A Jan. 6 protester has sued the Biden administration, accusing it of both constitutional and human rights violations in reportedly horrific treatment of J6 prisoners.
Edward Jacob “Jake” Lang, who says he just completed another lengthy period in solitary confinement (30 days), has sued Attorney General Merrick Garland and Metropolitan Detention Center Deputy Warden Heriberto Tellez. The lawsuit, filed in the Washington, D.C., District Court, accused Garland and Tellez of continuing to have Jake “held and transferred in violation of his Constitutional and human rights,” according to The Epoch Times.
Lang’s Twitter/X account posted on May 10 about the April lawsuit, trying to raise awareness

A federal judge rejected efforts by Hunter Biden's attorneys to dismiss felony gun charges against him Thursday afternoon, setting in motion a trial for President Joe Biden's son in June.
The younger Biden's attorneys argued the charges, which were filed after Hunter lied on a federal background check form about drug use while purchasing a handgun in 2018, are unconstitutional and a violation of Second Amendment rights. That argument didn't fly.
"Defendant Robert Hunter Biden is charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(3)1 and two false-statement counts under §§ 922(a)(6) and 924(a)(1)(A).

It’s not enough that pro-Hamas mayhem has overtaken college campuses nationwide. We now have these students, though many are probably professional agitators, going on hunger strikes to protest the war in Gaza. We should put “hunger strike” in quotes since this is intermittent fasting. These kids are taking snack breaks—it’s the weakest sauce hunger strike ever. Yet, at Princeton, one student who claims to be immunocompromised complained that she was dying from her self-imposed hunger strike and blamed the school for weakening her. [Video]
“This is absolutely unfair. My peers and I, we are starving. We are physically exhausted. I am quite literally shaking right now,

Now, let’s move to the incompetence part of this presidency. It certainly played a factor in this decision to suspend arms shipments to Israel, but does Biden think he can pull a long con over the electorate here? Does this man believe he has the smarts and skills to sell to the antisemites and pro-Hamas supporters within the Democratic Party base that he’s tough on Israel while telling American Jews that our “ironclad” support for the Jewish state will remain?
That’s the sticky wicket: Biden needs to kowtow, grovel, and appease vicious antisemites and supporters of radical Islam to keep his 2024 bid alive.

The poor dears at The New York Times who spend their days shrieking from fainting couches about a Donald Trump return to the White House would like you to know that their concerns are shared internationally.
This is a continuation of an ages-old theme by the Democrats. In their telling of the story, the international community never likes a Republican president. I have no idea how long they've been peddling that story, but it's been boilerplate throughout my entire voting life, and I started with Reagan. Of course, they're referring to the foreigners that Hollywood types would drink with at the Cannes Film Festival,

Joe Biden has told a lot of whoppers about his record. From his repeated claims of creating more jobs than any president in history to claiming the border is secure, he truly has no shame. Another favorite lie of his is that he's brought down inflation when in reality, inflation isn't down at all. The rate of inflation has just decreased — though it's going back up again.
He may have told his biggest whopper yet on inflation during his CNN interview with Erin Burnett on Wednesday.
"I mean, no president's had the run we have had, in terms of creating jobs and bringing down inflation," he told Burnett.

An international jewel thief, wanted by Interpol for theft in South Korea, was reportedly released into the United States last year after arriving at the southern border near San Diego, California. Now, he has been arrested in Nassau County, New York, for allegedly stealing more than $300,000 worth of jewels from Tiffany & Co. and Cartier.
Yaorong Wan, 49 years old, first arrived to the U.S. via the southern border near San Diego in December of last year, according to Long Island News 12. After claiming asylum, Wan was released into the U.S. interior.
Wan had an Interpol “Red Notice” when he arrived at the border

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost sent a letter to presidents of local universities Monday, warning that masked students who join pro-Hamas protests could be prosecuted under a law crafted to fight the Ku Klux Klan (KKK).
As Breitbart News noted recently, there are federal anti-KKK statutes that prohibit masked demonstrators from protesting on other people’s property with the intent of threatening citizens out of exercising their civil rights.
There are similar state laws, such as a 1953 Ohio law that “makes it a fourth-degree felony for two or more people to commit any crime together ‘while wearing white caps, masks, or other disguise,” a Columbus NBC affiliate reported.

President Joe Biden stubbornly refused to admit Americans' struggles with inflation might cost him the election in a rare interview Wednesday.
A growing economy could inspire confidence in Biden's leadership ahead of the election, but the issue of persistent inflation could ruin that.
Biden, who was in Wisconsin to tout his record on the economy and to announce an investment by Microsoft to build a factory, defended his handling of inflation.
Polls show voters are nervous and critical of Biden's handling of the economy and anchor Erin Burnett reminded him that grocery prices are up 30 percent.
But Biden, in his interview with CNN, claimed the polls are wrong

Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) isn’t the best on Second Amendment rights. He supports a ban on so-called assault weapons, which wasn’t the best of developments a few years ago. That’s not what we’re talking about right now. As we speak, Israeli forces have begun the initial stages of the operation to eradicate Hamas from Rafah, their last stronghold in Gaza. It’s an operation that Joe Biden opposes, not that the Israelis care—they will get this done.
And the usual suspects, like Code Pink, have maintained their campaign of harassment as if they’ll ever get the votes to stop aid and arms to the Jewish state.

An Arizona State University senior who was arrested and suspended after trespassing during an anti-Israel protest broke down in tears over missing graduation as a consequence of her actions.
“I’m being restricted from a lot of things right now that I didn’t expect to be for standing up for something I believe in,” Breanna Brocker told ABC15 as she choked up.
“You know I have family coming in who I have to let them know not come to my graduation ceremonies.”
She tearfully added: “I’m just disappointed. I’m a 2020 high school grad, so I wasn’t able to walk then.
