Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that Ukraine and the U.S. government are “working on a bilateral security agreement” that would force Washington to provide Ukraine with military, economic, and political support for the next decade. In a statement issued on Sunday, Zelensky said that he and President Joe Biden are in talks to secure a deal that would give Ukraine U.S. taxpayer funds for the next ten years as its long-winded war with Russia continues.
He claimed the money is needed to equip Ukraine with the “efficiency in assistance” it needs to tackle the recent war advances by Russian forces.

Democrat strategist James Carville lashed out at woke young voters who have turned on President Joe Biden, saying they would have “no rights left” if former President Donald Trump were to win the election.
The former Clinton adviser made his position known in a video posted on Sunday. “So I hear this a lot: ‘James, young voters are just not into this. It’s two candidates — one’s in the 80s, one is almost in the 80s — they’re concerned about things that Washington politicians, and you just can’t blame them for’ — Oh, s***. F*** you!” Carville yelled.

Ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) nations have agreed to eliminate all coal-fired power plants by 2035.
The countries that are members of the Group of Seven (G7) are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union.
This declaration was made by Andrew Bowie, a UK minister at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, during an interview in Turing, Italy.
“We do have an agreement to phase out coal in the first half of the 2030s,” Bowie said.
“This is, by the way, a historic agreement, something that we weren’t able to achieve at COP28 in Dubai last year.”

Grizzly bears will be reintroduced to Washington state’s North Cascades mountain range, the federal government said this week — a decision that followed years of bitterly divided debate. But it may still be years before the creatures step foot in the remote and rugged landscape, given that the complicated process requires trapping, trucking and moving bears by helicopter from British Columbia or northwestern Montana. “There’s a lot to be done before we could even come up with a timeline,” said Jason Ransom, a wildlife biologist at North Cascades National Park. “For a project like this to be successful, it’s really

Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Monday on MSNBC’s “Katy Tur Reports” that if the Democrats win majorities in Congress and the White House, they will ditch the filibuster to legalize abortion nationwide.
Pelosi said, “People have to view abortion as a democracy issue. This is about freedom to make your own decisions for a woman. It’s a personal decision, it’s an economic decision at the kitchen table of America’s families, if and when they could expand their families or even start their families.” Tur asked, “Do you think it’s going to be a more powerful issue at the ballot box this time around?”

The upset parent explained, “While we were waiting for the desserts to come out we received our invitation to meet the Evil Queen

Anti-Israel protesters participating in an encampment at Columbia University defied an order from administration officials to clear out, threatening to “burn” the university.
Columbia University gave protesters an ultimatum of Monday at 2:00 p.m. to gather their belongings and “leave the encampment,” according to photos of a paper from the university posted to the Instagram account of Aidan Parisi, a suspended student of the university. Over the letter from the university were the words, “Columbia will burn,” and “I ain’t reading all that. Free Palestine,” in red ink.

Top White House aides launched a failed plan last fall to boot press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre from her position because of poor job performance, sources told New York Post’s Steven Nelson last week.
The plan, reportedly hatched by White House communications chief Anita Dunn in the fall, apparently failed to materialize because Jean-Pierre refused to leave her position, turning down big job opportunities that President Joe Biden’s aides created for her.“There was an effort to have some outside folks who Karine knows and trusts talk to her about why leaving last fall would have made a lot of sense for her and her career,” one source told the Post,

Terry Clark Hughes Jr. is the 39-year-old suspect who opened fire at the scene where four law enforcement officers in Charlotte, North Carolina, were shot and killed on April 29, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
Hughes was not the only shooter, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings said in a news conference. “When they approached Hughes,” officers “were met by gunfire and returned the gunfire, striking” Hughes, who was found deceased in a yard, Jennings said. Officers then received “additional gunfire from inside of the residence,” he said. It was not immediately clear whose bullets struck which officers.

The Concord Monitor is a Progressive (Regressive) paper. Note the emphasis on a gun as opposed to threats to Republican lawmakers. Another article in a different outlet reported threats that Republican lawmakers have received including “blow a ****** hole in a gun owner’s head today. Save our children from GOP pr*cks.”
