A North Carolina high school student was charged after he allegedly slapped his teacher multiple times during a viral profanity-laced classroom rant earlier this week. The rage-filled youngster, identified only as a minor, confronted the educator inside Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, where he violently attacked her, according to video posted to social media. After the initial impact, the teacher seemed unfazed by the slap as the student continued to run his mouth. Do you think that affected me anyway,” the unidentified teacher said, sitting back in her chair, legs crossed. “Want me to hit you again,” the juvenile asked as he menacingly approached the teacher.

Well, my money is on a standard description #1......since a 3-4% minority of Americans do about 60-75% of all violent crime in this country. It winds up being a near certain bet. How do I get 3-4%? Simple math. All blacks represent about 13%, so the males are about half, so 6.5%, although in recent years black women have been busting up fast food joints for "too much catsup" or "no cheese on my cheeseurger" and other heinous crimes. And the males ones under 10 and over about 50 aren't doing much of this stuff, so we get something like half-ish of the 6.5%....call it about 3-4% of Americans doing the overwhelming majority of violent crime, this is the roughly 15-45 year old male segment of the population. This is why it's been known for many decades as a "standard description #1" in police circles, because they notice that the overwhelming majority of the descriptions of violent criminals is "young black male". Hard reality. And people are called racist for noticing these simple, obvious, incontrovertible FACTS. America doesn't have a "crime problem" or a "gun problem" it has a "young black male" problem, and we are not talking about it. And no white person can fix this from the outside. Any suggestions, even NOTICING it and saying it like I did here excites angry denials and too often more violence. The black community suffers the most from these crimes, and any fixes are going to have to come from black leaders. And by black leaders, NOT Al Sharpton and the other race hustlers, but maybe from Ben Carson and other wonderful, shining examples of good, honest, wonderful black men like Ben Carson. .

Long ago, when I was of the student’s age, teachers were respected if not always liked. I feel certain that other students would have supported the teacher, verbally if not physically. Our society has profoundly changed. The punk is obviously a feared bully. Also, no teacher or principal would have tolerated this abuse. There was a place called “reform school” for his kind.

I effectively gave up on race relations 30% with OJ verdict, 30% more with Reginald Deny, 30% with Obamas overt hatred of whites, 10% with BLM, DEI (“blacks can’t be racist”), the “white Latino” nonsense, etc. I served with so many honorable black men and women in the military I lost count. Heros across the gambit. It is literally only the memory of them (and our crude Army emails we send each other) that prevents me from becoming racist.

At the risk of sounding really old, my aunt had to paddle a student in her one room schoolhouse. The kid straightened up, sarcastically thanked her, and she paddled him again. When he got home and hid siblings told their parents what had happened, the parents paddled him. She never had a problem with him again. What a different story it would be now!

Dang.....I think #8 has nailed it. This is a guy pretending to be a woman, I'd bet money on that. We'll find out about the "horror of attack on trans" crap tomorrow, probably. Hmmm. Maybe there is a lot of provocation here. Still not OK, but it's also not OK to have men pretending to be women acting as teachers. I had one of those monstersn as a teacher in the 11th grade.....late 60s. Or at least a fat, ugly "woman" with a mean attitude and a hell of a lot of 5 o-clock shadow and a build like Ernest Borgnine. He/she/it kinda looked like Borgnine, too....although not as pretty. And a mean attitude, always angry and wore a giant mumu sack dress every day. Creepy even then, but fortunately we moved half way thru the school year. That was in Norfolk, VA.

Assuming the teacher is a biological female, if he, black or white, had tried that in my 1960s small town high school, male students in the room would have left the punk unconscious on the floor for the principal, police, and EMS to scoop up. Back then I remember reading about some young guy letting his teen age hormones get the better of him at a Lansing, MI high school. Turns out the male teacher he tested had been a hand to hand combat instructor during WW-2. That punk did survive and the teacher kept his job. Brings the movie Second Hand Lion to mind.

The first quarter of 2024 has seen the number of measles cases recorded in the U.S. stand significantly higher than in recent years, a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) details. In September 2022, we argued that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “Arsenals of Evil” — North Korea and Iran — couldn’t help the Kremlin retrieve its faltering position in Ukraine. We were wrong. We didn’t factor in Washington throwing in the towel after Putin’s “special military operation” was on the ropes. The two rogue states, each as anti-American as it gets, are providing Putin with drones, artillery and cruise missiles to defeat the United States and our NATO allies in Ukraine, all while pursuing their nuclear weapons programs unabated.

A new study out of UCLA says same-sex couples are at greater “risk of exposure to the adverse effects of climate change” than straight couples. These effects include “wildfires, floods, smoke-filled skies, and drought,” according to a report from KQED. Same-sex couples disproportionately live in coastal regions and cities, which are more vulnerable to such disasters. They’re also more likely “to live in areas with poor infrastructure, worse-built environments.” Washington DC, which rates high for “climate risks” such as heat waves, floods, and “dangerously strong winds,” has the greatest proportion of gay couples in the U.S. San Francisco ranks second, and also faces a high climate change risk.
