Last week Google fired 28 employees who had participated in a sit-in aimed at getting the company to end cooperation with Israel. “Physically impeding other employees’ work and preventing them from accessing our facilities is a clear violation of our policies, and completely unacceptable behavior,” a Google spokeswoman said in a statement. Years before the dismissals, tensions had been simmering between the company’s management and some activist employees over Project Nimbus, a $1.2 billion Google and Amazon deal to supply the Israeli government with cloud services, such as artificial intelligence...

NIMBY It's not that google is suddenly doing the right thing. It's just that their leftist employees are disrupting their own business instead of cooperating with the democrat government by spying on Americans to assist the intel agencies. Cloud services and AI conveniently expose all of our data to them whether going across the Internet or data created by Word, etc.

We've seen a lot of craziness with the unhinged protests about Gaza from leftists at campuses across the country, including at NYU, Columbia, and other institutions. This Occupy 2.0 effort has seen antisemitic harassment, violence, and even protesters attacking and chasing the police. Hezbollah flags were seen being waved, including at the Princeton University.encampment on Thursday. The University of Southern California (USC) even called off its formal commencement because they were concerned about safety. Radical Democrats like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) have spoken out in support of these encampments, with Ocasio-Cortez claiming they are "peaceful,"

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stated that it’s “not clear” that it’s even possible for Israel to have “a credible plan” for an invasion of Rafah that the White House would support. Sullivan said, “[W]e have made clear that our policy in Gaza will be determined by the steps Israel takes, both with respect to facilitating humanitarian assistance that can save lives, and with respect to civilian protection as it conducts its operations. We have also made clear our absolute deep and fundamental concern about a major military operation in Rafah, because we believe, first,

Alexey Navalny's February death in a remote Arctic prison camp likely wasn't directly ordered by Vladimir Putin, despite Navalny's outspoken criticism of the Russian president, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday. Despite the suspicious circumstances of the opposition leader's death, the outlet reported Putin may not have intended Navalny to be killed when he was. The Journal, citing "people familiar with the matter," reported that several US intelligence agencies, including the CIA, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the State Department's intelligence unit, share this opinion.

The Biden administration has reportedly abandoned its plans to ban menthol cigarettes after warnings that it could push away some Black voters. The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday the White House dropped its plans for the ban after weighing the potential public health benefits against possible political repercussions. “This rule has garnered historic attention and the public comment period has yielded an immense amount of feedback, including from various elements of the civil rights and criminal justice movement,” Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said in a Friday statement. “It’s clear that there are still more conversations to have

President Joe Biden said Friday he would be willing to debate former president Donald Trump, after months of declining to say definitively whether he planned to appear onstage alongside his Republican challenger. “I am, somewhere. I don’t know when. But I’m happy to debate him,” Biden said when asked during an interview with Sirius XM radio host Howard Stern whether he is willing to debate Trump. Trump adviser Chris LaCivita responded to Biden’s comments in a post on X: “Ok let’s set it up!” Biden’s newfound willingness to debate comes after the five major TV news networks and the Associated Press reportedly sent an unprecedented letter

President Biden’s approval rating average is lower than any other president in recent history at the same point in their time in the White House, data released Friday found. The president averaged 38.7 percent job approval in his 13th quarter in office, which ran from Jan. 20 to April 19, according to averages aggregated by Gallup. In the same quarter, former President Trump had a 46.8 percent approval rating average; former President Obama’s was 45.9 percent and former President George W. Bush’s was 51 percent, according to Gallup. The second-lowest to Biden’s in that time was former President George H.W. Bush, who had a 41.8 percent mark.

That happened on Thursday when two videos were released of a pro-Hamas protest leader suggesting Jews should be murdered. Shockingly, this is the same person Columbia University officials have been "negotiating" with over the last few days. Kymani James can be seen ranting about how "Zionists," which are Jews, do not deserve to live and should be exterminated like "nazis." A fair warning. Did y'all hear that boom in the distance this morning? Schmaybe get a foul whiff of something burning in the air? Perhaps saw a pale wisp of smoke on the horizon and wonder, "What now?" It was only the economy tanking. No bigs. The big babies on Wall Street swooned. I wonder if Biden's gonna chew them out now, too. Stocks tumbled Thursday after the latest U.S. economic data showed a sharp slowdown in growth and pointed to persistent inflation. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slid 493 points, or 1.3%, weighed down by steep declines in Caterpillar and IBM. The S&P 500 dropped 0.9%, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 1.3%.

WASHINGTON — Coal-fired power plants would be forced to capture smokestack emissions or shut down under a rule issued Thursday by the Environmental Protection Agency. New limits on greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel-fired electric plants are the Biden administration’s most ambitious effort yet to roll back planet-warming pollution from the power sector, the nation’s second-largest contributor to climate change. The rules are a key part of President Joe Biden’s pledge to eliminate carbon pollution from the electricity sector by 2035 and economy-wide by 2050. The rule was among four measures targeting coal and natural gas plants that the EPA said would provide “regulatory certainty” to the power industry and encourage

WASHINGTON, DC–A majority of Supreme Court justices sympathized with Donald Trump’s attorneys’ arguments that a president does enjoy some level of immunity that endures past the term of office. The court heard oral arguments regarding if Trump is immune from prosecution on charges of attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election, as Special Counsel Jack Smith claims. A federal trial court ruled in Smith’s favor that Trump is not immune from prosecution, but Smith’s prosecution in D.C. has been on hold until the Supreme Court weighs in, likely in late June. Arguments revealed that a majority appears to agree that presidents do enjoy some scope of

Because they don’t understand the situation, or because of their interests, but climate change exists,” the 87-year-old pope asserted.
