California is dealing with a “substantial increase” in reported cases of tuberculosis, according to state health officials. The California Department of Public Health said the state saw a 15% increase in cases of the bacterial disease last year, from 1,842 cases in 2022 to 2,113 in 2023. It’s a number that officials said hadn’t been reached since before the COVID-19 pandemic. Tuberculosis is caused by a bacteria that usually attacks the lungs, but can travel through your blood and attack any part of the body such as the kidney, spine and brain, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention explained.

The "fabricators of Information" in Sacramento won't admit the true number of 'Migrants' entering California each year. Our population in California is much closer to 50,000,000 than the 40,000,000 claimed by the "fabricators of Information" in Sacramento .

Thank every democrat and Republican who approves of this open border policy. They know these illegals are unvetted and they do not care because they believe they will never have to interact with them. This is what it looks like when your government actively hates you and is consumed by an insatiable lust for power. Nothing matters but their ability to retain unlimited power over the peons beneath them and become wealthy while doing it. I marvel that the American people do not storm Washington with torches and pitchforks.

For the longest time, the media played this game of pretending that it doesn’t consist entirely of a bunch of leftist activists who exist to promote their political agenda and attack those of their political opponents. The pretense is wearing thin. And who knew that Ronna McDaniel of all people would be the breaking point? But it’s kind of like the way that the media’s attacks on dishwater liberals like McCain and Romney, portraying them as Hitler 2.0 just because they posed a threat to Obama, helped kill the media’s credibility. [SNIP] Now NBC News has officially banned Republicans, even ones like Ronna McDaniel, from working there.

Hamakom synagogue, a conservative congregation in Los Angeles, has just gotten a bracing introduction to the reality beneath the surface of efforts at “outreach” and “dialogue”: it leased its facility to a local Muslim group, only to have it host a viciously anti-Israel speaker who has refused to condemn Hamas and likened the Jewish state to National Socialist Germany. Yeah, tensions are really eased now.

Hundreds of thousands of jobs are in jeopardy following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore on Tuesday after a container ship struck one of its support pillars. [SNIP] It is unclear when the port, one of the busiest in the U.S., will be able to resume its normal operations. Last year, The Maryland Port Administration reported that the Port of Baltimore generates around 15,300 direct jobs, with nearly 140,000 jobs overall linked to Port activities. The report found that while parents were often pressured by doctors to put their children on puberty-blocking drugs to prevent suicide, there is little proof that this course of action has any better outcomes for the child.

At least eight states are planning to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars in the next decade - and others are considering joining them. Only zero-emission vehicles can be sold in participating states beginning from the 2035 model year, according to the Advanced Clean Cars II legislation. The rule, which was first adopted by California, means that automakers and dealerships would be banned from selling new gas cars in these states from that point onwards. Americans will not be forced to take their gas-powered cars off the road, however, and will still be able to buy used and secondhand gas vehicles. These states have gone further

Engineers have blamed the deadly collapse of Baltimore's Francis Scott Key bridge on a design flaw that is present in tens of thousands of US bridges. Several experts told DailyMail.com that the Maryland bridge was missing critical protection systems that would have stopped the the nearly 105,000 ton container ship from smashing into the bridge's support. The Francis Scott Key Bridge was built in 1977 and anti-collision devices like fenders or protection cells were not introduced until the 1980s.
