There will be two presidential debates between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump on June 27 and September 10 after both sides agreed on the calendar Wednesday morning. "Former President Donald Trump has agreed to debate the current president on CNN on June 27, said a person familiar with his thinking who was granted anonymity to discuss the issue. That decision was made shortly after President Joe Biden said he had 'received and accepted an invitation' from the network," POLITICO reports. "The agreement does not ensure that a debate will happen. But it signals an interest in both camps to have a public sparring.

These debates will happen after the cage match between Musk and Zuckerberg, which had also been agreed by both (in principle, anyway), but getting from agreement to actuality faces more obstacles than did getting Macquiao-Mayweather to come about...

The Georgia Court of Appeals has given a green light to Donald Trump's case to remove Fani Willis from his election fraud trial in the latest blow to the Fulton County DA. Willis has courted controversy while prosecuting the county's election interference case against Trump after it was revealed she had a past relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade. She escaped with just a slap on the wrist after Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee dramatically ruled she could stay on the Trump election interference case if Wade removed himself.

Former President Donald Trump slammed the pace of the trial in Manhattan for his falsifying business records case, saying the prosecution and Judge Juan Merchan were trying to rush it in order to hurt him before the election. “This case…which it should never have been brought — it should have been brought seven or eight years ago. They didn’t do that because they want to bring it up right in the middle of the election, especially since we’re leading in every poll,” Trump said in remarks to reporters Thursday afternoon. “They’re trying to rush to get it done before the election so that they can harm me, so they can hurt

Washington— The House delivered a rebuke to President Joe Biden Thursday for pausing a shipment of bombs to Israel, passing legislation that seeks to force the weapons transfer as Republicans worked to highlight Democratic divisions over the Israel-Hamas war. Seeking to discourage Israel from its offensive on the crowded southern Gaza city of Rafah, the Biden administration this month put on hold a weapons shipment of 3,500 bombs — some as large as 2,000 pounds — that are capable of killing hundreds in populated areas. Republicans were outraged, accusing Biden of abandoning the closest U.S. ally in the Middle East. Debate over the bill, rushed to the House floor by GOP leadership

Independent Robert F. Kennedy can qualify for the June presidential debate if he meets certain requirements that former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden will easily satisfy. To qualify for the June 27 CNN debate, candidates must meet multiple requirements. For starters, they must “appear on a sufficient number of state ballots to reach the 270 electoral vote threshold,” the network notes. While Trump and Biden will easily meet this requirement as the presumptive nominees of the two major parties, the Kennedy campaign is still working to gain ballot access in all 50 states.

Their plan included some program cuts, but mostly relied on new revenue, internal borrowing and funding delays and shifts for savings,
