend to Israel, even in the immediate aftermath of the Hamas attack on October 7. His initial public support hurt him politically with the antisemitic wing of his party, and he has gradually shifted his position ever since. The Biden administration has taken increasingly tougher stances on Israel, including sending aid to the terrorist organization Hamas and withholding weapons from Israel, our ally. A new war between Israel and Hezbollah, another Iran-backed terrorist organization, now looms, and the signal Israel is getting from the United States is: you're on your own.

On Sunday's "This Week," Martha Raddatz had a panel discussion with three "experts" on the upcoming presidential debate. The panel included Frank Luntz, and what he offered up made little sense.
Luntz claims that the last two presidential campaigns, beginning with Trump versus Clinton in 2016 and then Trump versus Biden in 2020, were the beginning of the end of democracy. It seems everything in politics is “the end of democracy.” Luntz claimed that personal invectives and insults are too debasing and, apparently, a sign of the end of democracy. Luntz is a pollster, not a historian. Maybe he’s unaware of the long history of politicians insulting each other.
