Both articles of impeachment against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas were deemed unconstitutional by the Senate on Wednesday in a party-line vote. The first of two articles of impeachment alleged Mayorkas engaged in the "willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law" regarding the southern border in his capacity as DHS secretary. The second claimed Mayorkas had breached public trust. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., proposed a point of order declaring the article unconstitutional, to which the majority of senators agreed following several failed motions by Republicans.

The “Get Trump” Democrats are beside themselves with glee about the former president being stuck in a Manhattan courtroom for the Stormy Daniels hush-money trial while the current president hits the campaign trail.
They have taken to calling Donald Trump “Hitler Pig” in emails and text messages among White House staff, campaign aides and other Democrats close to the administration, reported Politico Wednesday. So much for Joe Biden bringing civility back to politics.
That’s as believable as his other tall tales, that he stopped inflation and never spoke to his son about overseas business dealings.

Monday has been Trump Trial Day in the media, especially for those outlets openly cheering the prosecution of former President Donald Trump on felony charges relating to recordkeeping for a nondisclosure agreement he made with a former porn star. The excitement on some networks is palpable.
The scenario of a Democratic district attorney, Manhattan’s Alvin Bragg, putting Trump on trial amid a presidential campaign is striking in part because of a new survey showing a plurality of the public believing the Trump presidency was better for America than the presidency of Trump’s opponent, the sitting President Joe Biden.

A North Carolina high school student was charged after he allegedly slapped his teacher multiple times during a viral profanity-laced classroom rant earlier this week.
The rage-filled youngster, identified only as a minor, confronted the educator inside Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, where he violently attacked her, according to video posted to social media.
