When I Went To The Doctor For Kidney Stones,
She Cared More About Pronouns Than Patient Care

When I woke one recent morning to severe pain from a bout of kidney stones, I knew I had an excruciating day ahead of me. I didn’t realize how excruciating until I arrived at George Washington University Hospital’s emergency room where one of the ER’s resident physicians greeted me wearing a pin: “Ask Me About My Pronouns.” The remainder of my morning became a real-life demonstration of how woke physicians prioritize ideology over patient care. (snip) Rather than engage in ostentatious virtue signaling that alienates as much as it attracts, doctors should spend more time listening to patients than talking at them.

Typically we are too busy filling out electronic medical record forms to ask questions. Thanks Obama.

My response; 'Dear Doctor, I don't give a flying rat's arse about your pronouns. How about we just focus on my problem right now?' This doctor thinks you received shoddy care and that bill should be contested. Furthermore, the worthless care from the doctor AND hospital should be reported to the insurer and licensing agencies. Though seeing as this is in DC, it sadly won't likely matter.

I am so tired of the nonsense. I remember the good old days when a doctor would make a house call and simply treated you like an ill, but normal patient.

Before the pronouns, the most important super duper critical form that they absolutely positively needed your signature on before all else, even the bill, was the stupid Health Information Privacy form.

The minute that idiot doctor started in on this crap, I'd have fired this alleged doctor and went to another hospital.

my father used to say "you can call me anything just don't call me late for dinner"
- this whole pronoun thing is made to deconstruct the social order and blur the lines of social class nomenclature so when the commies do take over the transition will almost already be in place, "comrade" will be the title for everyone no matter who they are, male, female, black, white, brown, tan etc

#6, Don’t forget the stupider (my opinion) rule you have to list the people who can see your medical records. And your primary doctor must be listed, too. He/she doesn’t get them automatically just because they take care of you. They have to be specified.
Destroyed our health care system.
Thanks, communists.

Who allowed this resident physician to have the pronouns and labor union tags on his/her/its professional uniform? The hospital has some explaining to do? Oh, yes, and the incompetency thing!

"While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, others don’t necessarily want to hear them,". PERIOD.
Whenever, & however many times, I am asked my "pronouns" I just extend my hand & keep repeating, Hi, my NAME is ______. It really burns their toast but makes the point.

Medicine, like government, education and justice, has become a corrupted industry. There are still pockets of integrity. I have seen them. They are the minority, however.

I get that someone has to take over when the older generation retires but the new generation is the worst especially the females and I stand by that statement.

This doctor cared less about your condition than 'which pronouns' you use. I guess that would make her a
'Which Doctor'.
