There’s a famous story in American marketing circles about a pet food company that spent a fortune on a new dog food, but were horrified to find sales tanking. They’d done everything right! What could possibly have gone wrong? As the story goes, a high-priced consultant was brought in. His verdict? “The dogs don’t like it.”
A similar story about electric vehicles (EVs) will probably one day be taught in business schools. For years, and particularly during the Mummified Meat Puppet Administration (MMPA) we’ve been told EVs are the future, [snip]Unfortunately for the MMPA, the dogs don’t like it:

The heartbroken family of a four-year-old Kentucky girl who drowned in a South Carolina resort pool have launched a lawsuit against the vacation hotspot - which also saw two other child drownings in just three years.
On April 1, 2021, Demi Williams tragically drowned while on a family trip to Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark, allegedly without a lifeguard in sight.
[snip] When she asked to go by herself, Morgan said she told the four-year-old to stand in the pool. After seeing that it was shallow enough for her to easily stand, she allowed Demi to go by herself.

My colleague Becca Lower reported on the earthquake in the New York/New Jersey area earlier, and there was some pretty big shaking for an area that isn't used to it. My family members who live not far from the epicenter said that they really felt the rolling, which for people in New Jersey is very unusual. They're still having some aftershocks, but as Becca explained, no one was seriously hurt and there was no significant damage. I wanted to note some of the funny and crazy takes from the day, since people weren't used to the experience of having an earthquake that they actually felt.

One word: Insanity.
Twelve words: How does this absurd "woke" decision help minorities, most importantly, minority children?
The insanity of "woke" not only continues; it continues to metastasize and attempt to sweep under the rug even the most vile acts committed against society. In this case, child abuse and child neglect.
A Boston, Massachusetts, hospital announced on Tuesday that after finding black mothers were more likely to be reported to authorities for child abuse and neglect if a toxicology report came back positive, it would take steps to reevaluate its process to avoid perpetuating "structural racism."
I'm sick to death of that term (excuse), are you? Let's continue.

This incident didn’t occur in Anacostia—this happened in Springfield, Virginia. One of the wealthiest counties in the country saw a chaotic “street takeover” by hooligans who tried to rip a police officer from her vehicle. The site of the mayhem was on Electronic Drive, where an army of miscreants were recklessly driving, doing doughnuts around 3 AM on Sunday.
The dashcam shows how these thugs surrounded the officer’s car, with attempts made to open the doors of the cruiser. Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis believes his department “narrowly escaped a line-of-duty death scenario” (via WTOP):

The Biden administration has announced in recent weeks new stringent emissions requirements for virtually the entire American transportation system.
The Environmental Protection Agency will mandate by the year 2035 that virtually every car made and sold in America must be an EV. No more gas cars. The New York Times comically declared that motorists don't have to worry because this "is not a ban on gasoline-powered vehicles." [snip] If you want to disrupt a nation's progress, take away its energy sources. This is usually a tactic that nations use against their enemies when they are at war.

MSNBC host Ari Melber aired a video Wednesday on “The Beat” of an interview with former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove at the Rancho Mirage Writers Festival.
Rove said, “If they were smart, they’d take the January 6th and go hard at it. And they would say, ‘He wants to pardon these people who attacked our Capitol.’ I worked in that building as a young man. [snip]
" And every one of those sons a bitches who did that, we oughta find them, try them, and send them to jail.

Taiwan was struck by the largest earthquake in 25 years in the early hours of Wednesday morning, collapsing buildings and triggering landslides, killing several and leaving tens of dozens missing.
Rescue efforts are underway after a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit Taiwan around 0800 local time Wednesday (0100 GMT, 2000 EST Tuesday). Local media reports the death toll has risen to nine people and that may increase further as attempts to locate 77 people thought to be missing. Among the missing, per reports, is a party of 50 travellers on their way to a rural hotel in a national park.

Gov. Ron DeSantis is fighting back hard against a program that allows President Joe Biden's administration to fly migrants to Florida without notifying officials first and wants to make Florida 'undesirable' for illegal immigrants.
The Biden administration's CNHV program allows 30,000 undocumented migrants to be released into the country every month. And a new analysis from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) on Monday reveals a vast majority of migrants flown into the U.S. are landing in Miami.[snip]
migrants arriving on the program were landing after boarding flights in Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela

Hollywood studio Paramount Global has been downgraded to junk status by S&P, which cited the ongoing plunge in cable TV subscriptions as the reason for the credit rating change.
Paramount — which owns numerous linear TV properties including CBS, Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, and Comedy Central — is facing a dire economic forecast that is shared by other legacy studios.
American households continue to cut the cords by the millions, depriving studios of lucrative carriage fees. At the same time, TV advertising revenue is plunging due to weak consumer sentiment tied to historic levels of inflation brought about by the Biden administration.

On the Christian calendar, this Sunday is Easter, a revered Holy Day for Christians celebrating the resurrection of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when his tomb was found empty, three days after his execution by crucifixion commanded by the Roman Empire. Even in secular society, the day is celebrated with colored eggs and baskets filled with strange plastic grass and bunny-shaped chocolate confections, and the iconic, American candy gems known as jellybeans. Easter Sunday is not only an extremely significant Christian holiday, it is also a family-oriented tradition.

President Biden has sparked outrage by declaring Easter Sunday will also officially become Transgender Day of Visibility.
The White House doubled up backlash as it also banned religious imagery in submissions from children of military families taking part in the traditional Easter Egg Roll event, as critics branded the moves an 'attack on Christianity.' [snip] As he declared Easter Sunday would also be 'Transgender Day of Visibility', Biden also delivered a scathing attack on Republicans while stressing that 'transgender Americans are part of the fabric of our nation'
