I’ve said this so frequently it almost becomes obscene to keep repeating it. Many of the most professional political class in Washington DC just flat out believe the echo-chambering bubble created by the intelligence apparatus inside the beltway. The Republican political leadership, in this case Speaker Mike Johnson, genuinely believes they are doing what the American people want them to do.
I can say this with certitude, because I have looked at their eyes when challenging their assumptions and mindset, and I can tell they truly do not think they are lying.

History may well judge out interference in foreign wars and our warrantless searches, but I don’t think it will be a favorable judgement

Sorry, Johnson, you're not a good man. Stop gaslighting US. I also disagree that you're being genuine. You can't even make the case to US. I don't care what Russia's doing to Ukraine. We're more worried about their borders in a time of war than our own. Miss me with that. Tim Scott probably would have voted for it if he wasn't trying to become VP, and NC is full of traitors. I'm not sure about Tim and how he's voted in the past; I just don't like or trust him anymore. With his fake marriage.

For 8 very long years America has been dragged throught the filth and slime by the fbi and the rest of the treasonous scum in the intel gutter. The fisa judges totally corrupt as were the warrants to destroy anything and anyone pro President Trump. THAT IS THE HISTORY Johnson. He has proven beyond any question he is fully on board with his never Trumper corrupt aide. Don't know where we go from here but this little rat is going to try rip the soul out of our fight for America. Like I posted earlier regroup and continues the fight. MAGA

Mr. Speaker, instead of throwing printed dollars at an unwinnable war despite our early hope that Ukraine could win, why don't you and your colleagues get a hold of Vlad and cut a deal to end it. We think the world can get by without a corrupt Ukraine being allowed to join this good old boy club aka NATO.

So why is Donald Trump standing by this one? Now?

Just as Fidel Castro claimed after betraying his revolution that "History will absolve me."

Sort of depends on who writes the history, usually the victor writes the history in their favor, in this case the swamp.

and to quote Bootsy Widener (Jude Mussetter) in "Volunteers" with Tom Hanks, John Candy, Rita Wilson and a great supporting cast and her line to Tom Hanks (Lawrence Bourne III)
"what the hell Lawrence, it's only money"
demands renewed form of castigation for this sitting congress because they're giving away our money at the speed of light and no one seems to give a damn

In my mind one thing is certain.
As long as we send money and equipment to Ukraine there will be no peace there.
They will fight as long as our money and equipment hold out, but they cannot win.

Lies in headlines are unbecoming. Ukraine does NOT have "limitless funds". That is a absolute bald faced lie.
And history will NOT judge well the corrupt, crooked, criminal violation of Americans' 4th Amendment rights.

history should be the least of lady macbeth's smirking ambitions delusions and revenge fantasies.
he wants to murder the republic founded as '1 nation, under God, indivisable. with liberty and justice...
for all.' he wants to enslave impoverish and kill off global humanity, --and lie about it,
like the black plague.
what if God has other ideas?
hey louisiana, get rid of this swamp creature.

History is written by the victors.
Since we seem to be losing on all fronts, I wouldn't get my hopes up Mr Speaker.
