Social media was briefly abuzz last month about Presidentish Joe Biden's boat-anchor shoes, the ones meant to help keep him from falling. But the shoes aren't what really weigh him down — it's voter expectations that he won't survive a second term.
Before we get to that, a little more on the shoes because I honestly can't get enough of that story.
After Biden was first spotted sporting his snowboard-sized kicks, the RNC tweeted, "Biden's handlers are forcing him to wear a new pair of 'lifestyle sneakers' because he trips so much," which of course, lefties denied. "Inside Edition" protested that Biden's Hoka Transport shoes are just "lifestyle sneakers"

"Nobody goes to Florida anymore. It's too crowded." —NBC News, unintentionally doing its best Yogi Berra impersonation.
Citing "a perfect storm of soaring insurance costs, a hostile political environment, worsening traffic, and extreme weather," a weekend report from NBC left the impression — totally accidentally, you can be sure — that things have never been worse in the Sunshine State. That's according to "more than a dozen recent transplants and longtime residents who left the state in the past two years." "There's no better data than anecdata" is the first thing they teach you in How to Journalism 101.

By now, we’re all aware that the White House managed to commit the most sacrilegious act imaginable — or at least made the biggest possible slap in the faces of Christians — by emphasizing “Transgender Day of Visibility” over Easter. While the holiday honoring our secular state religion of transgenderism is fixed on March 31, it could have and rightly should have taken a backseat to the moveable feast that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus.
Instead, Joe Biden, his handlers, and the rest of his administration chose to double down on honoring a tiny minority of transgender Americans over the millions of Christians who celebrate Easter Sunday. The White House statement

If you thought that the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge was the real disaster, you aren’t familiar with the government.
Stephen Green at VodkaPundit notes that, “Could it really take twice as long and four times as much money to replace the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge than it did to build it in the first place? The Key Bridge was built at a cost (adjusted for inflation) of about $200 million. Replacing it could take a decade and cost $400 million to $800 million dollars, according to experts in what has become a dismal field.”
It’ll get worse before it gets better. And that’s assuming that it ever does.

There is no bottom for Democrats to hit, so if you’ve been waiting for one of them to stand up and express outrage about anything related to any of the damaging policies they push, don’t hold your breath. Murdered Americans at the hands of illegal aliens? Yawn. Random women being punched in the face by thugs and goons on the streets of New York? Whatever. Are Americans unable to fill their gas tanks or afford groceries? Who cares? You morons don’t know how good you’ve got it anyway, ingrates. That’s the attitude of Democrats, at least, and they mean it. They hate you. Seriously. Hate them back.

Pop superstar Lizzo has had enough.
She's had enough of the "lies." She's tired of being "the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look."
"I didn’t sign up for this s— — I QUIT [peace out emoji]," she posted on Instagram. The singer is the subject of a sexual harassment lawsuit by three of her dancers who claim they had been “exposed to an overtly sexual atmosphere that permeated their workplace,” and that Lizzo created a "hostile work environment."
She appeared at the Joe Biden mega-dollar fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall on Thursday night, drawing criticism from the attorney for her three accusers.

It's almost like left-wing media sock puppets are locked in a battle over who can make the most vile, inappropriate, and repulsive statements about all things conservative — and of course, about former President Donald Trump. Most of these "journalists" are a dime a dozen, except for race-hustler extraordinaire, MSNBC's Joy Reid and Trump-loathing "Morning Joe" co-host, Joe Scarborough. In my book, Scarborough took home the trophy on Friday.
Scarborough once again trotted out a Trump-Hitler analogy, with a couple of new Nazi comparisons tossed in just for grins —

A Venezuelan migrant infamous for sharing tips on how to invade vacant homes and live off the US government is on the run from ICE, it's been revealed.

Judge Kaplan: SBF wanted to be a 'hugely, hugely politically influential person'
Kaplan says many facts are not disputed, including that SBF had "an exceptionally privileged background."
"He is extremely smart. And he suffers from autism," Kaplan said, noting his understanding of the condition. Kaplan said SBF "is capable of huge accomplishments" while noting he has "a way of interacting with people that’s unusual and sometimes off-putting."
Kaplan agreed with prosecutors' claim that Bankman-Fried "wanted to be a hugely, hugely politically influential person in this country," and that that propelled his financial crimes. Prosecutor: FTX fraud "was not a bloodless financial loss on paper" After Bankman-Fried addressed the court, prosecutor Nicolas Roos offered

Despite mail-in voting and ballot harvesting and a host of other perfectly legal ways to tilt the playing field, could Old Joe Biden actually lose in November? If a Tuesday New York Times story is to be believed, the answer is a resounding yes, and among the most worried is the senescent corruptocrat’s old friend and mentor, Barack Obama.
“Old friend and mentor,” as is well known, is largely an image manufactured for public consumption. Obama has actually taken the measure of his aged former wingman, and has famously warned: “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.” If the Times story is accurate, and not just another signal

NEW YORK, March 28 - Sam Bankman-Fried, the former billionaire cryptocurrency wunderkind, is set to be sentenced on Thursday over his conviction for stealing $8 billion from customers of the now-bankrupt FTX exchange he founded.
Bankman-Fried, 32, faces the prospect of decades behind bars after a jury found him guilty in November on seven fraud and conspiracy counts. His sentencing is due to start at 9:30 a.m. EDT (1330 GMT) before U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan in Manhattan.
The hearing will mark the culmination of Bankman-Fried's downfall from an ultra-wealthy cryptocurrency entrepreneur and major political donor to U.S. authorities' biggest trophy to date in a crackdown on malfeasance in digital asset markets.

Ever since Russia invaded Ukraine, the Western intelligentsia has been busy portraying Vladimir Putin as a man who, unlike, say Lyin’ Joe Biden or Rachel Levine or your local drag queen, has transgressed all the bounds of decency. He’s an authoritarian. He’s an imperialist. He’s an autocrat. He’s a new Hitler. But while the media and numerous government officials have not hesitated to portray Putin as evil incarnate, one would be hard-pressed to find anyone claiming that he is stupid. Few people, if anyone, doubt that he is as shrewd as he is ruthless, as thoughtful as he is menacing. Putin himself, however, has just put a massive dent
